I don't exactly go to car dealerships to make friends, but when you stumble into a dealership that's so outrageously shady, they deserve to be Yelped about. Simply put, everyone here is unfriendly, deceitful, and unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs. They all have attitude, which in their partial defense, they probably learned from some a$$hole middle manager in strategic marketing from Detroit. Their waiting room is pitiful, there is no service waiting area to speak of, and the intake repair guys at the counter are particularly vile and corrupt. I walked in with my daughter looking for a used car. The salesman immediately steered us to leasing a new car. When my daughter explained her reasons for not wanting to lease a car he basically told her that she was dumb and leasing was the way to go. We then restarted the conversation telling him that we had just this much to spend and could afford X amount on monthly payments. So he took us outside to the parking lot and showed us one car in our price range. We test drove it, liked it and then went back inside to talk more where the salesman without hesitation proceeded to pull out all kinds of paperwork on a brand new car that was way above our budget price. Either he was totally deaf or we were speaking a foreign language to this man. We left and will not be back to purchase a car from them. A word of advice to car salesman: LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND RESPOND TO THEIR NEEDS, NOT YOUR NEEDS. They do however have a very good service department and should we purchase a used Ford from somewhere else there will be no hesitation in bringing that car here for service. read more

Warranty you can believe in it but they sure don't not even on a 2 week old car coming off their lot. I have been doing business with Schultz Ford/Lincoln for nearly 30 years. I have always been a respected customer on the buying side as well service. I would recommend this dealership to my immediate family and my friends, countless cars sold to them. I even have family members come as far as Boston to buy their cars. I work in service/sales so I know both sides of the business. If you are fair, they will reciprocate. If you have an issue and you deal with it like a normal human being, they will listen. They are not in business to lose money and you want a fair deal, have the conversation. In all my years I never left feeling like I got ripped off (quite the contrary) and I do my homework going in so I am not disappointed. Haters hate and the rest of us end up with fair deals. I am a 58 year old member of the clergy who had been buying new cars for years and Schultz was, by far, the worst experience I ever had trying to purchase a car. Cal, the salesperson was great but Kevin, the manager, didn't seem to want to sell me a car. He didn't even sit down to talk to me but came in to Cal's cubicle, hunched over the desk and dismissed me without even trying to make a deal. I have numerous employees and am responsible for 1600 families in my congregation and if I had someone like that manager dealing with my people and heard of his behavior I would terminate him immediately. I felt bad for Cal who wanted to make a sale so I left for a Prestige Lexus in Ramsey to see if they were willing to make a deal for the only other car I was interested in and they offered me $2,200.00 more for my trade-in and $5000.00 off the sticker price. I feel bad for Mr. Schultz, the founder of the business, who's children now run it because I'm sure he wouldn't still be there if the business operated like it does now when he was around. I came here for a simple oil change at 5,000 miles on my new Ford Escape that I had leased elsewhere. I had made an appointment for 8am via the website. I let them know I would be waiting for my car and it still took them over an hour and half to do a simple 15 min oil change. I am now sitting here today with a full waiting room to have my car serviced as it seems to be having some transmission trouble. It's only a year old with 20,000 miles so it is still under warranty. I made an appointment two days ago via the website for 8am, their first available appointment this morning, and specified I would be waiting for my car. I get to the service department at 7:40am and after checking my car in I am told "you are not waiting for this right?" I explain to them that I am waiting because I have no other way to go anywhere. The guy tells me it will be about a 2-3 hour wait. So what is the point of making an appointment?! Here I am waiting, will update on the outcome later.... read more

This is hands down the worst dealership I have ever had to deal with. It's not even the actual area where you can purchase cars, it's their service department!! They couldn't give a rats ass if you have an appointment at 10am. They called me at 4pm and waited 6 hours with my car telling you they haven't even looked at it yet. That is absolutely absurd. I was told they were "backed up", I had an appointment in the morning and you couldn't possibly just found out at 4pm that you weren't going to get a chance at my car till Monday now. Not only that but they don't even offer you loaner cars in case something like this occurs. Never been a fan of the service department there. 125$ diag fee per item! However sometimes you need the dealer for certain repairs. Whilst getting heating system repaired decided to get my 30k maintenance schedule done. Everything seemed ok until I reviewed the bill in detail. I looked at the consumed parts list and charges to find no record of a fuel or air filter being used. This is a standard Ford 30k maintenance item for an F150. I called and was told: "oh we must have overlooked it. Bring it back". WTF? I'm there now waiting to see if they have the nerve to charge me anything. read more

I called the dealership from Connecticut. I spoke to a representative named Rose, explained that I was from CT and would really love to come in to test drive a certain truck. I asked if they had it in stock and if it was available to test drive. She said we have it, it's not sold and it's available for a test drive. She told me to ask for her when I arrived and she'll take care of me. I explained I would be driving from CT and it would take me about an hour to drive there. We agreed on a time. When I showed up, rose was no where to be found. The sales person I was speaking to said he'd have to ask the owner of the dealer if I could drive it because it was raining. Keep in mind I want to test drive a F-150... When he came back he told me the vehicle that I specifically asked to drive was sold 15 minutes prior to my arrival, a friend of the sales manager purchased it. They didn't offer to let me drive it nor would they help me locate a different one. read more

The worse experience I have ever had buying a new vehicle. I had to order a vehicle because they didn't have what I wanted on the lot. After ordering the vehicle I couldn't for the life of me get the salesman to call me back or answer my e-mails to try to get some sort of status update. Final my vehicle arrived at the dealer. "Damaged mind you" It was on the lot for an undisclosed amount of time and when I arrive, no one even knew the vehicle had been delivered. They went ahead and rushed to get it delivered to me the next day. Then came time to schedule an appointment to have the damage fixed. First and second attempt to have the repairs done they had no loner cars. Apparently the salesman never reserved a car. The Third attempt I got a loner car and the salesman told me that my vehicle would be done the same day well I knew that wasn't true, so a week later my vehicle was partially done. In the mean time they called me back to the dealer a few days after I dropped my vehicle off so that they could switch out my loner car because the one I had was reserved for someone else. I got the vehicle back and one of the two damaged items were address and repaired. Next thing is that the temporary license plate expired in 30 days it's now been 45 days and still no plates. I don't even want to go back the the dealer to get my plates. I pray and hope everyday that this vehicle never needs warranty service or worse that some thing breaks that I would need to take it back to the dealer for. read more

The service, if you can call it service, was so poor that we ended up pulling our truck out to take it elsewhere. When we did this they informed us that it wouldn't start and they had to charge the battery. It was 30 minutes just waiting for the keys. We ended up leaving without our truck. I don't normally do this but I have to say that the service department needs to work on their customer service skills. I schedule an appoint 2 days ago, drop the vehicle off before 7 am and then at 1:15 when I call them to check on the progress i am told they havent gotten a chance to look at my vehicle yet, knowing that I stated when I dropped it off I needed it back today. Not like the last 2 times I had the vehicle there and they kept it for multiple days. I ask to speak to the service manager because this is unacceptable, I get transferred to Joe who proceeds to tell me that other jobs ran late and with his staff he is doing the best he can, I say it sounds like you are overbooking your days, which he then says that if it is an A/C issue with my vehicle it probably wouldn't have been a 1 day job anyway. Really???? maybe if my vehicle was looked at in a timely manner we wouldn't have this issue. The end result was I told him to not bother doing anything because I am not leaving the vehicle for repair so no point in paying him $130 to diagnose the issue, which his response was that it is normally $200.... I work in the service industry and the fact that Joe is trying to justify the short comings of his department is just amazing. I will NEVER deal with Shultz Ford again.. Make sure you leave a few days open if you plan on dropping your vehicle off for service, it could take a while. read more

Craig Shultz and his team at Shultz Ford are the definition of sales professionalism. I personally do not enjoy the car buying experience as the whole process feels like a big run around. The experience at Shultz Ford is the opposite. Very straight forward, quick answers and no sales pressure at all. The salespeople are very knowledgeable about their product and the floor managers are out in the open to answer any addition questions that you may have. Service is a joke. Had my car here 3 times for the same problem. First time was told it was a loose connection. Cost $135. Problem reoccurred the next day. Brought it back was told the sensor in rear differential was bad. Not under warranty all told it was $1628. Had to wait just over a week for the part. While changing it they broke an ABS sensor. This was Friday and their service department isn't open on weekends. Wanted to either keep the car until Monday or give it back to me without ABS or traction control and have me bring it back a fourth time. Between misdiagnosing it the first time, not having parts in stock for a 2010 Taurus, or causing more damage while repairing it I have a very low opinion of their service department. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! 8 months ago my husband bought a certified pre-owned explorer from Schultz Ford. About 2 months ago it started to make a grinding noise while we were driving it and when we were on vacation we were told by our uncle to get it checked out. We were told by the place we took the car to that the car was leaking fluid and we had to get it refilled before we could drive home otherwise the gears in the rear differential would heat up and and cause major problems and that it wasn't safe to drive home. When we returned from our trip, we took the car to a different Ford dealership closer to home. They said that the rear differential needed to be replaced and that it was so damaged that it might have caused other damage to the car, but they wouldn't know that until they took it apart to replace the broken parts. But it was covered under warranty, so no problem. They kept the car while we waited for parts to be ordered. We received a call from the dealership a week later saying that there was water leaking from the car and the car must have been SUBMERGED UNDER WATER for a period of time for the water damage to be this extensive and because of that the work to repair the car WOULD NOT BE COVERED under warranty. Since in the 8 months since we have owned the car it HAS NEVER been exposed to water, other than rain. We went to Schultz Ford where we showed the head mechanic the report from the other ford dealership along with pictures taken of the water from the car. We were told that there was obviously a problem and that Schultz Ford would take care of fixing the car with no expense to us, give us a free rental, and pay for the cost of having the car towed from the one Ford dealership to theirs. OK Great. we leave and later on in the day we get a phone call from the Head Mechanic saying that earlier he didn't realize that we had had the car for 8 months and a report he "found" on the vehicle says that it passed their inspection so that there is no way that they would pay to fix the car. He went back on everything he had told us just hours before and basically said that WE were lying or must not noticed our car SUBMERGED IN WATER!!! Needless to say, we will be filing a lawsuit and telling everyone we know that Schultz Ford is selling LEMONS!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

terrible service dept unfortunately had to use them on a number of occasions as they are my local dealer every time they were either slow (very slow) or did not complete the work ordered, did not fix it on time, or stated they fixed it,only to have the same problem before i even left the lot; the service bay manger was rude and did not want to hear that they had made another mistake and they do not have loaners , even when they mess up and you are left stranded sales dept is not much better, its the kind of dealership that gives car salesmen a bad rep. You can usually get a better deal elsewhere , but if you are going to shop here get your price from other dealers first or this place will treat you like a mark at a carnival. heaven forbid you try to buy a limited production vehicle from this sham of a dealership they refuse to even give you the info you can pickup online (like msrp, order dates etc) in an attempt to rip you off when they are ready you will get treated much better at any other dealer in the area. knowledge is power do not walk into this place uninformed they will stick it to you read more
