the front desk staff could be a little friendlier and the assistant put me in a very uncomfortable position with my neck which caused me to have to ice it later on. I was asked to put my chin on the chin rest but it wasn't in the proper position and I had to push my chair back as my neck and shoulders were uncomfortably scrunched up. I had to say, something is wrong here before she said, oh the chin rest, raising it and solving the problem. I then was taken to the exam room where more assessing was done. she then left me with some virtual headset thing and turned off the lights and left. the test concluded and I sat in a dark room for 10 min before she came back and put the lights on. after this was Dr. Chan and she is excellent as always. Again on the way out, desk staff not friendly again. they couldn't figure out which one of them was going to help me check out. read more

From the moment you enter, all of the steps of care from Reception, Testing, Clinical Care and Prescription Service maintain the highest professional standard. I was in for my annual eye exam, and I had a great appointment. Normally I would think there's no one nicer or more helpful than Dr. Crooker, but Dr. Andrade was equally wonderful. On top of being completely professional, knowledgeable, and extremely nice and friendly, she took the time to talk through everything going on with my vision, the tests that were being run, and made sure I had a thorough understanding of the results of the tests and my eye exam. I have been using Scituate Harbor Vision Source for over 50 years. I started using them when Dr. Price the only doctor. I can't say enough about them. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care. They are definitely worth the trip from Plymouth. I trust them completely. The last couple of years I have been seeing Andrade, and she is fabulous. Had trouble with my eye in the morning and called Scituate Harbor Vision Source and they took me at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. My regular eye doctor couldn't see me until the middle of April. Dr. Andrade was unbelievable. She explained to me what was going on and gave me a prescription that made my eye feel better the first time I used it. needless to say, I will be changing eye doctors. It as so nice to have them set up an urgent care appt for my son. He was told to see an optometrist for a follow up to an eye injury, but he only has ever seen an opthalmologist who is a distance away and hard to get a quick appt. He was very pleased with the experience at Vision Source, and glad to be in their system. My son has a complicated Rx and has always only gone to an opthalmologist. The technician could not have been better - she made the patient feel comfortable and helped him through all the procedures so appropriately.
