No complaints on service. My car runs very well now . I'm happy with the service and would bring it back for any other services.

While visiting relatives in Little Egg Harbor, I encountered an issue with my engine coolant fan…read moresystem. After reading positive reviews about Jon Miller, I decided to give them a try. They assured me that they could take me right away. Brian called me shortly after dropping off my car and explained the problem. They quoted a reasonable price and provided a timeline for when I could expect my car back, as the part (coolant temperature sensor) needed to be ordered. To my delight, I was able to get my car back within 36 hours of the drop-off. Throughout the process, everyone I encountered was friendly and Brian kept me updated. Extra kudos to the front desk peeps for answering my inquiry about whether this kind of repair would fall under wear and tear, considering that my car was still under warranty. I highly recommend Jon Miller and their service. I also noticed that there were a twice a few people waiting (Monday morning) when I dropped off my car, which I took as a good sign

Claimed either $130 part may work or complete new box for over $1000. My regular mechanic in the city informs me that they put the cabin filter in wrong and part to fix glove box is $30. OBTW...since they put the cabin filter in wrong, no heat comes out of under dash vents. Guys who work there gather around desk and shoot the breeze about all kinds of stuff, in view of customers who are waiting for their cars. Very unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend going here.

I took my 2012 Kia for Struts, tuneup, oil change, you know, regular 75,000 mile maintenance stuff…read more I have always found the guys here to be professional, courteous, no pressure and above all, very very reliable and competent with the repairs. I want repairs done right! They do that, even with older cars (I had a 2005 Toyota. They were fabulous with that one too!)

Absolutely terrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone!…read more To start off, I purchased a vehicle through Carvana and noticed that the steering wheel was slightly off-center. Carvana instructed me to bring the vehicle to one of their repair facilities, and Parkertown Auto was the closest location to me. From the moment I walked in, the experience was a nightmare. The service writer immediately started arguing with me, insisting that Carvana would not cover the alignment, despite the fact that I had ALREADY spoken with a Carvana representative who confirmed that it would be covered. After wasting several minutes arguing with me, I finally told him to contact the number Carvana had provided and figure it out himself. When I dropped the car off, I specifically explained that the vehicle tracked straight but the steering wheel was slightly off-center. Later that day, I picked up my car, and the service writer told me the alignment was "all messed up" and that they had managed to get it covered. Great, except I already knew it was covered because I had done my homework before ever showing up. On my drive home, I immediately noticed that the steering wheel was in EXACTLY the same position as it was before they touched the car. So much for fixing the problem. I called the shop, explained the situation, and was told to bring the vehicle back so the service writer could "do it himself." I brought the car back, they had it for about an hour, and eventually called to tell me it was ready for pickup. Then things somehow got even worse. On my way home, I noticed that my car had been switched into Sport mode and, more importantly, MY DASH CAMERA HAD BEEN UNPLUGGED! I immediately called the shop to find out what was going on, and the excuses started flying. Apparently, my dash camera would interfere with their alignment machine. Seriously? My vehicle already has TWO factory-installed, hardwired, forward-facing cameras, but somehow my aftermarket dash camera was supposedly the problem? That explanation makes absolutely no sense to me. I have over EIGHT YEARS of experience in the automotive industry, ranging from working as a mechanic to managing an entire department. I understand how repair facilities operate, what a proper customer experience should look like, and what it means to treat customers with respect. In all those years, I have rarely encountered this level of unprofessionalism, disrespect, and excuse-making. The complete lack of communication, the unnecessary arguing, the failure to correct a straightforward alignment issue on the first visit, and the fact that I had to deal with excuses after discovering my dash camera had been unplugged made this an absolutely unacceptable experience. I went in expecting a simple alignment correction and left questioning the professionalism and competence of the people working on my vehicle. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend Parkertown Auto to anyone, and I will absolutely never give this shop another dollar of my business. BUYER BEWARE!

I am mechanically inclined to am extent like doing my own tune ups and oil changes even some minor hose and part replacement. But i leave the bigger jobs up to the pros. Most recently, however, my fiance and i brought our 1997 Honda civic in to have the exhaust pipe welded back onto the catalytic converter. It just so happens at the same time the alternator went. I remembered the great service i received when they fixed my jetta years prior so i figured I'd use them again rather then parkertown and i must say im sure i made the right decision. He fixed the main issues and even figured out a few electrical issues i had with my speedometer without even charging for the extra work. He didn't have an alternator on hand but was able to have one ordered and installed the very next day. All together my car only spent about 28 hours with him an came back running as good as a 97 Honda could possibly run haha. friendly honest and makes sure he takes care of your car needs without breaking your bank. I believe he strives to keep customers coming back and i value that in a mechanic. As long as i live in little egg harbor i will never use another mechanic. Very pleased.
