Scituate collision had my car after a young driver rear ended my SUV. I was sent to them by the "independent" appraiser, his name is Chris Crosby, my insurance company sent out to look at the damage. I called and made and appt with Rob the owner to drop my car off. He had my car for a week and called to tell me that they needed a little more time bc of parts and Covid. I acknowledged jt was a difficult time and said not to worry let me know when it's all set. He called two days later and told me I could pick up my car. I drove there with my two toddlers and husband to get the car. As I am transferring the car seats to my car I go to open the back of my trunk (where I was hit) to find that the interior of my car was left a complete and utter mess. Missing screws, fabric untucked (see photos). I called Rob and left a voicemail, I left the car there and went home. He called me the next day and told me "the guy that worked on my car was extremely anxious about Covid and was rushing to get the job done". I explained that I understood but that this was time out of my day and more time on my rental car and that I have two kids with me that I need to transport in and out with very large car seats. He apologized and called me the next day to get the car. I go at night so I can pick it up with my husband (who is an essential employee). The next morning I go out to my car to put my kids bike in it and I see that all the back windshield wiper parts are completely rusted and running rust down my back window. I call Rob, again, I again have to bring it back. He fixes it. I get it home again and the back hatch won't latch without force. I call Rob again, again I bring it in. This time though he has my car all day long. I call him at 2pm and he tells me he looked at it he can't find my problem, so why did you have it all day?! He told me he would look at it again and call me right back. I waited 2 hours for his "call right back". I called him and asked what took so long and He tells me that he is waiting for my appraiser from my insurance company. He called my appraiser to come see my car without my knowledge so that the appraiser could "sign off" on the work and it would no longer be his problem if my car still isn't fixed to perfection(which it was in prior to the accident). This mind you is the same appraiser that recommended I go to Rob in the beginning. I go down and immediately get my car out of there. I drive down the street open the back hatch and it closes with barely a feather of a touch. So he clearly did something. Do not bring your car to this collision center. There is some shady work going on here and don't every trust Chris Crosby and independent appraiser. read more

I dropped my car off after getting into an accident. Rob was very polite and on top of the job. The Day I dropped off my car, he had a rental from Verc rental already their. I didn't have to wait. When my car was ready, all I had to do was leave the rental and pick up my car. SO CONVENIENT!!!! I needed another rental really quick, and Rob had it their before I even arrived.... 20 mins. Unfortunately we have needed a lot of bodywork given our teenage drivers. This place is amazing! Great work and the owner Paul works hard to minimize costs, especially when you are paying out-of-pocket. Gets the work done quickly. Only problem is that the Town of Scituate police will not tow directly to his place (I think they have some kind of an arrangement with another company). No problem. Paul has his own tow truck. Call him, before the Scituate police tow to the in-town lot. This shop gets our highest recommendation. Wish there were more stars! read more
