We are both a little surprised to see that Smokey Ros was part of a gas station, however, the gas station was very updated and the coffee shop itself was also very updated. Off to a good start so far. My husband ordered our chocolate peanut butter milk shakes. Choose surprise, they have never heard of a peanut butter chocolate milkshake! However, they did what they could and made us one. Sadly, they use chocolate ice cream and added peanut butter rather than doing the normal vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and peanut butter. They were a little too rich for our liking, but we really appreciated the effort. The baristas were very nice. All in all, a pretty good trip. Next time, if we come again, will make sure to let them know how to make the shakes to our liking.

The 2 ladies that were there were super sweet. There is some seating inside and outside. And you can see the old architecture of the building inside and out which makes it fun. They are only open 6am-2pm. Will need to go back and try their pizza as I was not impressed with the donut.

We asked for no added sugars, understanding that the syrups used will likely be sweet enough -- golly, are they sweet. This is no fault of the cashier. When we asked for no sugar she already mentioned that the flavor syrup will have sugar, this is fine. We just didn't realize it'd still be utterly sweet! I'm so bummed. Typically fruit teas are not this sweet. I hope they adjust this over time. I miss my true Asian fruit teas naturally sweetened by fruit flavors.
