Apparently bars in Bend can designate a smoking area in the normal establishment area. People were chain smoking in the patio, including some of the staff. I am not from Bend and I forgot how unpleasant this was. The ketchup served with fries is flavored line currywurst, which I didn't really like. I would return and recommend but probably sit inside to avoid the smokers.

You can really tell the difference in quality too when eating here, as they get all of their meats from a specialty Bavarian meat distributer...anyways they have a lineup of mustards a mile long that are also crafted by another specialty shop, too. The fries were great as well and the pretzel was massive, although a bit dry in the middle. Their outdoor seating has heaters above to keep all the seats in the house available even when it gets chilly. I ordered 10 pounds of assorted sausage from them back on June 28th through a marketing website and received a confirmation that they would notify me when they ship, and it was listed as "Express" for the shipping Flash forward to July 25th (just 3 days shy of a month later) while out of town for my daughter's wedding they decided to have the sausage delivered. The "feels like" on the day was discovered was 116, and the day before that, when it was delivered, was even hotter. My cat watcher noticed the package on a Saturday and when she brought it in and opened it the sausages were warm and slimy and placed the whole box outside in my garage. The order was delivered on Friday morning and sat outside all day in this heat, and part of Saturday. My garage stunk as the cat watcher did not want to smell up the house or fridge. We never received any tracking or any communication at all from anyone at We're the Wurst to notify us that there would be a HUGE delay in shipping, or that the item shipped. Had he have notified us that they were going to ship or shipped the package, we could have asked them to hold until we got back, or had a neighbor bring the box in. I emailed them and his reply was "it's not his fault what happens once the package arrives at my house," and his only mistake was not updating us with tracking. That is a HUGE mistake and the only reason this sausage wound up in the garbage. How can you ship out perishable goods a month after the fact and not notify anyone? I am battling this currently with my CC and the market place I ordered it from as he is currently ghosting me and not replying to any emails.

I've been doing the Bend Ale Trail slowly over the last few years and remembered visiting Worthy's…read moredowntown pub for a couple beers and pizza previously. I was unprepared then for their gigantic and amazing main brewery. The industrial building is mostly hidden my verdant gardens and local art outside. It's so happy and welcoming. Inside you can immediately see the tanks at the back, with a large bar to the left. Merchandise shop is at the front, with tables all around. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming. I talked to some brewers after their shift and they were just as friendly, albeit tired and ready to relax. Their beers are excellent, and I only wished I could've physically enjoyed more! I highly recommend a visit!

The poutine has a very good gravy now normally people slap any kind of gravy on and call it a day and for me a sub standard gravy will absolutely ruin the french fries. Luckily, the person working, there was super nice, and when I asked him his personal opinion on it, he ran back, grabbed a few french fries and a little bit of gravy to give us a try super cool Also, they got really good beer, selection, and sours and other fun things like that. This is one of the few places that I've had such unique over the top original kind of drinks. We don't get that vibe in Redmond. In Bend we used to get a little bowl of bread Cubes and a small sampler dish of their homemade chimichurri that they were so proud of, and we loved. They don't do that in Redmond, not sure if they still do so in Bend... I think we've given Redmond 3 chances but staff are pretty indifferent, and the food doesn't wow us anymore. The brats and bangers are still good, but we feel it's not totally worth the prices anymore. Last time we were in Redmond location the women's restroom was out of tp. I told the staff twice and they were not busy, scrolling on their phones in between customers and they never re-stocked the to in the restroom.
