Beautiful vineyard . My friend and I really enjoyed it here . Johnny is very friendly and nice to talk to . There's a great vibe here . They even do a Mexico group trip to Valle De Guadalupe a few times a year . I'm thinking about taking it . It sounds really fun .

" Free Relaxing Summer Concert Series " Once again we visited the Schwaesdall Winery in Ramona Wine country this weekend and had a great relaxing day listening to a 3 hour Free concert by the Rhythm Express Band. At these Free concerts, customers may bring their own snacks to enjoy during the concert, or you can purchase a custom made fresh artisan home made pizza of your choice which is delivered by Kara. Kara is a Schwaesdall family member who is so friendly and nice, as she hustles all over the Winery taking orders, she helps making the orders, and she delivers orders. She is AWESOME ! The Winery also has many fine wines for purchase, as well as water and sodas that you can enjoy during the concert. It is really fun and cool to walk around the winery looking at all of the rustic antiques from Trucks, Statues, and Farm & Winery equipment hanging everywhere. Again these concerts are free public events and open to all ages. The concert is so relaxing, as you sit under the shade of beautiful large trees, at tables with umbrellas, as you listen to star entertainment performing on a large patio type stage, over looking the beautiful Schwaesdall Winery grape vineyards, and Ramona mountains. The Schwaesdall Winery has a Summer Free concert series, where bands, singers, and entertainers, visit the winery for about 3 hours to perform Free for the public. You can go to www.schwaesdallwinery.com to see the entire Summer Free Concert Series. This Sunday the Winery was excited to have " The Rhythm Express Band ", performing. The Rhythm Express band plays all over the San Diego County area. Rhythm Express Band plays such a wide variety of music genres and styles, from Swing through Contemporary Pop and everything in between. Their song list is extensive ! Nathan Fry & Janet Hammer are the main voices for the band with their strong and mellow singing of famous songs. Nathan's brilliant way he plays a lot of instruments on his keyboard is so amazing. It sounds like a full orchestra or band is playing. Together with Janet's Hammer's beautiful singing voice, they blend together for a strong and historical performance. The other " Rhythm Express Band " members were, on drums Roger Friend, and the electric guitar player with vocals, was Steve Nichols who were also very good. Another relaxing and strong performance by the Rhythm Express Band !

That said, the owner, Andy, was so gracious and welcoming that we genuinely want to see him succeed; it feels only right to spread the word. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We left with two bottles of wine--despite usually preferring reds, we couldn't pass up both the Albarino and the Sangiovese. One tip: double-check your route on Google Maps before heading over. Just a heads-up--it's not the dirt road!

There's a small, but comfortable area inside by a stone fireplace, as well as a nice deck in front offering the wonderful views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. They even have a cave, however it's not open to the public (at least as of our last visit). WINES: Andy (owner/winemaker) poured for us and provides good service and nice insight on his wines and vineyard. One tasting fee is waived with one bottle purchase, as Andy's motto is "We want to sell wines, not tastings". Chuparosa offers mostly Italian, French, and some Spanish varietals (Albariño, Grenache Gris, Mourvèdre/Grenache Rosè, Sangiovese, Cab Franc, and Zinfandel) and in my opinion they're all well-made, elegant wines, some of the best in the region. Chuparosa is a "must visit" winery when in the Ramona wine country.

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon
