Terrible. The service was very slow. We kept seeing people seated after us get drinks, get bread, get salads and we had a waitress that just kept telling us she was slammed. We finally got our good food and I wish we hadn't. The house salad dressing was disgusting, the marinara tasted like an unseasoned ketchup with a strange metallic taste, and supermarket meatballs would have been tastier. We took a couple of bites but it's just not worth it so we actually chose not to eat, paid, and left. read more

My girl friends and I went to Pasta Fine for dinner tonight. Two had special requests out of the norm..Our server Casie, went above and beyond to make sure that their requests were brought to fruition . She was patient, professional and went out of her way to make sure that everyone had their food just as they requested. The food was delicious and I commend Casie for the great service she provided. Chloe and Kate are fast and kind servers!! I've been twice the first time I had Kate, the friend I was with was diabetic and not joking needed a refill eight times, we never had to ask her, extremely fast and attentive to our table. Kate handled everything so smoothly, you'd think she had a sixth sense for table needsChloe was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about restaurant menu items. We came to Pastafina as the restaurant was pretty close to our lake house. I went on Yelp before we chose this restaurant and read some of the reviews, and we decided to give the restaurant a try. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night, and it was a perfect time, before the dinner rush hit. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and warm inviting environment. The menu has a lot of options, and we started off with the bruschetta, and fried calamari. Both were really good. For entrees, we ordered the veal parmesan, veal piccata, the pasta combo, and the chicken parmesan. All were very good, and the serving sizes were on the large side. That is a win! for desert we tried the cannoli and the raspberry white chocolate cheese cake. Everyone liked the cheesecake, but the cannoli was just OK. The ricotta filling was a bit grainy, and didn't taste really fresh, like it was made the day before. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and our waitress was friendly, and did a great job for us. The food is fair but it's the best Italian restaurant in Granbury so unless I feel like driving to Ft Worth I go here. My main complaint is that my favorite dish is eggplant Parmesan and theirs is soggy and buried under a thick sauce whereas is supposed to be crispy with just a light drizzle of marinara. Most of the sauce should be on the accompanying spaghetti served on the side. read more

Food here is pretty good, if you like Italian. We were pretty steady customers, and enjoyed their specials and then....... next time we went and split the special [we're old and don't eat near as much as we used to] they charged $3.00 to provide an extra plate!!!! Now in NY City I wouldn't be surprised, but in Granbury....come on! So it cost them some customers, hope it was worth it, It was mostly their attitude and the principle of the act that got us. We had a great experience here. The service was excellent and our food came out so quickly. The lunch specials are priced super well which was a pleasant surprise in today's economy. Lunch for 3 people was $30 which included salads, bread, main dishes and drinks. Everyone was very friendly which we really appreciated. The lunch special personal pizza was the perfect portion size and just cooked very well. The crust had the perfect crisp on the outside. My only reason for not giving five stars was because most of my salad contained brown lettuce which I had to pick around to find edible pieces. Great Pizza, Average Italian food. The service is usually good and staff are friendly. It has lots of seating but is very popular with the locals. If you have a large party call ahead for reservations. On the weekends if you don't come before 5 Pm prepare to wait to be seated. We love dining in and taking out. Pasta is always cooked fresh and is very delicious. Their pizzas as also excellent. When we eat in, the staff is always welcoming and attentive. When we take out, the guys are great. They know me and recognize me and always ask how my day is going. The service here on our visit was excellent. Our attentive server noticed me picking out and making a little pile of sausage from what was supposed to be a cheese calzone. Host wasn't friendly, the quality of pizza wasn't good and it took over an hour for two small pizza's. They had a limited menu for Mother's Day. I don't recommend this place at all! Witnessed someone coming up to the host and asking are we ever going to be waited on. They weren't that busy either to have this issue. read more

We ordered to go and must say I was not disappointed. My wife had a cheese pizza with sausage added and I had the Ravioli Al Forno with a side order of meatballs. They both arrived fresh and hot. We have eaten here before I've always loved the food, but they used awful smelling cleaning spray (like over used bad perfume know what I mean) it just killed my taste buds! This place is a family owned staple in Texas! The bread is so good and they are SERIOUS about their kitchen and the food! I love that!

I was skeptical but I was in a wine tour so I'm sure that we got great service due to the event. We had a prefix menu so I didn't get to see any other offerings they had but I had the pasta sampler and it was very delicious. It was like baked lasagnas but with different fillings. Their bread wasn't garlicky enough for me but it was hot and fresh, and they only had two salad dressing choices for us which threw me for a loop. I wonder if they had more? I probably won't go back anytime soon to find out bc the chain Italian place can do better than this. read more

Was in the area for a Saturday adventure and am so happy we came here! Sat outside on an extremely windy day, but the setting was lovely! Our server was super nice and attentive. This place had the best Diet Coke! Tons of bubbles and those perfect plastic tumblers. I had chicken parm, he had shrimp fra Diablo. Both were excellent. House salads were tasty with blue cheese. As for chicken parm, I really love it and have high standards. The chicken was nice and thin with a light coating and a pretty good sauce. His fra Diablo shrimp was the best he's had, and he orders it every single Saturday and declared this one the winner. I thought it was extremely hot, but that's what he likes. Also had nice big shrimp. I'd happily return to this place. It's a little down the road from the square but worth it for a quality and inexpensive Italian meal. If you can sit outside, do so! read more

I've never had such bad service. After asking one of the managers if we could sit at the bar, we proceeded to telling the waitress working the bar area we were going to sit there, she starts yelling at us. Telling us we're just going to have to wait and how busy she was and how she had all these other tables to wait on. We had no problem waiting but her yelling at us and giving attitude right off the bat really pissed me off. We immediately got up and left.
