Just to give you some perspective I have purchased two new vehicles from Schultz Ford over a period of 1/2 years. I have spent in excess o 75 k total for both. Please understand that this is not an indictment of any salesman on the floor but instead and indictment of dealer management. I am now in the market for a mid sized truck. I went back to the dealers web site thinking I was going to do business with them again. I saw three 2024 rangers on their web site all of which were very attractive to me. I also thought that being a 2024 it would be a better situation for a deal. On Jan 18th I inquired about one of the vehicles and at the same time requested them to send me the Window Sticker because the link was not working. The responses I received either said they were going to check with management or could not provide it to me directly. I addition I was invited to make an appointment by calling. Today I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. I walked the lot and found two of the three vehicles I was interested in. I went into the showroom and asked for help. To my surprise I was told that two of the trucks were awaiting parts for a safety recall and the third one was just sold. I did stay to begin the write up of a new truck. When I left I realized that this situation could have been viewed as a Bait and Switch situation. I feel this way because I was never told up front that the vehicles were never available. Especially with the two that were not available because of recall issues which were known well before my inquires. There was no indication on the web site that these vehicles were not available. I came in to get my car serviced nothing out of the ordinary just an oil change. I've just moved from Pennsylvania and thought this would be a simple fix to a simple problem. The staff were rude, arrogant and tried to charge me 3x for what a standard oil change should cost. Additionally, further speaking to the character of the employees and management, they were laughing about how they reportedly order $500 worth of pizza, and tip the delivery driver less than 10%. I know these are completely unrelated issues, but it speaks volumes of the character of the employees working here. If they can't be trusted to treat. Pizza delivery driver correctly, they certainly cannot be trusted with moral practices on vehicles. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Their service center is filled with the largest bunch of clinically dumb morons I've ever seen in my life. They have TWICE ordered the wrong part for my car and they have tried to play me so they can make more money. The first time they ordered the wrong part, I went straight to parts to tell them what part I needed (stone shield). They told me the part doesn't exist. I pointed to the part on a diagram (from the ford website) and they said "ohh, that's another part." I thought, Okay, maybe I'm wrong, they work here after all. I come back once it's in and it is OF COURSE the wrong part. I go talk to them again and they again try to mansplain the parts to me. I was like, "look, I know what I'm talking about, just order the part." They eventually did, and it was correct, but only after I pushed. This time, I take my car in because I could smell the fuel when it idles. It's obviously the exhaust gasket. They say the same thing and order the part. They tell me the part will be in the same day. Okay, I keep my phone on so they could call, but it was then the afternoon and they hadn't called, so I called them and they said it wouldn't be in until Monday. I'm very annoyed at this point because I had to travel on Monday, but they make an 8am appointment so I'm thinking, It's fine, I won't be too far behind schedule. I get there at 8, wait two hours, and then they come into the waiting room and said they ordered the wrong part and had to drive to Connecticut to get it. It takes hours for them to get the job done. How can people who work for Ford not know Ford parts???? This is mind boggling to me. I wouldn't have come back but my car is under warranty and the parts get replaced for free under the warranty. Other than that, they've lied about rotors and brake pads, etc. I'm not dumb, I know what a warped rotor feels like, and I've told them that. I am never going back to Schultz. I will literally go out of my way to go to another Ford so I don't have to deal with these idiots again. Never go here. read more

Went to dealer with warranty issue. My claim and issue were treated dismissively by the Service rep with no explanation why. I was told to contact Ford customer service. So helpful. Bottom line I spoke with Ford customer service who were baffled at the treatment and directed me to another dealer where my issue was successfully resolved in a professional manner. If I could give 0 stars, I would (even that would be generous). Very dissappointed with all levels of service from this dealership. Took my Mustang in pristine condition to get an oil change at this dealership. After the service, I noticed the car was deeply visibly dented and the vinyl wrap was ripped, exposing and scratching the paint underneath. I told the staff while I was still there and they would not own up to the damage or give me any clear answers. One staff member said grease/oil was spilled on the car and the car was sent through the wash. I was disappointed to hear about this as I take care of my vinyl wrap and do not entrust the washing of my cars to others, to keep it in prstine condition. Their wash left greasy streaks all over matte the wrap and so much water INSIDE of the car. They redirected me through countless other people and eventually the owner, Traci Schultz Brega. Very rude and arrogant woman, cares only about her dealership's bottom line and not the property of others. She refused to assist in any way and only nasty words came out of her mouth. She refused to show the videos from the camera at first and would not try to resolve the issue at all. When we did see the video, it is clear that there was no damage to the car when it was dropped off, meaning that the damage happened while it was being serviced at the dealership. The OWNER of the dealership said that there were no cameras in the car washing area, very convinient for them. Another staff member clarified that they actually do have a camera in there. It's very convenient that the surveillance cameras, that they installed for surveillance, do not have the resolution to solve any problems. Also, they don't put cameras in all areas of the shop, like the car wash or ends of the parking lot. In the end, they still will not admit to the mistake and will not fix the damage that they caused. They also refuse to show any footage from the cameras that would help solve the situation. If you love your car and value keeping it in good condition, take it somewhere else. I thought a FORD dealership would take the best care of my FORD car, but they could care less. The don't care about keeping customers. You would think the OWNER of the Ford dealership would try their best to help customers, but I guess not Traci Schultz Brega. read more

I bring my Ford Edge to Schultz for oil changes. They are all professional and do a good job. My only complaint is the lack of warmth from anyone working there - they all seem very unhappy and cold. Don't get me wrong, it isn't enough to make me not use them for their business, but they all need a course in customer service. I only point this out because during the pandemic, I brought my car to another dealership in NJ and it was like night-and-day difference. I only use this dealership because it's more convenient for me after work. Otherwise, it would be unlikely that I would use them. About three years ago my previous Ford Edge had a major issue and it would take a day to repair it. I asked for a loaner car and they basically laughed in my face. "We don't do loaner cars", was the reply. I needed a car to get to Orangeburg for work, and ended up using an Uber/Lyft to get to work after I dropped off my car and Uber/Lyft for getting back to the dealership after work. Mind you, it's the middle of the week, at least four heavily Brylcreemed poly-rayon sales geeks are standing around a white LTD admiring their chest hair and not one could break away from their after-shave scrimmage long enough to bother asking me what the hell I was doing there. Finally, the alpha geek walks over and instead of saying something benign like "may I help you" takes one of the biggest dumps in sales history... "Son, will your father be in soon?" More than a little embarrassed, I managed to bleat out something like... "Well my dad's not paying for the car and if he were, I'd make sure he didn't buy it here." Where to begin with the horrible service this Elmsford NY service center provided. To start, just a heads up if your car plans on braking try and see into the future and schedule a loaner 5 weeks in advance because that's the earliest they have for you. So brought my car into the service center and spoke with a representative named Anthony, now Anthony spoke a good game but ended up just becoming a nightmare with updates and even just getting on the phone with, would call then be put on hold then hung up on or forgotten about. Mind you during all this they had my car for over 3 weeks and would not give me updates on anything, finally after a calling customer support over and over my case got escalated to a Region Manager named Kevin. Now Kevin was a nice guy for the most part he would get me updates because the Service center workers wouldn't give them to me. After about 2 weeks I finally got a call from Anthony for an update only for him to try and squeeze in the idea of me buying 4 brand new tires for a tire pressure light issue and of course the funny part is that it is obviously not covered under warranty, such a scam move. This place is a joke and I strongly advise everyone to just avoid Volkswagen as a company all together they clearly don't care about the customers and it seems like they don't plan on changing. And any good review anybody reads on this about this service center consider yourself lucky because It seems like the only consistent product produced is horrible disrespectful service and customer service. Their service department has the most awful customer service. The "could care less attitude" from the associates is mind boggling. It's as if you are doing them a favor by coming to their location. I was so turned off by the lack of service I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. They need need to take a course in customer service. Just awful. 1/22/2023 Update I contacted the management of Schultz Lincoln regarding the terrible experience I had on 1/10/2023. I got an almost immediate response and within a short time after that was contacted to arrange for a loaner car to be dropped off at my home and my car to be picked up the next day. The loaner was dropped off at 9AM the next day and my car was at the dealer shortly thereafter ready for diagnosing. Later that day I was told they would most likely have the car a week or 2 based on what they assessed. Within a week it was repaired and returned. I could not have asked for a better experience. It's a shame the awful experience I encountered the first time around forced me to give such a horrible review. My faith in the service provided by Schultz has been completely restored based on their response to my compliant. Kudos to them for taking such things so seriously. A rarity these days. read more

They were very responsive and professional in answering questions about the Ford Mustang Mach E. Maria was the only salesperson among the 8-10 dealerships we contacted in the New York and New Jersey area who told me about the Ford Xplan discount for employees of partner companies which resulted in an additional $800 in savings. She took time to follow up and help clear up some confusion about the Ford ballon financing plan and Kevin and Steve were excellent at explaining and very promptly responding to our questions. read more

Got in touch with dealer, and the F&I manager and Owner of Dealership both reimbursed me for the cost of my service (which should have been warranty but wasn't as outlined below), and gave me the warranty I paid for. You can't ask for more than that! Situation resolved. Thank you very much Matt! I love my truck, but it turns out that Schultz Ford did NOT file my Ford certified preowned extended warranty that I purchased with them, with FORD corporate. Soooo...I paid $1000 for an extended warranty, that doesn't exist any where in Ford's warranty system. It is on my buyers order and I paid for it. Multiple emails/calls to the sale person produced nothing. Sure enough, my truck needed an $1400 repair a few months ago, and I had to pay for it out of my pocket. I am not sure if I am more annoyed over the lack of warranty, the lack of response, or the fact that my truck needed a pretty major repair within 6 months of delivery. Terrible after sales service. Defective tire on a brand new care which they refused to help me with two months after purchase. I dealt with Pirelli directly and they replaced the tire for me. I set up an appointment online to bring my car in for service. Email reply said someone from service would contact me to confirm. Nobody contacted me for three days and I eventually called the day before to confirm myself. No record of my making the appt, no help with confirming the appt. I went in anyway and they had no idea why I was there. Said I would need to leave my car there all day while they figured something out. Terrible terrible service. read more

Horrific experience with the parts department. On Oct 25, 2019 i purchased 2 batteries for one of my trucks. These batteries came with a 2 year full replacement and a 3 year pro rated warranty. On January 13, 2022 i needed to replace the batteries as they got weak. Went to Schultz and bought 2 new batteries and told them i would be back with the old ones. When i contacted Schultz about bringing back the old batteries, they said there was no warranty. There reason for declining the pro rated warranty was because i got a $9.00 discount on the batteries when i bought them in 2019. I just recently was looking to purchase a vehicle and I happened to look at the Ford edge online and wanted to see more. Schultz Ford was great. The experience couldn't of been any easier for me I was able to get into a vehicle test drive it by myself due to Covid and have all of my questions answered by my sales person Gina who was amazing! She made what would normally be a dreaded experience that would take multiple hours back-and-forth trying to haggle over the price very simple. She answered every question I had regarding the features of the vehicle with expert knowledge and she provided me with an offer that was very fair but also took into account my time as well. The dealership was very clean and all the staff were very professional and friendly. Needless to say after about 1.5 hours of being in the dealership and 15 mins of paperwork I'm taking home my new Ford Edge. Gina thanks so much for everything!
