During my last visit, for a prescription lens replacement, I was very disappointed. For a simple single prescription it was almost $200 for lenses only! when they were ready, I did not receive any call back that my prescription was filled and ready to be picked up. when I picked up my glasses. I was asked to try them to make sure I could see out of the prescription which I could. But in the past, the technician would sit with me and make sure that the arms of my glasses were aligned, and he would bend them to make sure I had a good fit, he made sure that his customer was satisfied . I didn't find that this past week. Basically they wanted to make sure I could see and sent me off on my way. They gave me two tiny alcohol eyeglass wipes, which were dried up when I opened them . this is why we see many stores closing...great customer service matters and if we aren't appreciated we shop online, and get better prices. I don't think I will be going back here. They've lost that personal touch, which I had appreciated in the past.

The ophthalmologist was not the problem but one of your techs was. First, she had a nasty attitude like she wanted to be anywhere but here. Clearly, she had my medical history in front of her and my age...over 65. When she started the eye chart tests which she called "programs" she kept YELLIING the information to read what normal people call an eye chart. Finally, the third time she YELLED at me I politely told her "Please stop yelling at me." She scowled at me. I considered getting up and walking out. This Tech who looked like she was still in high school was exhibiting blatant age discrimination. I am not deaf just because I am over 65! Never been treated as rudely as this before. Weymouth is the service, and I want to give a special shout-out to Cynthia (Cindy) the optician! A while back when my mother and I were glasses shopping, Cindy gave us good feedback on frame choices then looked up our separate vision plan benefits and took the time to price out our frame and lens selections (with insurance, without insurance, with For Eyes' current specials, etc.). She was also perfectly lovely when I wanted to exchange one of the pairs I bought because I wasn't feeling a love connection. But yesterday Cindy took customer service to a stratospheric new level! I had shown up at the store shortly before closing time with my mum's glasses which had been damaged in a fall, hopeful they could be fixed but mentally prepared that it could be a wasted trip since they were bent in a couple spots and a side arm had broken off. Cindy did her best to fix the glasses but it was a lost cause. Undeterred, she checked the inventory and found they still carried the same frame (hallelujah!), so she popped the lenses into a new frame, adjusted them based on the bends in the original pair and created a perfect "new" pair of glasses for only $24 (the price of the frame) that I could then bring to my mother so she could see again. She never made me feel pressured and was patient with me while I visited other stores before making my final decision. In addition, I had brought a pair of progressive glasses that I bought 6 months ago from For Eyes that I never had liked because I couldn't see well through them. Stacy immediately determined that the lenses weren't properly fitted and she fixed them for me! I am so glad that I used Lunette for my recent progressives. Not only did I get beautiful Chanel frames, the lenses are far superior than the lenses in my older 2 glasses. Significantly better!
