Food was good not special. Husband had a regular delux sandwich ( his usual favorite) and it was as expected. Lots of meat and was piled high with all his taste expectations. Mrs Yelper ordered the flatbread to see if it was as pictured. The bread was overly toasted and the ingredients were not all available. The chicken was fine but they were out of avocado and didn't have red peppers either. Both flatbread offers include peppers so this was disappointing . It would have been better and given higher grades but for my expectation that all eateries should be clean. The floors were so sticky my shoes were pulling off my feet! And though there were only two customers eating in there was not one single table cleaned off. So very sorry but I'm being generous with three stars. We will be eating at anyplace else next time we visit Granbury. read more

I've been here several times lately and even though they miss the mark a bit, they do so consistently! The food is usually decent--it meets the standards expected. The service is pretty disorganized. They often have trouble ringing up your order and the speed of food preparation can be pretty hit or miss. The funny part, however, is that if order a Cinnabun, they will forget to serve it every time. You always have to go back up and ask, "Hey, will you be bringing that cinnabun soon?" And they'll say something like, "oh yeah, was it a regular one?" And you say, "the one with pecans like that one and point." And then they say, "okay, give me a minute..." And then they disappear to the back and if you're lucky, in few minutes, they bring you one. If you're not lucky, you have to go and ask again and repeat that process until they eventually deliver it. read more

We ordered some food on Door dash last night. I paid $50 for three people to eat. When we received our food all the bread for the sandwiches were stale and the edges were burnt. The goat cheese in my daughter's salad was bad . The cinnabons were burnt and hard as rocks I got severally sick to my stomach after eating the sandwich coming out both ends. The town is understaffed in restaurants, I get it, but wearing gloves to prepare food, go to the front handle money and a cash register, put those same (now obviously contaminated) gloves into each cup you hand out and then go back to the kitchen and keep touching food...that's a management issue. Training starts from the top down, and if there isn't a manger that is monitoring the health practices that is a real issue. I hate to wright a bad review, but tonight our experience at Schlotzsky's was very disappointing. We pulled in the drive thru about 630 there was very few cars in the parking lot. I paid at the window and they asked us to pull to the front. We sat for about 10 minutes and they came out my wife's soda and said "it was going to be a few more minutes." Now I started to worry because there was three more cars doing the same thing that we were doing but they were there before us. To make a long story short it took us 30 minutes to get our salads. I realized at that point that we had no salad dressing so I had to send my wife in there to get some. Because I am on crutches and someone had to stay with our now screaming nine month old. Very much enjoyed a free complimentary small sandwich for my bday through the app with a purchase of at least $1. We ordered a Fiesta sandwich and a French dip($11) both which were delicious! We also tried the huuge Meatball calzone which was surprisingly fantastic ($13) My only suggestion is the meatballs be more evenly distributed throughout. We love Schlotzsky's. We recently moved to Granbury and ate there today. We like the jalapeño cheese bread. Not sure that was what we got today. The bread was baked hard and did not have jalapeño flavor and we did not see any either. We placed our order on the app and my husband went inside to pick it up. I'd usually say 3-stars, A-OK, would sum it up, but... Good customer service from Jim, and a fresh tasty sandwich has me rating this 4 stars (I'm a fan). So what did Jim do? I forget who's commercial it is, but it had my brother and I craving a Reuben. And while Schlotzsky's has corned beef, and even an rye bun option, we did not see a Reuben. We mentioned this to Jim, who informed us Schlotzsky's can make a Reuben, it's just not on the menu. Weird. We would have liked to split a large, but they don't bake the rye in the large size, so we got 2 mediums. Tasty sandwich with only one small complaint, the amount of corned beef was a little on the scant size. Bottom line: Next time I'm going to try the pizza! PS. The food was pretty on par as what you would normally expect at a Schlotzsky's, however; the cashier (Jim) while taking my husbands order decided to chastise him for wearing an Apple Watch saying "I don't know why you have a $500 watch on your wrist, that's a months rent for me". Who says that? -100 customer service. Isn't the rule #1 of working in customer service to try not to insult your customer? Totally unwarranted and unprovoked. Will not go to this location again. Hours clearly posted on front door with other people eating inside. Front door was locked other customers inside were as confused as I was and unlocked the door for me to come inside. Manager working at 1:20pm on 9/18/21 was extremely rude and even cussed at me. An elderly couple eating in the lobby was absolutely appalled by this manager's behavior. I totally understand if you need to shut down the lobby for any reason but a simple explanation or sign posted would be great considering the lobby hours are posted. . . Worst experience I've EVER had in a drive through! Got a sandwich with an inedible crazy amount of mustard put on it! I pulled back through the drive through to have them remake it. She proceeded to be rude as well as short with me and I asked if I could order something different of same value. She said no, and told me that I needed to leave. My fiancé and i went there and ordered two sandwiches with the roast beef through the app. We got to the drive through line and told them we had a mobile order and they pulled us though after 10 minutes of waiting they come to the window and told us "we don't have any roast beef, you want chicken, turkey or ham?" Not knowing that the price of the roast beefs were almost 2-3$ extra for BOTH sandwiches. They had us sitting for another ten minutes within that time we look at prices and we decide we just wanted a refund. They come to the window we say "hey we just want a refund." The "manager " then says "well why didn't you say that before we made it?" When the only time we saw them was them asking which meat we wanted instead.the employees were laughing and joking around with each other plus taking other peoples orders. They tell us they'll issue a refund. We get to the parking lot and they forgot our chips after already sitting there for 20 minutes!! I got my chips then called them saying i want my refund the service was unacceptable and i will NOT be going back there." I was treated with disrespect and a "i don't know how to issue a refund. I have to talk to my upper management and we'll issue it by the end of the day." Honestly, I don't even know why I bother returning here. I probably won't be after this time though. It's a shame because the salads are good, their French onion soup is awesome, and overall, the food isn't bad... they just mess up my orders every single time I come. It's become more of a hassle than what it's worth. I don't know why they even ask what dressing I want, because every time without fail, it's the wrong one or I don't get any at all. I also request double goat cheese on my salads, and only half the time do I get more than a teaspoon at best on a full-sized salad, WHEN I PAY EXTRA FOR IT. The customer service isn't bad and everyone seems well-mannered, but I don't exactly want to have things redone every time I go. I guess if you order things as they come, it might be worth it to you. Any minor specifications though likely won't be granted, which kind of kills the whole point of paying for extras. I'm not usually the type to leave negative feedback, but this has happened AT LEAST six times in a row to me. Hopefully some feedback will help them correct some of these issues. read more

Using Drive through due to Covid19, not bad services had ask twice for employee to repeat my order. I just could not understand her. But order was correct, I ask for two pastrami sandwiches! Both our sandwiches were not up to what we have received from other locations. Both were lacking meat, and sauerkraut! Both were medium sandwiches, that were mostly sourdough bread. Found myself in Granbury over the weekend and despite how small the town is there's literally a restaurant every .01 seconds. Interesting. Now, Schlotzsky's stood out to us because we needed to bring back about 7 or 8 sandwiches back home due to family staying over and it was just easier to bring everyone something compared to going out with 10 - 13 people. The guy at the counter was nice, a little stressed out if anything over how many people decided to show up right after us. "The flood gates have opened" was his expression. Huh, I didn't realize 7 people behind us was something to freak out over... 7 people in line in Dallas is absolutely dead in an establishment. The food was... decent.After waiting 50 minutes for our meal, it finally arrived. I ordered half of the Fiesta Chicken sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar. The soup had really nice flavor, the only downside of it was that it was cold, the bowl was warm, but the actual soup was cold which makes me believe they just stuck it in the microwave and hoped for the best. Schlotzsky's is one of my favorite sandwich shops because everything is fresh and they bake their sandwiches. I usually get the original because it reminds me of a muffaletta. I always get the jalapeño bread and sprinkle some Louisiana Hot Sauce on it with some jalapeño chips. My wife usually gets the Albuquerque turkey. It's so hard to leave without getting a Cinnabon cinnamon roll. read more
