Great job. And many thanks to Rick Lee and his team for diagnosing and fixing my 9.9 Yamaha which would not reach full power and get up on a plane 0n my high field 310UL . This had been looked at by the dealer who sold it to me new in 2022 without any result, and a mobile diesel mechanic who could not sort it out either. I brought this to Coty marine and the diagnosed it and fix the issue in 48 hrs. I dropped it back on the dinghy and it runs like a top on plane now. Very pleased. It was totally worth bringing in and the service fee. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was about ready to buy a new 15hp, but Coty saved me cash and a headache. read more

We bought a new Monterey SS 278 from Coty Marine In March of 2022. So far we have had to replace two batteries, an alternator, the 11k arch on the boat because of a company defect in the paint which is bubbling and cracking. All the screws are rusting, hinges are loose. But the worse and by far most frustrating and outrageous experience has been dealing with Coty Marine and their mismanaged, incompetent and disastrous gaslighting service. We delivered our 6 month old boat to Coty for winter storage in Oct 2022. What we ended up with when we came to pick it up this April was a damaged, ill cared for, incompletely serviced boat. And every time Coty attempts to do the work that was supposed to be done with the spring commission they damage or break something else. They dropped the anchor on the top of our boat and damaged the gelcoat and left it like that without even telling us. We had to point it out when we came to pick it up- who does that ?!?! They replaced two screws in a 4 screw hinge with two flat head screws instead of the correct round head screws that were clearly there to begin with! Again it's a brand new boat! Not something you bought off of Craig's list that's 25 years old and your patching it up with glue, tape and whatever you can find- like mismatched screws!!! The list of screw ups goes on and on... It's like a comedy of error as if we left our new beautiful, pristine boat with the 3 Stooges... I'm can't list all the things they have done wrong. But their complete utter disregard for their customers and careless reckless manner in which they they handle peoples boats is despicable. While we were there we saw them hit another customers new boat with their fork lift and not even go inspect to look for damage. We showed up unannounced at Coty after they failed for over a month to get our boat serviced, get the damage they caused fixed and get our boat in the water for the season! What we found was disgusting and enraging. Coty picked up our boat after 6 failed attempts back and forth at servicing it correctly. We had gotten our boat finally back home only to try to take it out out for the first time this season to find that it wouldn't start!!! Joe had to come jump start the boat and drive it back to Marina ! When they got the boat to their Marina and took it out of the water they never bothered to rinse it off. They allowed the boat to sit out covered with salt inside and out! Our boat has never had salt water sitting on it for more then 5 minutes. We put the boat on a lift and the minute it comes out of the water it's rinsed and washed off! The boat was thick with pollen all over it. The sea deck was barraged with dirty, disgusting greasy shoe prints! Who does that ?!?! Who treats a customers new boat like this?!?! Our boat looked like a piece of garbage. We take pride and care in our boat and in 2 minutes Coty devalues and allows more wear and tear on the boat then we would in 5 years!!! We are so disheartened and disgusted and wish we had never bought our boat from Coty Marine. I know people read these reviews and think oh that's a one off - but this isn't. We never thought it would be us feeling this way when we bought the boat. But do yourself a favor don't buy a luxury item from Coty Marine, unless of course you don't mind that the people who take your money treat you and your boat like garbage! This isn't the review I want to be writing. What I want is someone who realizes that we spent a lot of our hard earned money on a luxury item and show the same care and consideration for that item as we the owner do. Sadly this is so far removed from what you will find at Coty. As of writing this on May 12, 2023 our boat is still sitting at Coty. We told them to just put it in the water and we are going to take it because we didn't want it there anymore. I'm trying to upload the pics of the damage and the disgusting dirty condition we found the boat when we showed up there yesterday, but the photos won't upload. Coty refused to put the boat in the water. Probably because they haven't done the work that needs to be done to get the boat actually working! Honestly, besides getting stuck out on the water, this is every new boat owners worst nightmare! What a disappointing and disastrous start to our boating season. I've read all the other negative review here and unfortunately we have experienced the same. They also fraudulently charged our credit card for work they didn't do and without our knowledge or approval. read more

Put your worries and concerns away. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and honesty of this service department. I had to bring my boat in for an emergency repair, they were in contact with me all the way, they helped me weight out my options and was more than fair with their pricing. Purchased a brand new boat from them. A little over 1 year later (and now out of warranty) we have worked with 3 service manages. None of the managers have every be able to resolve all of the issues that the boat has had since new (some have been fixed). The work that I have paid them to do, I am questioning if they actually did the work as I paid them to water test it and charge it. When I picked it up it immediately threw a helm fault. The fix they proposed - turn it off and back on. I absolutely detest this place and will not return for service or sales. I have since located another business for my current repair needs. read more

I bought my first boat a Monterey M65 from Coty two years ago and I regret it . I have had pink mold and ripped seats from the first season and it took two years for Coty and Monterey to get them replaced . Last season my Bimini ripped at the stitching and I informed the service department at Coty . I was told this was a warranty item . I have winterized and stored my boat with Coty for the last couple of winters and the Bimini was supposed to be repaired in the off season . My boat was scheduled to launch on the 28th of April . When I arrived at Coty , I inquired about my Bimini and the service guy was unsure of its status .We went out to the boat and uncovered it and the Bimini was no where to be found . I went to open the ski storage compartment to look further for Bimini and found the batteries to be dead . The battery switch was left on after launching boat by Coty . Service called the tarp repair guy and found what they thought was my Bimini and it was marked with my name . Unfortunately it wasn't my Bimini and it is still no where to be found . I was informed yesterday that it would take 8-10 weeks for a new one to come . I was told by Coty there wouldn't be any cost to me . Well I guess there shouldn't be any cost to me , because Coty lost it . I won't hold my breathe , waiting for the new Bimini to come in . Bottom line is if you are in the market for a Monterey , don't buy from Coty, because they are extremely disorganized. Buyer Beware . read more

After looking at other reviews, i've chosen to write one myself.... I'll try to make it short and well,,,, not so sweet.... I bought a used boat from Coty marine.... the long and short of it.... sales was nice til they got my money... they promised me a discounted slip for the season.... When the time can to get the slip[, i went to talk to the girl about it... She told me 95.00 a foot plus 375.00 for water and electric... hahahaha I was promised 85.00 a foot because I bought my boat there.. I informed her of this and she just said 95.00 a foot plus 375.00 non negotiable.... bottom line is, they are full of shit. stay away! I told my sales guy who is a first time boat sales person and a nice guy to get a real job at a real marina so he gets trained the right way and not trained to be a con man..... Also to going rate for slips in this area is 50.00 to 85.00 a foot ( i shopped it). ALL OTHER MARINAS is water and electric included! they lie and try to scam an extra 375.00 outta you.... I purchased a Blackfin 272dc. I have never been to a more friendly sales environment than Coty Marine. Everyone is extremely professional and they sell great quality boats even aside from Blackfin (previously owned a Key West, one of their other brands). I paid a very reasonable price and was able to get great financing terms. I have not made a smarter boat decision since I started buying boats. This Marina has incompetent people and will steal from you any chance they can. I am embarrassed that I kept my boat here despite knowing deep down I was being robbed. I spent thousands for work that was not completed correctly or not done at all. A years worth of repairs and thousands of dollars later the fix ended up just changing spark plugs. It took a different marine mechanic at another Marina to figure that one out. Beware and learn from my mistake, go somewhere else. read more
