Unfortunately when dealing with a 40 year old vehicle, many parts are discontinued - so you have to get the best supplemental version. Mike seamlessly did the impossible. When one part on my car broke, instead of just repairing it and charging me, he took the time to call the dealership to see if there were any recalls. It turned out the part was covered under a recall, which ended up saving me several thousand dollars! Mike always takes the time to explain what's going on, never pressures you into unnecessary repairs, and wants to help. He cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Mike. He's kept my Honda running great for years, and I'm grateful to have found someone so dependable.

Not only is scott incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but he was a genuinely good person. He answered all my questions and made It his mission to get me the best prices on parts. It's very rare do you find somebody that cares about their customers as much as Scott. He has made a lifetime customer! Highly recommended!

I strongly urge anyone considering Nanuet Auto Service to look elsewhere…read more I brought my vehicle here when my usual mechanic was unavailable, expecting a straightforward, minor repair. Instead, Scott misdiagnosed the issue and performed an unnecessary repair that ultimately caused additional damage to my car. Within 24 hours of leaving the service, all of the oil had leaked out due to an incorrectly installed part. As a result, I had to take my car to another mechanic, who was able to properly diagnose and fix the problem--something Scott was unable to do. When I contacted Scott to explain the situation and request a refund, he initially refused. After pressing the issue, he said he would "get back to me," but never did. I made multiple attempts to reach him via phone and text, all of which were ignored. I have still not received a refund and am now pursuing further action to address the damages caused. This was an extremely frustrating and costly experience. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

SCAM!! Do not go here! I purchased a tire from this place…read morefive weeks ago and had a tear in the brand new tire. When I brought it to them, the assistant manager Tazjon Brinkley was there and informed me there was nothing they could do, even though clearly they gave me a defective tire. He called the store manager Erik and also said there's nothing they could do nor could they provide a discount to purchase a new tire. The customer service here is disgusting. Mind you I came in with the tear on my tire and they took it to the back and when they brought it back to me, another hole appeared. This place is not to be trusted!
