I took it back, cost me another $$$. After another year and three months more issues. Oh yes did I tell you after BOTH times of working on it my mechanic that does my oil change had to tightened bolts that were loose and about to fall off. On the third time I went elsewhere. The guys at Moore's went above and beyond and COMPLETELY rebuilt it. The old one was completely wrecked, even the transmission cooler was unusable. They went out and found me another case and rebuilt it right. My van is doing great now. 12 month/12000 mile warranty. What's not to like? They did the work for the price they quoted and they did it in the time frame they gave me to start with. I just wish I could find someone as good to work on the rest of the car.

This was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Before dropping off our truck,…read morewe spoke with the owner multiple times and were assured he was willing to inspect and possibly replace the transmission. Once the truck was there, communication quickly became a problem. Over the course of 2 1/2 months, we called repeatedly for updates. Every time, we were told the truck was about to be brought into the shop or that they would "get to it that week," but nothing ever happened. We continued to be patient and understanding, but there was no progress and very little honesty about the situation. Also the owner was extremely rude and flagrant towards us. Eventually, we went to the shop in person because we still didn't have our truck. When we arrived, the employees ignored us for several minutes until we finally had to speak first. The staff was rude and dismissive, and at that point we decided to have the truck towed elsewhere. They said that they would get to the truck that week. By this time all the trucks that were there when we first dropped off our truck, had been gone and replaced with new ones that needed to be fixed. Obviously, seeming that he just didn't want to work on our vehicle. If that was the case, he should've just said so because we use the truck for our business and we were actively losing business/frustrating our customers while it was in the shop for 2 1/2 months without any explanation. A week or so later someone we know dropped off their truck with the exact same transmission issue, and had it fixed within a week. Again, we've been waiting for 2 1/2 months. When this happened we simply told the gentlemen that this is ridiculous and asked for the keys to be placed in the truck so we could have it towed within the next day or so to somewhere that would actually fix it and do right by us. There were several other issues throughout this entire process, but overall this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. We wasted months with no work completed, poor communication, and disrespectful treatment. We will not be returning and would strongly recommend others look elsewhere for transmission or repair work.

What we thought was going to be $1000's in repair costs turned out to be much, much less as Butch found it was a wiring, and not a transmission issue. A quick fix and we were on our way.
