    Regular (size) nachos added chicken

Reasonably priced food in the Big sky resort. The burger was really good, it had nice uniformed thin onions, tomato and fresh lettuce. Fries were hot and fresh. Nachos were huge, but just your typical nachos nothing extraordinary. Overall I enjoyed it enough to go back a second time. Both times service was really good. Bar / pub atmosphere but children are welcome. It's the kind of place that they have self service water.

Almost trying too hard. Went here twice in a week a colleagues (yes, I get the irony but you do what clients want). I thought the first time here that the selection and menu tired too hard but little sounded good to me. I ended up getting the minestrone soup. The second time, just got drinks. The staff was medium attentive and the place itself was clean but not anything too wow for the area.

Steak salad but the carrots are bigger then the tiny bits of meat.not worth the $7 extra

Didn't take any pictures of food because we were starving by the time we got it! This place was ROCKING!! Our first stop of the trip, got a few beers and some great burgers. The streak fries were bomb. And the waitress, Stephanie, was absolutely amazing!! She was so accommodating and worked so hard, literally running the show on her own! And a busy place, too. We went back a few days later to purchase some bourbon (yes, they are the local bottled liquor sales).... And had to try the Huckleberry White Russian.... Infused with huckleberry vodka and huckleberry syrup.... OH MY GOD. Absolutely delectable and beyond what we could have imagined. Yummmmy.

What a cool place! We visited scissorbills while on a birthday ski trip to Big Sky. We popped in midday for a snack and some drinks and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great. They had live music playing, everyone was having a good time. The food was great, the drinks were flowing an the staff was very attentive. Really fun stop when you come off the mountain. Will definitely be back!

Stopped here in late March, 2022. Came up for a few days and was excited to try this place out. I heard they have the best burgers on the mountain from our hotel staff at The lodge big sky. When we stopped in, it was 3:20. Food service on Tuesday and Wednesday begins at 4. We were a tad disappointed but we were excited to try some of their unique beverage offerings while we waited. I ordered a spiced cinnamon cider. It was delicious and had a sweet, cinnamon flavor to it (but not too overpowering). My partner ordered a hot buttered rum which was sweet and amazing as well. I'd rate the drinks a 5! When the kitchen opened, I ordered a gaucho burger. It comes with frito lays, but I chose to upgrade to tater tots ($2 upcharge). My partner got the cheeseburger with tots. Sadly, our food sat for about ten mins on the shelf while the server chatted with some patrons for an extended period of time unrelated to service (seemed like sharing about a side gig business). We never heard "order up" from the kitchen or a ding of a bell (standard for letting a server know the meals were ready) but either way, we wish this would have been different. Interestingly they didn't ask how we wanted the burger cooked and I didn't say medium, which is my personal preference and usually the standard for restaurants. The burgers were well done--and a bit over cooked. They were quitE dry. They were not as great as we would have hoped. We had great views. The drinks were decent. The food one okay. The service was eh (dining only) bar was on point. I think if we came back here, We'd definitely stick with Montana Jacks.

Good place to refuel during a long days worth of skiing. Food tasted fantastic, portion sizes were a bit short of the expectation. Servers were extremely helpful and polite, but best to not go there when you're in a hurry. Very eloquently decorated! Would consider going again if I was in the area.

Nachos- one regular and one large. Both with chicken added.

Great atmosphere and great food too. One of the only reasonably priced places to get a meal and a drink on the mountain.

Caesar salad - old lettuce stalks, cheap store croutons, really poor presentation with minimal prep. The stalks weren't separated. Just big chunks of white stalk. Green parts were wilted and tasteless. It was inedible. I overheard the table next to us draw the same conclusion. 2. Pappardelle with mushrooms and grilled chicken - sauce was good but clearly too tasty to have been prepared onsite, probably shipped to restaurant in a bag. Chicken was cold and pre-prepped. Garlic bread was clearly from a freezer and hard, not tasty. 3. The server was actively indifferent to who ordered what and where to place drinks or plates. This was across drink orders, apps, and entrees. Every single time the server put every order in front of the wrong person, even after guidance. Group of 4 people, not hard if you're paying attention. This server was not. I saw the manager running around but she didn't bother stopping by our table, even after I sent back both dishes 2/3rds uneaten, hence this review. So for unappetizing entree and a truly inedible Caesar salad, a nonalcoholic beer and several glasses of water, I'm out of pocket around $80. No tip. This restaurant deserves to be shut down or overhauled, or both. DO NOT ENTER.

The lunch buffet offered premium meats, including smoked salmon and bison flank steak. One that I did not like was the mushroom soup, which tasted like biscuit gravy and was not enjoyable by itself. And service during the lunch buffet could have been better. We asked for plain butter for our bread since we did not like the sweet butter offered at the buffet. Our first waitress forgot about us, so we had to ask another waitress to bring it. Dinner was a much better experience. I ordered the tomato bisque, and it was comforting and enjoyable given the cold weather outside. Despite the restaurant being busy with conference attendees, the noise level was manageable and did not take away from the experience.

On the positives side, it was the best meal we had at Big Sky (between Chet's, Carabiner's, and The Exchange restaurant). We each ordered bouillabaisse which came with shrimp, mussels and two big portions of lobster, along with some mashed potatoes. This was delicious and generously sized. I could easily have shared the dish. The salad was really large and also very tasty (don't remember the name but it came with candied pecans and a red wine vinaigrette). We also ordered the kids pasta which was a hit. The had a good spirits selection and had Blanton's. On the negatives, the kids grilled chicken breast came overcooked, despite us asking specifically for it not to be overcooked. Fortunately they immediately redid it for us and it came back moist and tender the second time. We also had the hamachi crudo which was not the freshest tasting fish and was half tuna (mich like the tuna poke we had at Carabiners) and half hamachi. My orange bitters old fashioned on their specialty cocktails menu also did not hit the spot. But overall a very good meal albeit pricey, and very attentive server.
