Delicious dining experience at Big Sky Resort. Small restaurant but good service and a nice menu. Located right across from slopes and in the main lodge makes it perfect for any time of day. Plus, while you're eating, look out and admire the snow and mountains.

I had a surprisingly good sandwich for a ski area base area. The music is pretty loud though so if you're looking for a quieter place to sit, try to get a table outside.

Quick service, great food, amazing view of the ski slopes. Busy place but service is stellar and friendly

    The potato soup and marrow.

Had first great meal a couple days ago. Excellent salad and burger. Came back today for soup and bread. Toast was burnt and I asked for it unburnt toast. They the brought out untoasted buttered bread. Is it unreasonable to ask for toast (you stick it in toaster and adjust down the setting.) to go with my $24 cup of soup and marrow?

The decor had a great ambiance. The service was great. Chris was our server and was the just right level of attentive. I had the Smash Burger. The meat was flavorful. The condiments didn't distract from the burger. The one thing that could improve is bringing down the volume of the music. Was hard to hold a conversation.

Incredible spot at the base of the mountain. The atmosphere is solid inside and you can watch from the bottom of the mountain. We ordered the beef nachos, the turkey sandwich, the Caesar salad and everything was great. Also, the baked potato soup is pretty nice. We had a large group and we're served quick and friendly by Dru. He was on top of it and he delivered on all fronts for the group. We appreciate his attention to detail and great service.

"medium" steak frites. avoid at all cost.

The steak frites was a crime against humanity. It was a tourist stomp on a Yellowstone bacteria mat. It was a starbucks lid floating in the Morning Glory pool. The chicken parm wasn't breaded but it was pretty good The potato soup was also decent

Food was good, atmosphere was cool. Service was nice. All around a good spot to eat. Will come again next time when we visit Big Sky again in the future!

Very great experience. I had mocktail and potato flavored pastawhich was very tasty. Ambience was great and staff was very helpful. Price wise its costly but really flavorful.

Came in here for a late lunch after skiing all day. Waygu burger was delicious and very filling. Our server Anthony was awesome too. Food came out super fast. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that it seemed pricy but then again it's a ski resort.

Started off strong with drinks: my hazelnut espresso martini was chef's kiss (smooth, nutty, and dangerously easy to sip). My friends ordered the Alpine Negroni and The Sinnerman, and both were huge hits around the table with bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the better cocktails we've had on this trip. For food, we went full sampler mode and ordered three different slider trios so we could try everything. The unanimous ranking: 1. Trout sliders: shockingly good, super flavorful, and the instant favorite. 2. Short rib sliders: rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. 3. Wagyu sliders: still tasty, just overshadowed by the other two standouts. Between the drinks, the food, and the multiple TVs showing games as well as a trivia night, this place checks all the boxes for a laid-back, delicious, and sports-friendly hangout. Bonus surprise: They also have a movie theater with showtimes; didn't expect that at all, but very on-brand for a place that clearly wants you to stick around and have a good time. Would absolutely come back!

We were seated immediately and the restaurant was empty at the time. Our group has the Fries, Bluecrab dip, Bison Loin, and Chicken Alfredo. All were excellent. The fries were a large portion, thick cut, soft inside but extremely crispy on the outside and served hot and fresh. The crab did, we all but licked the bowl ;) The Bison was cooked to perfection, medium rare and tender. Even the Broccolini was perfect. Fries were great and steak was well prepared. Pricy at $42 but fine given location. Would order again. - Alpenglow signature salad ($22): Worst salad I've ever had. Don't get this. The dressing actually just taste like lightly vinegared water and the lettuce was soggy (how in the world do you pull this off?). They might be just not drying the salad and pulling it straight from the fridge. It was gross. Both of us were still hungry but couldn't punish ourselves into finishing it. Service: Service at the hotel has been fantastic so far -- everyone has been friendly and helpful, so the terrible service at Alpenglow was a big shock. There were only 2 other parties and yet somehow - server messed up our order and didn't apologize - we had to walk up to get order taken - we had to walk up to get bill after trying to get attention for 5 minutes, mostly because server was just chilling and hanging out with staff (there weren't many customers) - checked in on our meal zero times - got the bill wrong and didn't apologize. I had to flag it to them. Messing up the order AND the bill AND not apologizing is too much. This is a gorgeous 5 star hotel with wonderful staff all around, but restaurant experiences matter and 1 star service from them really detracts.

Service was a bit off throughout the night. We asked for a wine to be decanted and it didn't seem like the staff was familiar with that, which was surprising. Drinks also took quite a while to come out so much so that we placed another round when ordering just to avoid the wait. Interestingly, the food came out before the drinks. The food itself was just okay nothing that really stood out. Toward the end of the meal, we felt a bit rushed, almost like they were trying to wrap up early, even though we weren't there past closing time. Maybe it was an off night, but overall the experience didn't quite meet expectations.

Our recent visit in April 2025, provided a renewed experience with great service that pinpointed us to the items that are solid on the menu! We had the beet salad which was excellent due to its freshness. We also had the short ribs that came with mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The dish overall was great. The short ribs were tender. The side vegetables were good. We just wish for more Brussels sprouts. Plus a little less salt would have made it a perfect dish! Beyond the food, we appreciate the great service at the bar.
