the front desk staff could be a little friendlier and the assistant put me in a very uncomfortable position with my neck which caused me to have to ice it later on. I was asked to put my chin on the chin rest but it wasn't in the proper position and I had to push my chair back as my neck and shoulders were uncomfortably scrunched up. I had to say, something is wrong here before she said, oh the chin rest, raising it and solving the problem. I then was taken to the exam room where more assessing was done. she then left me with some virtual headset thing and turned off the lights and left. the test concluded and I sat in a dark room for 10 min before she came back and put the lights on. after this was Dr. Chan and she is excellent as always. Again on the way out, desk staff not friendly again. they couldn't figure out which one of them was going to help me check out. read more

My family has been using location in Scituate for many years and can't imagine anything but a five-star rating. Everyone is pleasant, positive, customer facing and helpful. From the moment you enter, all of the steps of care from Reception, Testing, Clinical Care and Prescription Service maintain the highest professional standard. Isn't it nice to have a doctor that listens and converses in language that the patient can understand? That is what we have come to expect at Scituate Harbor Vision Source. A couple of years ago I had van incident causing me to lose the sight in my left eye. Their training, skill, and immediate emergency connections has, after a long battle, saved my sight. Yes, I am a fan and biased so. I back it up by my personal experience. I am forever grateful. read more

I was in for my annual eye exam, and I had a great appointment. Normally I would think there's no one nicer or more helpful than Dr. Crooker, but Dr. Andrade was equally wonderful. On top of being completely professional, knowledgeable, and extremely nice and friendly, she took the time to talk through everything going on with my vision, the tests that were being run, and made sure I had a thorough understanding of the results of the tests and my eye exam. It's so nice to be given this insight, to take the time to talk with me, and to be treated with compassion and care - I wish that were the case with all doctors. Thank you! read more

They are definitely worth the trip from Plymouth. I trust them completely. The last couple of years I have been seeing Andrade, and she is fabulous. She takes the time to answer all your questions and explains everything that is going on with your vision. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend Scituate Harbor Vision Source. The technology amazing; the staff is professional and pleasant, and Dr. Andrade is outstanding. I appreciate the comprehensiveness of the eye exam, and Dr. Andrade is very knowledgeable, explaining things in easily understandable language. Her enthusiasm is palpable. I especially appreciate the general energy of the practice, that they are there to help me meet my eye care needs and goals, and not to "sell to me." read more

It as so nice to have them set up an urgent care appt for my son. He was told to see an optometrist for a follow up to an eye injury, but he only has ever seen an opthalmologist who is a distance away and hard to get a quick appt. He was very pleased with the experience at Vision Source, and glad to be in their system. My son has a complicated Rx and has always only gone to an opthalmologist. This is a great, local alternative. THANK YOU VERY MUCH read more

Dr Andrade is so great! I have been getting my eyes checked for contacts for 20 years and I learned more from her in one visit than I understood from the last 20 years of other eye doctor visits. She explained my current eye health/vision situation and what to realistically expect in the future as I get older. I highly recommend her! The office was also easy to make an appointment and get to and the front desk receptionist was lovely. read more

Our adult son who has special needs has seen by Dr Chen for several years and again this week. The technician could not have been better - she made the patient feel comfortable and helped him through all the procedures so appropriately. Dr Chen is wonderful with him also and so respectful of our situation. We also love the opticians who are patient with slow decision making - and great when any adjustments have to be made. read more
