The food was good/okay just not my cup of tea. Waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes for my food, the staff were very friendly!

i seen what looks like the manager, working without gloves after picking a crotch wedgie (male worker). literally didn't even eat my food i felt so disgusted. there is also so many bugs and gnats in the bathroom... are yall not doing the daily cleaning that's needed ?? do not recommend, genuinely the nastiest place ive been to. also very rude to their workers, having horrible attitudes and so much more. Went in to New bern location. No one was at the register so we waited for a couple minutes for someone to show up. There were 4 workers back at the cooking area just starring at us. They would say something to each other and look at us again. Not one of them would say a word. We ended up just leaving as the watched us walk out the door. read more

Nothing good to say. When you put defrosted soggy frozen strawberries on a salad, don't offer the same items from the website but then Substitute those items without explaining. If you swap out food maybe say that? If you are a Schlotzsky's than maybe order the items on your menu so you have them on hand. This is NC so telling me strawberries are hard to come by? The food was ok, nothing to write home about. The only staff member wearing their masks was the cashier. They all had them down around their chins. So the people making your food, delivering your food, and cleaning have no basic regard for your health. Ordered for delivery for the first time today. GrubHub did not have my entire order. When I called the store, they were doing nothing to make it, right, and I got hung up on. I called back twice and got hung up on both times. During my first call, the manager would not give me his name. I sent my daughter in to get the rest of my food and she said they weren't wearing name tags. What's up with that? Excellent food, the pizzas are delicious which is strange for a fast food place that specializes in sandwiches. But I guess it's the bread they bake. It's pricy but most restaurants in the chain are so I guess there isn't any helping that. The parking lot is a little inconvenient to get into and so it's hard to find but as far as the food and service goes it's definitely worth a visit. Clean tables most of the time and when they aren't the staff is happy to quickly wash them off. Definitely an above average place to grab a quick and delicious lunch! read more

When I walked into the restaurant I was surprised that it was totally empty, especially since it was an early Saturday evening. I never really thought about buying a deli sandwich from any shop since I've been here in NC. So, tonight I decided to try this spot. Well, I was disappointed, somewhat. The sandwich was ok but for what I know a deli sandwich to be there should have been much much more meat. The prices aren't too bad for what you would pay for a sandwich of this type, BUT I SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE MEAT. One thing I can say for sure there's a lot of choices on the menu. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted because everything sounded yummy. I would go back 1 more time and order a salad. If I am disappointed with that choice, I'll never go back again. read more

I love the food at my local Schlostskys but here it is awful. I ordered a bacon grilled cheese which comes with a tomato basil dipping sauce as per the menu. Didn't get it - went to ask and was told I'd have to pay for a soup to get it. Spoke to someone and they said 'Schlotsky's does it, but I dont'.. even though it is on the menu and I paid for that item. As a business professional who works downtown, I don't often have the time to travel across town for lunch. Recently I decided to make an exception and go to Schlotzsky's. Upon arriving and inquiring about the type of soups they have, the reply I received was "its on the board." Ok, so it is, fair enough...thanks for making me look like a fool. I opted for a sandwich and paid, then waited for nearly 20 minutes to receive my food. Meanwhile, I watched several other customers who had ordered subsequent to me receiving and finishing their meals. When I politely inquired as to where my food was, I was met with abrasiveness. I actually was just expecting an apology and a promise that it would be out promptly, but I received quite the opposite. For a place that is already inconvenient, combining subpar service is unacceptable. While I do like Schlotzsky's food, I won't be visiting the New Bern location again. read more
