I liked the advise I got when I asked them about remote starters and LED headlight bulbs. I will defiantly be coming back for other equipment. When you do come in Jana and Jose whose one of the techs were amazing. What I did like was that I was greeted by Jana by name and before any work was started I was shown and told how the job will be done so its clearer to me. Defiantly if in the market for dash cams, car audio or any job come to this shop and they will take care of you.

I called a week in advance and told them I'd be coming in Monday morning to get sound deadening installed in the front doors and wheel wells of my station wagon. I even told them I already had the materials. They said "come in at 9." Simple enough. I took time off work and drove from midtown Manhattan all the way to their shop near Fordham University. I arrived at 9am -- their posted opening time -- only to watch the staff stroll in around 9:20. Then I had to wait while they dealt with a customer whose Bluetooth they'd installed incorrectly. When I finally spoke to the manager, I showed him the parts, explained the job, got a quote, and headed back to my office -- another $60 cab ride -- trusting they'd do what they said they could do. Ninety minutes later, they called to say they couldn't remove my tires because they were "on too tight." They didn't have the proper power tool to remove them. A mobile audio shop that can't remove wheels for a job they agreed to do. I asked if they could find a tool somewhere. They couldn't. I asked if they could at least do the front doors -- the part that didn't require touching the wheels. They said no, because they "already had other cars" and mine was now sitting in the street. So I took another $60 Uber back to pick up my untouched car. $120 in transportation, half a day of work lost, and absolutely nothing to show for it. They didn't even bother to do the portion of the job they could have done. I'm sure they have a couple of things they do well, but the devil‑may‑care attitude, the lack of basic tools, and the complete disregard for my time means I won't be returning. If you value professionalism, reliability, or even the slightest respect for your schedule, look elsewhere.

I've spent tens of thousands (ASE master certified mechanic) with Miele, until they changed hands. Twice. It was Auto Plus for a while, now it's FactoryMotorParts or some horsefeathers. They don't stock, and cannot easily get, common parts. You think them boys were rude before? Yikes. They won't honor warranties from any of the previous business names either. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go to Advance or Autozone. Better yet, online with Rock Auto. For specialty stuff deal with Carquest/P&A in Park Ridge. Just don't go to the dead corpse of "Mieleap" .... Seriously. Don't.

Instead, Scott misdiagnosed the issue and performed an unnecessary repair that ultimately caused additional damage to my car. Within 24 hours of leaving the service, all of the oil had leaked out due to an incorrectly installed part. As a result, I had to take my car to another mechanic, who was able to properly diagnose and fix the problem--something Scott was unable to do. When I contacted Scott to explain the situation and request a refund, he initially refused. After pressing the issue, he said he would "get back to me," but never did. I made multiple attempts to reach him via phone and text, all of which were ignored. I have still not received a refund and am now pursuing further action to address the damages caused. This was an extremely frustrating and costly experience. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
