Shortly after warranty had expired, the engine began to leak around the engine block. Later had leak repaired at an additional cost of $1500.00 . Was supposed to get a $500.00 check from the Jasper engine company for my engine block. Asked H &R about the $500.00 before the engine installation was completed. H & R said it would reduce repair cost by $500.00. When I received my repair bill, there was no $500.00 taken off on the repair worksheet!!! When l asked H&R about the $500.00, they became combative, insisting they had done something with no proof. When I contacted Jasper engine, I learned whoever or company sent them the engine that's who received the $500.00 H&R basically performs substandard auto repair and takes your engine refund!!!

Mike (the owner) quoted me a much better price to install a stage 2 performance clutch, resurface my flywheel, and all new bearings. Mike was an amazing mechanic and kept me updated on everything and did an amazing job installing everything, he kept my car in good shape and there was no damage to it what so ever, he was very respectful of my vehicle. The price was beyond a great deal, he charged me $400 to drop the transmission, $400 to put the transmission back up, and $700 for all the parts needed for the installation to bring it to a total of $1,500. My new stage 2 clutch drives fantastic and I would highly recommend Mike's shop for any transmission work, he really knows what he is doing, he gets it done fast, and doesn't BS with prices or any additional/unnecessary work on my car.

EDIT: Norris Automotive issued an apology on a review, after reading other reviews I do believe…read morethis to be a genuine mistake from them. I brought my car to Norris Automotive because it was local and my vehicle had to be towed. From the very beginning, this turned into one of the most frustrating and dishonest service experiences I have ever had. I was told my car was flooded, needed a tune up and a new battery. The estimate was already steep at $600, but since the car was already there, I agreed, thinking at least the work would be done properly. Then I get the call that car is ready, the total is now $705. Annoying, but I stayed hopeful that the extra cost meant quality work. I was wrong. I pick up my car, pay the bill, and the receipt says I was charged for new spark plugs and a new battery. That's it?? When I get home, I pop the hood and to my surprise, the same corroded battery is still sitting there. On top of that, my engine cover is now cracked, something that was not damaged when I dropped the car off. I call immediately. Ryan puts me on hold and comes back with, "If you come back tomorrow, we will put the battery in." No explanation. No apology. No accountability for charging me for work that clearly was not done. At that moment, all trust was gone. I would not trust this shop to put air in my tires. I told them I wanted my battery money refunded. Ryan says I have to bring my card back in. On the drive over, I notice I was also charged an environmental and supply fee, something I would understand if they had actually replaced and disposed of a battery, but they did not. When I walk in, Ryan tries to play it casual and asks for my card. I ask him directly, "So I am paying $500 for four spark plugs?" He looks me dead in the eye and says yes, $110 for the spark plugs and $290 for labor. Oh, you mean the same labor that was supposed to include installing the battery they never installed. Absolutely unbelievable. I also ask about the environmental fee, he only offers half back.. Wtf? This place charged me for work that was not done, damaged my vehicle, raised the price after the fact, and offered no reasoning other than it was "an honest mistake". So you admit you have no quality control? If you value your money, your car, and your peace of mind, do not go here. Receipts of initial battery charge and refund attached. Stay clear.

So I took it back for them a 2nd time to fix and they replaced the crank sensor and some wires. I got it back and it ran fine for a a week but was still struggling to start and he said " it might be a faulty crank sensor because we used an aftermarket one" so I kept driving it then one day it just didn't start at all. So I made the mistake of having it towed there and worked on for a 3rd time. When they received my truck it somehow started fine for them and only wouldn't start some of the time. They barely keep you updated on your vehicle, I kept my truck there for 2 months and they couldn't figure out the problem.. I picked it up the other day and won't ever go back. Mind you I took it in for a coolant leak. It left the shop with more issues than when I brought it. So I spent over $2000 and my truck is not fixed. My dads is an ex mechanic and said he's never heard of a vehicle being in the shop for 2 months.
