This place is the best! Always take great care of us especially Gabe. Highly recommend for all your automotive needs!! Lisa B

I bought new tires (from Golan)and wheels for my corvette. Had to get road rash repair on a wheel and never thought about them having to rebalance tire, the place that did it used subpar stick-on weights that came off. I brought car this morning to Golan and rebalanced wheel for nothing. Makes you feel good dealing with a reputable shop like Tire and Wheel Performance read more

Tire & Wheel Performance Center - Tires Near Me - Ridgewood, New Jersey

Felt compelled to write a review. Had a nail in my tire, and would normally take it to other shops in the area. However, decided to give these guys a try, and wow, what a difference! Friendly, professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. They are focused on resolving the issue, instead of padding the bill. Rare. read more

We always go here to fix our tires. They're honest and fair. Highly recommend. We have brought our Lexus and Teslas here. They are the only shop that we found to fix the Tesla tire. read more

Arrived with a sad face, left with a happy face. Scott at Tire & Wheel Performance Center has been my go to for everything tires during the last 30+ years. My car was towed due to a flat; I suspected I would need a new tire. Thankfully Scott in his usual honest and knowledgeable way of doing business was able to repair the tire perfectly. Scott is a dependable, reliable professional. I drove onto Route 17 with full confidence. Thank you Scott! read more

Professional team. I've been using this shop for years. Yes a little more expensive than pep boys or similar chains but...it only takes one visit as the work is done with highest possible quality. Highly recommended! read more

Tire and Wheel Performance Center exceeded my expectations. I brought in my car for a suspension upgrade and performance-based alignment. Golam and his team did an outstanding job. They installed the suspension components and dialed in the alignment specs perfectly to optimize handling and performance. Their technical knowledge and attention to detail are exceptional. Golam took the time to understand my specific needs and delivered results that transformed my vehicle's driving dynamics. If you need a shop that knows performance vehicles, I highly recommend Tire and Wheel Performance Center. read more

Scott has professional knowledge and you won't get ripped off...I have been going this place for last 10 years...fast prompt service

If you need new tires, or are considering changing tire sizes, Scott and Golam have decades of experience in this area and are happy to educate you. New tires are expensive and you do not want to make a mistake. If you email them, they email you back. If you call them, they call you back. The shop and its people are very friendly, no attitude, and willing to answer all your questions. If you need something, they tell you, but more importantly, if your do not need something, they will tell you, and therefore save you money. The price I was quoted included everything - mounting, balancing, etc. You are also getting expert advice and the highest degree of technical competency. Scott is a true subject matter expert and old timer like me, but moves with the energy and intent of a young guy. Golam is a young guy who is smart, talented, customer focused, and wants to keep building the business and his career. What more could you want ? Rich read more

The guys here are truly amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and very helpful. My low tire pressure alert came on, stopped here just to ask if they can check my tire pressure. Not only did they check my pressure, but located 2 nails in my tire which ultimately saved my tire....all while doing it with a smile. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

I purchased a set of tires from an online retailer for my Tesla. I last visited this place in 2011 and was hoping it was still around. I came in with my car during the afternoon and had to wait a bit, but they did an excellent job. Perfectly installed (no damage, not even a scuff or nick). Excellent balancing job. Then they put in the old tires back in my car and wrapped them exactly the way they found the new ones. These guys are experts at what they do and care about each customer vehicle, which is rare these days. Highly recommended whether it's a daily driver or your prized garage queen. read more

I have to say that all the positive reviews about Tire & Wheel, along with the shout outs about the staff are ALL WARRANTED! Every single comment I can second or 102nd. : ) I had the pleasure of working with Golam who is professional, kind, respectful, listens, and above all experienced and spot on in evaluation, recommendation and perfect work. I'll save you the long awful story dealing with the Car Dealer, Dealer's Service team, a second Car Dealer Service team, a third individual mechanic, Car Manufacturer and Tire Manufacturer who all treated me with varying levels of, "I don't feel it, That's how they all are, commercially acceptable vibration and just live with it." Not Golam or Tire & Wheel! He was immediate and as I stated earlier precisely found and fixed the issue to near perfection. The only thing missing was cooperation from the horrible OEM tires - i.e. they were from dealer out of round. Additionally, Golam extended himself offering to support a call from the Tire Manufacturer as I fight to get new tires. In my short 30 days of owning this 2024 car, Golam and this team stand far above anyone else. read more

I have been here on multiple occasions and have been met with outstanding service and professionalism each time. I rarely leave reviews for any business, but I firmly believe this place deserves a positive one. I will not be going anywhere else to get tires. read more

Today I was impressed with ZERO dollar service. It cost me nothing - despite the work Scott and his team did. THAT shows integrity. A day earlier my flat tire was determined by Mavis Tire to have a damaged sidewall, and required replacement for a virtually new tire - a $180 expense. Scott and his technicians at Performance Tire and Wheel inspected my tires and determined, there is no damage. He had no idea why someone would replace this tire. They pulled my car out, taught me a trick about the tire pressure monitoring system and refused a $20 tip. So where ya gonna go for tires? I know where I'm headed read more

Great service and communication. Dropped of wheels and tires, was called when they were ready. It was raining so they kept it inside till I arrived. Wheels were dropped off mint, and was the same condition after the mount and balance. Will use them again. Tip: store front was redone and different than the yelp picture, it comes up fast when you are driving down rte17s read more

So grateful I found Tire&Wheel from a local friend. I have had several tire issues over the years with a luxury SUV and couldn't bring myself to go back to the dealer. Golam was able to fix my tire that was previously patched incorrectly- and he did it quickly, kindly and professionally. He also graciously checked all my tires and added air to all! THANK YOU!! Been living in the area for too long that I wish I knew about this gem earlier! read more

They saved my life! I was riding on 17 and all of a sudden my tire pressure gauge went off. I pulled in hoping to get some air in my tires and lo and behold. He pointed to a piece of metal sticking out of one of the tires. They took me in right away and 10 minutes later I was on my way. These guys are the greatest. read more

Been here several times to change tires, swapping up to all four on my car. The owner is super fair, straight shooter and won't do work that you don't need. You can trust these guys! read more

I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. The mechanic Golam has taken care of my vehicles for years and is the only one I trust to go to. Top quality workmanship, always upfront and honest, there is no bs and you always leave knowing you got the best quality service your money can buy. read more

Just wanted to say what pros Scott and his team are. Not only do they have the whole tire thing down, but they also know their way around the technology needed to reset the air pressure sensors, since these newer cars are really computers with wheels on them. Prices are very fair and turnaround is fast. Couldn't be happier or more enthusiastic about recommending this place. read more

I guess that most tire/wheel places do a good enough job but when you're looking for a bit more, this is your go to shop. Matter of fact, I would never trust my forged alloy rims to anyone else. Their work is absolutely impeccable as is the demeanor of their staff. Friendly and incredibly informative, these guys are the experts. The interesting thing is that all of this quality and outstanding service can be had for just about the same or even less than you'd pay elsewhere. I guess if you have a truck or maybe an inexpensive car you can go wherever you want. But those of us who know quality and agonize over whether our expensive rims are going to get scratched when having a tires changed or if there might be a slight shimmy when approaching the outer limits of performance, these are the guys to use. For me, peace of mind is on par with quality and for the 20+ years I've been using them, they've yet to disappoint. I would trust them with your most precious rims and rely upon their recommendations on any product they offer. Oh, did I mention that I work for BMW? read more

I had to mount some tires on my winter set of wheels, gave these guys a call and super responsive great work and great price.

Kind, honest, and reliable. Quick service from your local tire place. They were great.. hope I don't have to come back, but I'd be happy to recommend them to someone I know! read more

My battery died at the gas station next door to their business. I was on my way to an appointment, and didn't want to have to wait for someone to drive over to jump start my battery, which would have made me very late. I walked over to their business, and asked if they could jump start my battery. They came right over, got my car started and wouldn't accept any money from me for doing it. I really appreciated their great attitude and willingness to help me out! read more

This morning I got a flat tire on Route 17 on my way to a doc appointment. I pulled over to Tire Wheel Performance Center in Ridgewood. Ridgewood moms Facebook group turned me into this place and I'm so glad they did. I don't know the first thing about cars or tires. Scott was friendly and knowledgeable and I didn't feel like he was trying to oversell me. I very clearly needed 4 new tires and an alignment but he assured me he would check to see if I really did before making any changes. They had pretty good prices- comparable to Costco- and alignment which my Costco doesn't have so it was one visit and done. Highly recommend. read more

My wheel starting feel as if it was coming off as I was dropping my husband off to the hospital for surgery. I managed to drop him off and make it to Tire and Wheel by the skin of my teeth. They took me in right away and noticed my front wheel was missing a lug nut and that the whole wheel was loose. They fixed it and filled all my airs with tires. When I asked the cost, he told me don't worry about it! I was in an emergency and they so easily could have taken advantage of the situation. I didn't know places like this still exist. I live 20 minutes away and I will drive there just for the customer service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making a very stressful day a little bit easier. read more

This is seriously the best place you can choose for anything related to tires and/or wheels. They always get better prices than anything you will find online and you don't have to spend hours searching because they know what they are talking about. Tire & Wheel Performance Center - Tires Near Me - Ridgewood, New Jersey

I work near this place and brought my car to have a flat checked. Repaired it AND rotated my tires for FREE! I was completely impressed by the customer service. I was told my tires only had a few thousand more miles left before they needed to be replaced...which I thought was a set up. It wasn't though! He only does tires and I needed my brakes looked at and they told me the same thing about the tires. Seeing that someone patched and rotated my tires for free, I felt he should get first crack at the business. I looked on the net, got some prices, went to him and he was able to give me a better deal....SOLD! This is the only place you should go to for tires! read more

They are the best!!! They are also honest and fast. We have been told twice by the car dealership we needed some services on two different cars. And we decided to bring them to tire and wheel, they told us the services were not necessary until a much later time. First it was the brake, the dealer told us we needed new breaks blah blah blah and would cost us $400-500. We brought the car here and they told us the brake was fine for quite some time. Then the second car, we were told we need alignment and tire rotations, $200. Again tire and wheel told us the alignment is fine and we just need to bring it back 4 months later. They are really good and we will always come back. read more

Brought my 2018 audi s4 to get the wheels balanced because of a slight vibration problem. When they took my wheels off, they found a centering ring from my winter setup still on the hub. So my vibration problem was not a balance issue. They cut right to the chase, took the centering ring off (which took a hammer and screwdriver to chisel off) and got my wheels back on as good as new. Best of all, he sent me on my way free of charge since there was no balancing to be done. Very honest work here. I visited this place based on the reviews on yelp. The reviews don't lie. read more

I've had horrible luck with tires this year and this is hands down the best tire place I've gone to. Luckily this time around, it was just a screw. I expected to spend my entire lunch break waiting for my tire to get fixed but instead they took maybe 20 minutes (probably not even that). They also inflated the other 3 tires in addition to the one they patched. I paid less than $20 as well. Service was friendly and super efficient. So glad I found this place on Yelp- they're awesome! read more
