Parking is ridiculous. And nothing open at restaurant across street either. Need that fixed or when the allure wears off so will the business. Maybe inside good but won't know. read more

First visit yesterday, arrived at 4;30 place was busy for a Friday afternoon. Are friends joined us few minutes later. Looking over menu was disappointed that didn't have a hamburger my wife doesn't like lamb. We ( both) couples ordered cheese boards and pretzels. Was disappointed in selected of cheeses, ham was good and stuffed pepper (1) . Pretzel was nice size (not as big as what I was served in Germany) The melted cheese over pretzel was tasty. My bock beer was a little light in taste.. Needs music back ground . Server Danielle very pleasant always smiling. read more

We had a party of 12 on a Saturday afternoon (4:30). We got a table quickly and we were served right away. Our server was great and handled our big party with ease. Our food was good and it came out relatively fast. Really good beer, too! The decor and style of this brewpub was top notch..... However, I only gave it three stars due to the parking situation. I read the reviews complaining about the parking and I figured we shouldn't have a problem due to our early evening arrival. I was wrong. The lot is not only small, most of it is a muddy mess, riddled by big puddles. I'm sure their cleaning staff loves cleaning up the mud people track in. I didn't appreciate the mud I tracked into my clean car when I left. Did I mention that the city of Parma has put up no parking signs on the side street? They built a nice restaurant but didn't plan well for a parking lot. read more

A great experience! We initially came here when they first opened and they were still getting set up so had a limited food menu. We came this time and it was even better! They have a full beer list and wine/cocktails now. They have a full food menu with daily and weekly specials too. And dessert! A one stop shop. Very clean and attentive staff. The patio is now open too. They now have a paved parking lot so parking situation is very easy. We will be back! read more

This place is a gem! Delicious food and the interior space is really amazing. Love their beer. Parking can be challenging but you can go right across the street. Well worth it. Can't wait to go back read more

My son and recently had lunch here and we have only great things to say! Starting with our server, Samantha. She was friendly, efficient and even tried to find us a growler so that we could we could take some beer with us! We tried 5 different brews, with the Copy and Pastry being our favorite. We ordered the large everything pretzel. Came with cheese sauce and mustard- both tasty. We shared the very large and delicious Nashville hot schnitzel. We also had a side of spaetzl-if I have anything that could be improved it would be the spaetzl. It was good tasting but a bit dry. We will most definitely go back next time we are in the Cleveland area. read more

Haven't been here for dinner in a while. Husband had pulled pork macaroni and cheese and I had a smoked reuben. Excellent food! Excellent beer. Excellent service. Only thing preventing a five star rating is the smoking on the patio. Especially the indoor patrons coming out to smoke near us as we're trying to eat our meal. 16 people and two smokers stinking it up. read more

Sat at the bar and service was very good poutine was very tasty Nice place would definitely come back read more

Delicious beers, delicious food and fantastic customer service. My family will definitely be back again to visit this beautifully designed brewery. Keep up the fantastic work! read more

I had an okay experience here. Our waitress was super friendly, but our pretzel arrived very cold so we ended up not ordering anything else. The hazy IPA was pretty good, wish there was a bit more of a selection read more

Brie was so friendly and provided great service! Great atmosphere and the food was delicious!

Third time here was not the charm! Two of our group of 14 had pulled pork that was way too salty and the Cole slaw was, I don't don't know what it was -too hot and spicy? 3 of the folks at my table had the pork schnitzel and all of them were over cooked, as were the canned green beans! And from the sounds of it the mashed potatoes were left in the warming tray too long and started to "brown/burn" up. Our waitress was nice but a little slow for a Tuesday nite, the place really wasn't that busy. Overall not pleased with the food or the service and overpriced for what was ordered. read more

The aesthetic is charming and very authentically Bavarian. We enjoyed trying the beers which did not disappoint. My personal choice was the Foe Hammer which I enjoyed! We tried the schnitzel which was meh, not all like what I had enjoyed so much in my travels to Germany, but rather a bland piece of fried meat. Might reserve this spot to grab a drink - would be nice to enjoy the patio in crisp fall weather. read more

Sorry, but no. Looks pretty! Beer choices weak. Food has potential but doesn't deliver. Keep working at it guys

The decor of this place is awesome. Very modern day German look to it. They even had a accordion player which is fun. But I was disappointed with the prices. My dad and I went and got what we thought was one appetizer and one entree. The potato pancake was what we thought was the entree because it was on their special board and didn't specify. Any way 3 small, small potato pancakes with said toppings was $15!!! That's why we thought it was an entree so that was disappointing. The egg rolls were yummy. They were 3 of them for probably $12-15 as well. I got a flight of beer 4 for $10 which is normal price- all was okay. Best was the classic and the hazy IPA. Waitress was nice. The hostess originally was going to sit us in a corner seat for 2 when there was literally no room between my seat and the guy behind me seat so we asked to sit somewhere else. They should probably get rid of that table because people like their space. This place is new so I'm sure it's trying to work out all its kinks! Not sure if it's related to the German restaurant across the street. Dirt lot for parking. read more

Schnitz Ale Brewery - Breweries Near Me - Parma, Ohio

Came in the afternoon and the bartender and server, Gerard, was so wonderful. He was attentive, professional, so knowledgeable about the menu, and all alcohol in general. Their cocktail sounded okay, and I mentioned I like spicy drinks, so he even muddled some jalapeños he found in the back and made the drink so much yummier. If I come back, it will be because of him. Cheers read more

We frequently go to the Schnitzel House and figured we would give Schnitz Ale a try. They did a great job with remodeling and was impressed with all that they did.All downhill from there. We were greeted by I think is the owners son.Was not very pleasant. We sat and waited for about 15 minutes and were never approached by a server.Very disappointed as we watched no one else getting service either. On our exit I told (owners son) that it wasn't a good first impression. He made a lame excuse and said they just had a large party leave.Would have loved to have given a good review but unfortunately I can't.This could be a great asset to Parma. Not sure if we will or not go back .We really had looked forward to going there. read more

Solid spot in Parma. Small food menu. Beer was decent. Lovely neighborhood spot for a large group to gather. My family went on a weeknight and was disappointed that the smothered pretzel we ordered was cold. read more

Food was over cooked and dry. The perogies were very hard, couldn't cut them with the knife they were so over fried. My wife had the pork dinner which had a lot of fat and over cooked making it dry and tasteless. Only good thing was the beer. Do not recommend to eat here. read more

Besides the fact that there is a woeful lack of parking on the premises the rest of the experience is just a big old meh. This could be the most underwhelming brew house in an area that is loaded with brew houses. The best beer offering was a beer that was brought in from a place across town. The food on the other hand was even less impressive. The service was also spotty. There are much better places around town. read more

The establishment is beautiful. The staff is nice and they work hard. But the beer is below average. I ordered an orange stout and the beer was flat and didn't have any orange flavor to it. I was really disappointed because it sounded so unique, but it was literally the worst stout I ever had. My buddy had the kolsch and it was bad also. I had the smothered pretzel with cheese and bacon bits and it wasn't good either. I saw some people order a hot schnitzel sandwich and that looked really good. I would suggest to order that and a soda or water if you come here. If you are a beer fan, this is probably the worst brewery in Cleveland. But it's really pretty inside and the staff is nice. Just bad beer read more

Great place for an event. We had a celebration of life with 60 people. The food was great and the staff was amazing. They took care of everything, from making sure the food was restocked in the buffet, to makeing sure everyone had drinks, coffee, soda. It was a wonderful, comfortable atmosphere. Already planning our next event there. Thank you Brendon for taking care of us read more

I arrived at the airport and got picked up by my dad and buddies hoping for a few good beers and a meal. When we got to the brewery it wasn't very late and they were out of everything I tried to order. I chose a summer salad and they were out of the ingredients... as I was looking through the menu the server said they could still throw a salad together and I said sure. It was horrible basically a plate of wilted greens and some raisins and olives. The beer wasn't very good and the server was spread way to thin and it took forever to get our drinks. The concept is awesome and I really hope they can figure out the beer and if you're gunna serve food it should be worth the money. Good luck! read more

The BEST food in Parma. Chicken Pate was delicious. Traditional pork schnitzel out of the park. Schweinshaxe (pork shank) unfreakin believable. Bourbon bread pudding on the side was phenomenal. Beer is the real deal German lager. Highly recommended. read more

Great beer and German food - service was good. Atmosphere was nice and value is excellent

Wife and I stopped by, my smoked corned beef sandwich was awesome. Wife's citrus salad tasted good but for $16 you should get more of a salad, was about the size of some places side salads. Vibe was cool, beer that I had was good, would go back again however wife said she'd sit out. read more

Just got home after a trip to this place. The food was good but the service not so much. Food was slow to come out waitress didn't check in on us much and we noticed an " ACAB" tattoo on her arm. It will be a while before we return to this establishment if ever again. We won't support any establishment that is anti police. read more

Can I just tell you how much we love this place? Not only do they have great food and awesome beer, but Samantha always remembers us and we try to sit in her section. Could not be better. The Rehearsal Dinner was fantastic! The food was awesome as well as the beer! Aside from a couple of minor issues with special requests not getting met (extension cords for a projector/ bacon bits in German Potato salad). I would definitely recommend this place for large gatherings. What made it spectacular was the service provided by Jordan and Julia! Also the chef made a table appearance to be sure the food was satisfactory. A memorable event! Thank you Schnitz ALE Brewery! read more

Went on a Sunday. Service was slow, they were out of a lot of beers, could not serve other alcohol since they don't have a liquor license on Sunday. The food was ok, but not worth the prices. I don't plain on going back. read more

Great food, beer and ambiance! I highly recommend. So happy for Parma to have a brewery!

Beer was not bad but man, is their food terrible. The chicken sliders tasted like they were fried in old oil that was primarily used for fish sticks, the sausage platter was really dry & over cooked and the bathrooms were not only filthy, but had no hot water. Gross. We will not be back. read more

So Sam and Jim were our servers and to to start- their service was impeccable! Super friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and also enthusiastic about not only the drinks but the food. We came during happy hour and got the pretzel, schnitzalediner, and a spicy hot schnitzal samwhich. To start the pretzel had very good seasoning and you can tell it's homemade, it was like a everything seasoning mixed with garlic. YUM! I enjoyed the beer cheese sauce while my boyfriend ate up the mustard sauce, also very clearly homemade. The consistency of the sauces had good flavor and good texture! The schnitzle dinner was supperb! Never thought to try a Jam with it but that was such a nice touch. All things combined made sense and my flavor pallet was very happy. The spicy samwich also had good flavors. As for the vibe amongst the restaurant=cozy and modern. Homey and cool. The drink I had- apple margarita was amazing ! I could drink a million of those. Packs a punch- but also is refreshing and tasty! All in all from servers to food to atmosphere to drinks is a 10 out 10. And we will definitely be back! read more

We walked in and were told to sit anywhere. A server brought menus and we were promptly forgotten. After 15 mins, my husband found a server. She apologized profusely And took our order. The food was excellent. The Haus burger was delicious and juicy. Fries were hot and crisp. We noticed food spilled from previous customers was not cleaned up and tables were not cleaned between customers. We will g back once more because the food was so delicious. read more
