After…read morea very frustrating experience elsewhere, this shop was a complete turnaround in every possible way. From the first conversation, they took the time to listen to the full history of the vehicle instead of brushing it off or rushing to conclusions. I explained what had happened during a recent dealership visit, including the sudden appearance of multiple fault codes and the fact that a PCM software update had been identified but not performed. They were easy to talk to, cooperative, and genuinely engaged in understanding the situation. Shout out to Kevin, who was especially great to work with. He actually listened, explained what they were seeing, and treated my concerns seriously instead of dismissing them. That alone made a huge difference after everything I had dealt with previously. What stood out immediately was their transparency. They openly said they did not understand why the PCM update would not have been done while the vehicle was already connected for diagnostics, which was incredibly validating. They were also able to get me in the same day, which I did not expect. Throughout the process, I received multiple text updates that included images of scan data and clear proof of what was being checked and updated. That level of communication and documentation made it obvious they care about doing things the right way. No attitude, no defensiveness, and no pressure. Just clear explanations, cooperation, and professionalism. After dealing with poor communication and rushed explanations elsewhere, the contrast was night and day. Louisburg Garage treated me like a person, not a number, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants honest diagnostics and real communication.

All three parties dealt with this. All are trustworthy and told me it needed a minor repair like a muffler. Big A Auto told me the entire under area of car had been messed up from someone who didn't know what they were doing. He said it'd be $2,000 to fix it. At the time I thought maybe the college driver had let someone work on it so I paid it. My mistake as I didn't take time to think it thru. I know the folks I bought it from were honest and long time friends. Big A lied. They showed me of a fuzzy gray video t was supposed to be the problem area but of course it meant nothing to me and was just part of the deception. I will never go back to Big A again. Since I am an older woman needing the service I think they felt they could lie to me about the car.
