BUYER BEWARE This is not a company that stands behind the products it sells. This is no longer a company that is concerned about riders or the products it sells/provides. Their company policies place accountability and costs on customers requiring them to pay a number of hidden fees including return shipping of defective items along with intentionally making it challenging to initiate returns in regards to defective items and warranty claims. Even then, they will refuse to refund the charges for defective items. I want to give less than a one star rating BUT am more concerned with keeping this review active and warning future potential customers from being taken advantage of and getting defective products that may potentially have been used and/or refurbished and resold as new RECENT EXPERIENCE I have purchased 6 different products from RevZilla and have had major issues in defects in materials and workmanship with 4 of the 6 items. I like many of the other reviewers here can attest to the fact that dealing with their warranty department has been a nightmare. I purchased 2 motorcycle bags (costing $600+) from them that have fallen apart within small number of uses. I called them when I received one of the bags concerned about the workmanship and zipper but was intimated into keeping the bag. I asked if I could send photos for assessment but was told the only way for their warranty team to assess was to return the bag to be physically examined and I would have to pay for shipping. I was also told that if their warranty team decided there were no issues that I would also have to pay the shipping fee to get the bag back to me. The agent I spoke to heavy handedly told me to hang onto the bag because there is a 1 year warranty on the bag and currently I would have to pay money both ways potentially BUT if the bag ended up failing that RevZilla would cover the cost of shipping both ways and refund me. This Kuryakyn Momentum Vagabond Sissy Bar Bag ended up failing within a few uses. The zipper I was concerned with had stitching that eventually came loose and it was so poor quality that the teeth started falling out in another area of the zipper to the main compartment. Luckily I had luggage locks that kept the bag from opening on the freeway and was able to use tie downs and rocket straps to keep my gear from flying out of the bag. In the meantime I used the Kuryakyn XKursion Fastlane FB bag since I no longer was able to use my other bag. Within a few uses this bag also started to fail. I had a motorist point out to me that my saddle bags looked like they were coming undone and sure enough the stitching on this bag was separating. I really don't like the look of saddle bags on my current bike so I wanted an option I could easily put on and take off on an "only as needed" basis. I used this bag to carry warmer gear on a few day trips up into the mountains and it was really concerning to me that this stitching was coming undone and this bag could have fallen off because of inherent defects and caused a major accident. I reached out and it took several emails and a lot of communication for each of these items to even begin to be processed. They asked for photos (which surprised me because the agent I initially spoke to said they were unable to review photos for defects or warranty claims). I had to repeat accountings in several emails and then they sent me questionnaires to fill out and asked for more photos and made jump through more hoops. When I finally get to the point where the create RMAs, they tell me that I have to find a shipping provider and package the item for return shipping AND there will be a follow up email with the return address to look out for In the fine print I find requirements that are never mentioned to me (outside of paying for shipping) 1) Find Shipping provider, pay for shipping, package carefully 2) If damages outside of what is documented show up the claim will be denied 3) Cleaning Fee (a cleaning fee will be assessed for the returned defective item) I find out that the cost of shipping these items will be upwards of $100 RevZilla refuses to refund money and only offers store credit, claiming that there is no way to refund money after 90 days. The second return falls within 90 day period BUT am told once again they will only offer store credit. Their agents have been extremely dismissive and difficult to deal with. read more

I signed up for a motorcycle course, which my state allows for me to take a course anywhere, and to just simply mail them the completion certificate and I'd get an endorsement added to my license without even having to fly back home, which I'm on a long-term business trip in Minnesota but an Idaho resident. The course did say that they needed a helmet, but unfortunately for me, I have a larger uncommon head shape (XXL round oval) that requires a special order since it wasn't at the local Cycle Gear store. I made the order, but instead of holding the order and asking what's going on, it was canceled first; I got an email saying that the order had "iNcOnSiStEnCiEs" and I'd need to send them a wire transfer (which did say it may take 2-3 more business days to process the order), but when I called, the CSR couldn't even tell me what the issue was, I emailed back and haven't gotten a response; I need my gear ASAP! I didn't work my way up to have a credit score of 802 to be treated like a delinquent whose transactions can't be trusted, which this is a far cry from how 3 of my rider friends think the world of RevZilla recommend them to me. I'm not spending the $25 wire transfer fee; please improve your how your website handles "iNcOnSiStEnCiEs". read more

I'm disappointed with new policies that corporate have put in place over the years. When I first wrote my review back in the day, I was thrilled with how Zevzilla covered the local sales tax here in Philly. Well, apparently that's over. Whatever I purchase from them, either online or at their store in South Philly, I get hit with 8% sales tax. That's not the case with some other smaller online moto retailers. The other thing that really bothers me, is the current policy with their rewards program. If you make a purchase at the store location, you will not earn Zilla Dollars?!?! You can only earn Zilla Dollars if you purchase online. I don't know if any other retailer running a scam like that. If I shop at Bloomingdale's, or Saks, I earn my rewards points both either online, or at any of their stores. The only reason Revzilla still warrants 2 stars, is that they have a good selection at their store, and their staff are great. read more

I purchased an airbag jacket from Revzilla and their behavior in helping to get it repaired was awful. Here is an excerpt from me to them regarding my withdrawal if the claim after the manufacturer fixed the jacket and I sent them a copy of a note asking Amex to withdraw my claim. Because Amex has not provided paperwork to them, which I find very hard to believe (Amex is excellent about protecting their card holders against retailers who don't honor warranties, etc.) they have cancelled a pending order as some kind of punishment. They then informed me that the burden is on me to get Amex to get them their paperwork, etc. This is just further nonsense. My firm work with Amex every day and they are highly responsive. My note back: "I've done everything I can do at this point. I have copied your firm twice in the correspondence to Amex. I'm sure your accounting people can take it from here. Considering your statement that if I disputed this to Amex you would no longer help me, I seem to have gone above and beyond to help your company. Therefore, please keep my order canceled. I would say that after spending thousands of dollars with your firm, your customer service is among the worst I've ever experienced. Telling customers that they have to go to the manufacturer to seek repairs for merchandise you sell, only to have the manufacturer not be responsive, would be like me going to my BMW Dealer for service and them telling me I have to call Berlin and ask them to fix my bike. Furthermore, your insistence that if I filed a claim with Amex you would refuse to help me further smacks of bullying. I don't need to patronize your company and buy goods whose performance you don't honor. This note seems more appropriate for a Yelp review, and your demands on my time are off-putting." read more

This company is SO shady. I purchased two jackets and when they didn't fit I needed to return them. Their policy states full refund however upon returning them they said I was from a "costume company" and was going to charge 30% for the jacket even though I'm returning it unworn. There are other better jackets out there that honor their return policy. Beware when you order from them if it doesn't work out they might not return your jacket (even though their site states they will) and there's nothing you can do. Sooooo shady read more

Selection is limited (as you'd expect from a brick and mortar), and most of the staff was aggressive to sell, yet also smarmy and condescending. I'm still waiting for some boots to be in stock. Revzilla looks like a 'superstore' but there is too many products out of stock when I want to order them. My order would have four items costing $1500 and it seems there is not an incentive for them to have access to everything all the time for shipping to the customer. Today I tried for the fourth time to place my order, but still no boots in my size. I get supply chain interruptions and out of stock but so much for so long? This company is apparently nothing more than a drop shipper. Its been 7 days since I placed my order and they still haven't shipped it. Called them and was told they don't stock the item and have to have it shipped to them before they can ship it to me. Said it would be at least 2 more days before it shipped. They're website says the order has been processed. Not true and I hate being lied too. Could have already had it through another vendor. If you need something fast this company is NOT the way to go. I've been waiting for my refund for 2 months. now Revzilla is saying they can't tranfer the funds to my bank account and I have to set up a paypal account so they can transfer it there. This is a multimillion dollar company which is owned by Prospect Hill Growth Partners right down the street from my house. This review is for the website portion of their business only. I have not been to their physical location so I can't speak to that. I have been purchasing from RevZilla for several years now and I cannot say enough nice things about this crew. I used to buy from Cruiser Customizing or J&P Cycles but the RevZilla website is laid out much better and their prices are far more competitive. They have a crazy supply of merchandise in stock and their website has lots of video reviews of their products, especially in the clothes department, so you can get experienced opinions on the gear rather (including sizing tips) than what some kid named Junior down at the local cycle shop will tell you. Their reviews don't pull punches on the products and they will frequently recommend a product at considerably less than what a well known manufacturer is selling theirs for due to issues which may seem minor but make all the difference in the world on a bike. When you order your product they send lots of fun stickers in the packages which the kids like, and they provide ZillaCash when you purchase things, which can be used against future purchases. I have only had them kick back an order on me once after it was placed due to an item being listed as in stock at their warehouse when it wasn't, and they made it right by giving me $15 in ZillaCash by way of an apology. The main thing which I like is their return policy. I can spend hours going from store to store in town trying to find riding gear in my size (I wear a 32 X 30 in jeans and a 6 1/2 shoe) which is a pain because when I do find something it's usually not in my color or the style I am looking for. RevZilla allows me to search by size and I then order a size I am in as well as a size up or down. Whatever one fits I keep and whatever one doesn't I just return free of charge. No restocking fee. I know it's probably a hassle for them but it makes me one happy customer to be sure, as if you've ever purchased cycling gear online you know the manufactures size their stuff completely differently from what your normal clothing sizes would be. I don't typically feel too guilty about it thought as I can easily drop several hundred dollars on an order at any given time. So for my money RevZilla has all the brick and mortar businesses beat by a mile. read more

Joe Rocket Atomic 5.0 Jacket. 3. Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus EZ Zip Motorcycle Cover. Products- A. Arai Helmet is the BEST helmet on this earth: - I had an ugly crash, Arai Helmet, saved my head, I hit the ground full impact, helmet got trashed on right side. But my head, neck, face- Did Not even feel the impact, my fall was head over heels, as I toppled over the handlebars. My two cents, "Eat less for a month but never compromise on the Helmet." B. Rocket jacket is a great product:- Rocket jacket truly saved me from sliding road injuries, of course I Broke multiple ribs and clavicle, but rashes or burns from that drag and pull and tumble , did not burst open, rapture or cut my skin. C. Cover worked as promised:-Dowco cover was great, covered my concourse, it rained but never a spot, not even on the wheels. Revzilla Customer Service Feedback:- So I crashed, totalled my motorcycle, my helmet and the jacket, well ER cut into two pieces. LOL But the Dowco cover, despite used, Revzilla empathised with my situation, and gave me credit for that, during hard time every penny counts, they wished me a speedy recovery. Once again, during my purchase process, they advised me correctly and rightly to buy these products, which saved my life, saved me from a possible lifelong and life threatening injuries. The company told them what happened that I never received it and he said it's not their problem and they don't care if I get my money back or another item, they said it's my fault I should deal with it. Having used them before and experienced bad customer service and shipping issues I thought I wouldn't be using them again but here I am, in a pinch, I used revzilla to my mistake. Same thing happened. They all shipped from different states ... they Lost one of my packages, the other two were so late I canceled them. I call customer service. The revzilla voice prompt immediately tells you they're experiencing " unprecedented amount of orders " and they can't keep up. This Tells me that they are making tons of money and can't hire the people needed to process orders. Sounds like greed to me. Hire more people to handle your problems instead of making a disclaimer and putting the problem on the person buying the stuff. Dumb. Won't order again from this online warehouse. I purchased a $200 pair of boots. They arranged to have them delivered to a city address without requiring a signature. Their shipper just dumped them on the sidewalk. Then they refused to take any responsibility when they were stolen. An absolutely deceptive and duplicitous model for a remote shipping business. A week ago I ordered two tires from Revzilla, one showed up the other was lost. It finally showed up about four days later. I'm still fighting with these folks to get a refund. They promise, they are very nice and all, but they have my $400 AND they make their lack of delivery MY PROBLEM with having to write emails, ask for refunds and then also taking back the tire that was lost (after I sourced one locally). They could tell the tire hadn't been delivered, stop making me jump through hoops. That will be my last purchase from these folks and I'm pretty sure I'll be fighting to get my money back for weeks to come. I paid $30 more for the tires locally, but with ZERO hassle. Revzilla has been a constant PITA and just try getting your money back when they screw up. read more

I spent some time combing their website, looking for a helmet that suits me. Their website has a large stock of just about everything, including helmets. On top of that all the time they have spent putting in straightforward product video reviews really helped. Their website is well laid out as well. I found that most products had a video review as well as customer reviews and customer purchase images for that product. I purchased a helmet online from them. Unfortunately it did not fit. They did state in the accompanying video what shape head it fits as well as advice on what size to go with if you were at the top or low end of the sizing spec. The return was super easy. They had it the next day and were already processing my refund. I'd like to thank Derek and Tom for their advice and help in the website chat. Any questions I had were answered quickly and were spot-on. Since then I have ordered another helmet and jacket I am pleased to say I am a fan. read more

This place could mess up a wet dream. Where to begin..... I ordered from them last year and had shipping issues and decided to give them another chance. So I call there at 10am est time and speak to Glenn and tell him I need something for my motorcycle, because I'm going on a trip and I wanted to make sure that they could overnight it to me. Glenn assures me I'll have it so I pay the extra $50 shipping and go about my day. So angry. I ordered a back rack and back case for my BMW and when I received the boxes today I was excited to go install. Unfortunately instead of a rack for a BMW they sent me a rack for a Triumph. I then sat on hold for almost 8 minutes and the customer service rep did not apologize for the mistake and made me go take photos of the parts to send to her. Not only do I not have an answer on how to get the right part, I am betting I will have to repackage their mistake to return. I mean how hard can it be to send the right part number as ordered?? unfortunately, RevZilla has been impossible to deal with. First things first I spent four hours ordering everything that I needed to for my race school then I paid for next day shipping. For only my order to be canceled two days later. All because they said They couldn't verify me with my payment method because my debit card said one state and I was shipping to another state. I hadn't even paid for the membership. They wouldn't let me cancel my membership and make a new account. They said that the only way I could pay them and get my items is if I send them a wire or ACH payment or PayPal. Of course I go online and a few websites were saying that it was a scam and no website should ever ask you to send a wire. On top of that I don't have PayPal because they tax. I was told RevZilla was good for razors, because if I needed parts while on the road, they would ship to the hotel I was staying at. Obviously this is not the case. I then proceeded to create a new , did not buy the membership. Made a small priced order only to get the same cancel notification email. I asked for some other way to verify I am who I say that I am and it's not fraud and they are not willing to work with me. They won't even be able to answer any questions over the phone and it's impossible to get a hold of anyone, they won't let me speak to a manager or this robot person named "Christine" who emails me telling me to send a wire. I then have to drive an hour all the way into a cycle gear where I was able to place my order in person, the guy there at the front desk, the manager, He was great to work with and helped me make my order. I got next day shipping on everything. 10 people in my family have been with revzilla for years, they all are disappointed and no longer want a membership As well. read more

Every person who I've spoken to here has always been friendly and professional. Tom was extremely patient and knowledgeable as I was trying on various gear offering great suggestions and insights along the way. He gave me some great advice about my helmet, suggesting that when I take it home, wear it around the house for an hour to see if there are any issues, and if there were, bring it back (as long as I didn't use it riding). Great advice! After a half an hour I was feeling a lot of pressure on my ears and chin. Took the helmet back the next day and returned it with no problems and tried/purchased a different brand that fit much better. Even the checkout experience was awesome! The super friendly woman with blue hair (sorry, forgot your name), made me feel glad that I was doing business here. I'm lucky enough that I live in Philadelphia, as I'm sure people make the trek here from much farther away. read more

A Revzilla manager reached out to me said my review was denied because I used names of employees- He offered to credit me fully + a 20% discount on the next purchase. I bought a Bell helmet instead. Good on them for looking after this. After all I wanted was the product I paid for. I did learn they they reviewed a prototype that HJC sent them. The final product was sub-par and nothing but issues. HJC will still never get a dime from me again- they didn't even respond to any emails or messages. read more

Been coming to RevZilla for over 10 years now. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommend you talk with Bobbi (looks like Rossi just a bit grater, older and Americanized, lol). The guy knows a lot about gear, from helmets to boots, he'll let you know what would work best for you. He won't push the higher expensive gear if he feels you don't need it or there's something better out there for you. I've followed him since Montgomeryville Cycles off of 309 (swear I'm happily married and not a stalker). I trust him fully with his advice and expertise. I bought my first Arai Helmet from him at Montgomery Cycles back in 1999. The store is fully packed with merchandise ranging from top of the line Dainese suits to Roland Sands wallets. You won't be disappointed, worse come to worse if they don't have it, you can get it shipped for free to your house and it's extremely fast shipping. The showroom is huge and is dripping with leather, textile and carbon merchandise. If I keep writing this review I'll end up gearing up and driving/riding to them, so I need to stop now before the house goes on sale or foreclosure.... Great, friendly and knowledgable crew, amazing selection, great prices and Rossi (just the beat up, more experienced version ), you can't lose here. So after spending 6 hours researching and assembling an order I submitted it, paid via Paypal who has confirmed all of my information. Not 10 minutes later, I get an email saying that they have a problem with my payment processor. Probably all of the chargebacks they get for non-delivered merchandise. So I sent an email and no response. Went to J&P Cycles, saved $200 off of my $1200 order. Revzilla has bad reviews all over the place. Wish I had checked them out before wasting my time. read more

Be wary of the return policy. When purchasing I thought I had a minimum 30 days to return the item and found out after calling that there is no returns on opened electronics, I never used it just opened it to see how user-friendly the gpx route uploads would be. I could have bought from 100's of retailers and chose Revzilla for this item, however, I will never shop here again after this discovery and surely will no longer promote your online site to other ADV enthusiasts. read more

Great store, great selection, and knowledgable staff in my experience! The person helping us was super friendly and took great time and care to make sure we were getting the best equipment, which is my only real issue with shopping at RevZilla in person - they seem to only want to sell you the "best" (read: most expensive) equipment. Even though we had done research beforehand and knew what models we wanted to try on, the sales person insisted that we try just the items with the highest price tags. When we asked for the specific models we actually wanted to purchase, we had to ask her 3 or 4 times before she obliged. I understand wanting to promote the more expensive items, but after a while it felt a bit pushy. Overall, I would still shop here, but probably more online than in person to avoid the pressures of the sales folks. read more
