They were easy to deal with during the sales and delivery process, but they really shined post-sale. Like any complex machine, there were a few issues. The issues were relatively minor (the boat is amazing), but the staff at Statewide is top notch. You can speak with an experienced person who will actually be the person working on your boat. I am a persistent, analytical guy, so that's very important to me. They explain what they intend to do very carefully, and deliver what they promise and more. The property is always clean and neat plus the bathrooms are as clean as mine at home. Whenever there is a problem with the electric or something small only 1 call to the office is required and someone takes care of the issue immediately. I tried to replace my water pump on my 1998 Johnson 35 HP outboard. I was able successfully replace…read morethe water pump but, broke the shift connector in the process. In order to replace the connector the power head needed to be removed. I didn't know how to remove the power head so I called several marina's that service Evinrude motors but, none would take on the work because the motor was 25 years old. One marina told me to contact Munro Marina. I called and spoke with the owner, Al. When I explained what I did he knew immediately what was wrong. I trailered the boat to Munro Marina on Saturday 9/30. I met with Al and his wife, they were both very friendly. After completing the paperwork, Al came outside to look at the engine. When I asked when he thought the engine would be repaired he replied by the end of the week. On Friday 10/6 Al called me to let me know the engine was repaired. Thanks to Al and his wife for your professionalism and quickly repairing my engine.

I had issues with my 25 HP ETec for years. I had a mobile service make the repair. They replaced…read morethe fuel pump and told me it went bad because of the bad gas. Every year for the next 3 years the mobile service came and replaced the fuel pump telling me it went bad because of bad gas. Finally the 4th year I replaced the fuel pump myself. When I went to Hance & Smythe to get oil I explained that the fuel pump had to be replaced the past 4 years. They said that makes no sense, they asked me a bunch of questions. And figured out that the fuel separator I installed was causing the problem. I removed the fuel separator and (knock on wood) haven't had an issue for the past 3 years. Thanks Hance & Smythe.
