I ordered food togo on Saturday morning. After eating only 45 mins later ended up with the worst case of food poisoning. I am currently on day 4 and yes I contacted thebhealth department. The restaurant responded to an saying they were sorry my experience wasn't up to there standards and tried to gaslight me on my illness coming from their establishment. I can without a doubt assure you that it did come from their restaurant. I actually loced Schlotzsky's but after this experience I will never be back to this location ever and I'm not sure I will go to another as this visit is burned in my brain as the worst restaurant experience ever. I have had a bloody exit since Saturday not long after it setting in. I was in the restaurant every few minutes with violent diarrhea and ended up very dehydrated. I have been still dealing with lingering symptoms unfortunately. I have been in contact with my doctor and doing everything they have recommended. I do not recommend this location to even my worst enemy because what I experienced should only be used as a punishment to a foreign enemy. The store did jot apologize just basically called me a liar which only made me respect them less that I am suffering for something I paid for from them and they can't even say sorry this happened we will do better. I posted other places and others have spoken about how they too got sick from them and they were understanding of what I am dealing with because they too have dealt with it as well. I do not recommend them and warn you if you continue eating there this too can happen to you. This review is me simply putting out the warning label of the results of my dining experience and I never want to experience it again. I will definitely be more cautious with the establishments I choose to eat at going forward when I am finally able to eat normal foods again. This was the absolute worse experience and I am so lucky I didn't end up in the hospital. Clearly I would give no stars after my very sickening painful experience but that wasn't an option. I loved my experience at this schlotzsky's!! The food was great and the customer service was as well. I ordered a "giant" sandwich and it WAS giant, and delicious! The dining area was clean and it was completed deserted. I was in and out quickly as you can imagine. The bathrooms were clean. There were Halloween decorations up so it was festive and fun in there. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the delivery address. The employees at the store in Ennis, Tx were accommodating and worked with me to get my order. We went and picked it up. I got a large original. It was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever gotten from your store. It was so fresh and all ingredients were plentiful. I'm a forever customer!! So...just after my party of two ordered, 3 of the 5 people working here left, and they locked the front door. The person who look like the manager has disappeared, though I never saw her leave. There was another couple ordering when we arrived. 20 minutes later and the one employee still visible who looked me in my face repeatedly finally came to the realization that none of us had our food. She hurried and made all 4 orders and apologized, but who ever left her here alone should be fired. Terrible management, inconsistent hours. Thankfully the food was good. read more

I am really disappointed that they don't have the bacon grilled cheese anymore. Now, if you wanna make that same sandwich and still get tomato dipping sauce it's gonna cost you almost $16. But that is not the real reason I am writing this review the real reason I am upset is because my soup was legitimately cold. Not me complaining that it's not hot enough, but I mean this was cold to the touch like it had come out of a refrigerator or something. I was just passing through so as soon as I got it from the drive-through I started eating it on my drive and when I touched the soup container it was cold... Not enough people working maybe. It's so so slow and you have to wait forever for someone to even come take your order because they're all so busy in the back keeping up with to go orders. Arrived at 2 PM on Sunday afternoon to find the restaurant empty and no cars in the drive-through. Waited five minutes for someone to take our order at the counter to no avail. Finally got the attention of one of the workers in the back who said they would be with us shortly. One car in the drive-through & five minutes later I asked do we need to drive through? We were told we will be with you shortly again. After 10 minutes of standing at the counter waiting to just have our order taken, we promptly left and ate somewhere else. I needed something to take to a last minute get together at a friends new house on move-in day. Walked in and asked for a party platter or something like that. This wasn't something that is exactly on their menu. The two Ladies at the counter figured out a solution, recommended a few choices and got my order going. 10 minutes later I left with 20 quarter sandwiches, in various configurations. They even suggested extra napkins since my friend probably didn't have an organized kitchen yet! Great solution and service! read more
