    The worst service ever. No tools to help in changing a battery, had to by my own. Then the guy couldn't help with checking alternator.

I all ways just drive in there and say this car (2016 Ford Focus down the street from the Ford Dealership kinda) needs fixing! I get a little warning that it may take some time if you wait, BUT competitive prices with discount coupons is the order of the day. Now sometimes, 3 days later, its like why did this happen again? The result? oh we will look at it and fix it, must of missed it, because when you walk in -- Mavis Discount Tire Nanuet actually work on appointments. So hey we fixed the flat but you need brake pads (indeed i did), we fixed the flat but you need all four new tires (Indeed I did). We will take a 3 day later, closer look why the tire sensor went off again, oh and you need new shock absorbers the current 2016, 8 year old original shocks need replacing they are leaking (Indeed I did). I drive this car 70 miles a day RT #Brooklyn NYC on the FDR. This coming weekend I will be happy motoring to the Cape and Islands, MA truly w/o doubt, worry or fear thanks to this team at Mavis Discount Tire! Highly recommend. I don't have / need any insurance at all, not even car collision. But when it came time for four new tires last Oct. 2023, I DID GET the tire insurance and you should too! all those three slow leak flat tires repairs were free! I am worth any additional cost. Shop around!

    Just to give you some perspective I have purchased two new vehicles from Schultz Ford over a period…read moreof 1/2 years. I have spent in excess o 75 k total for both. Please understand that this is not an indictment of any salesman on the floor but instead and indictment of dealer management. I am now in the market for a mid sized truck. I went back to the dealers web site thinking I was going to do business with them again. I saw three 2024 rangers on their web site all of which were very attractive to me. I also thought that being a 2024 it would be a better situation for a deal. On Jan 18th I inquired about one of the vehicles and at the same time requested them to send me the Window Sticker because the link was not working. The responses I received either said they were going to check with management or could not provide it to me directly. I addition I was invited to make an appointment by calling. Today I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. I walked the lot and found two of the three vehicles I was interested in. I went into the showroom and asked for help. To my surprise I was told that two of the trucks were awaiting parts for a safety recall and the third one was just sold. I did stay to begin the write up of a new truck. When I left I realized that this situation could have been viewed as a Bait and Switch situation. I feel this way because I was never told up front that the vehicles were never available. Especially with the two that were not available because of recall issues which were known well before my inquires. There was no indication on the web site that these vehicles were not available. I feel I might have been mis led into thinking that I had an opportunity to purchase one of those vehicles.

To my surprise he is a mobile car repair business and I set up an appointment to have Scott come to my house and repair my braking issue. Not only is scott incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but he was a genuinely good person. He answered all my questions and made It his mission to get me the best prices on parts. It's very rare do you find somebody that cares about their customers as much as Scott. He has made a lifetime customer! Highly recommended!

    I strongly urge anyone considering Nanuet Auto Service to look elsewhere…read more I brought my vehicle here when my usual mechanic was unavailable, expecting a straightforward, minor repair. Instead, Scott misdiagnosed the issue and performed an unnecessary repair that ultimately caused additional damage to my car. Within 24 hours of leaving the service, all of the oil had leaked out due to an incorrectly installed part. As a result, I had to take my car to another mechanic, who was able to properly diagnose and fix the problem--something Scott was unable to do. When I contacted Scott to explain the situation and request a refund, he initially refused. After pressing the issue, he said he would "get back to me," but never did. I made multiple attempts to reach him via phone and text, all of which were ignored. I have still not received a refund and am now pursuing further action to address the damages caused. This was an extremely frustrating and costly experience. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
