This was not the case. They did administer the "laughing gas" but it didn't do anything to calm her down. Dr. Maggie Schaefer Gilpin then proceeded to tell my daughter that "she is too old to be acting this way". My daughter was very distraught and upset and the dentist refused to talk to me about the situation. Since that appointment I have tried calling the office twice to get a school excuse for her absence that day. The first time I asked that it be emailed, the second time I asked it be faxed. I STILL haven't received anything. I highly recommend looking anywhere else.

I was going to different dentist office and they kept wanting to redo fillings over and over again. I finally went for a 2nd opinion at Renken and the fillings I have are still great. I also have some TMJ issues that have gradually becoming worse and worse. Dr. Renken suggested botox at my last cleaning. I went for a consultation. While the price is a bit steep for the procedure, Dr. Renken listed to all of my concerns about my facial expressions being affected, side effects, the fact that the procedure is still new, etc... They were NOT pushy AT ALL about the procedure. We ultimately decided that I would try chiropractic methods for dealing with the TMJ before we decided to do the botox procedure.
