Staff attitude was off putting and kinda rude. Got mainly crumbs for my chips. My sandwich was not cooked all the way. Restaurant was clean. This place has potential if they tried harder.

    Dagwood

Both sandwiches were delivered fresh and loaded with meat and veggies. The Weinberger Reuben was very tasty. The Dagwood was the best!! I got it exactly the way it came, and it has to be one of the best sandwiches I've had!!! Will definitely be a return customer!!!

If ever in Ennis, don't miss this cute little shop! We stopped in for a late lunch while driving down I45 and we were not disappointed! The Sandwich ingredients were fresh and very tasty, and the servings were large. One of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Staff was helpful and polite. Nice little place in a buzzing downtown.

The Weinberger Rueben Sandwich was as amazing as everyone said. A big sandwich that had a perfect blend of flavors. Can't wait to try more of the delicious looking sandwiches, being served, that almost distracted me from my own.

Hollingshayes Cubano Sandwich and Baked Potato Salad
    Jena M.

Hollingshayes cubano is AMAZING, two huge halves (already ate one) and you have to get the baked potato salad, super fresh and flavorful. Love the deli vibes and artwork. The staff is friendly and quick, will definitely be back!

Debris sandwich! I couldn't wait to eat! Amazing!

This place is exactly as it has been reviewed. REALLY GOOD SANDWICHES!!!! I had the Debris sandwich and had low expectations for my favorite hometown hero. As a person who grew up on New Orleans Debris, trust me when I say....I didn't even finish the sandwich before I started this review. The remoulade, pickle, and shredded lettuce perfectly balance the pot roast. I can't say enough great things. My husband had the Italian combo. Wow! Let's just say I drank the Au Jus when he was finished because it was that good! Check the bag because they sneak in a pickle and some chips. We will be back to try the menu!

    Turkey ciabatta

Decided to try this based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Had the turkey ciabatta with the baked potato salad and it was all yummy! Everything was so fresh and juicy in this sandwich that it was literally dripping! I'm not a fan of having a lot of "crunchy stuff" in my potato salad and this was perfect! Lots of flavor without having to pick through it. The staff is friendly and the place super clean. There were so many sandwiches to choose from that I can't wait to come back to try a different one each time.

I'm not one to "go out" for sandwiches. But Limericks not only has me going out for some, but even craving their specials!

I got the Rich and Rich sandwich. It was delicious. Plenty of meat and the Cole slaw on it was excellent. I would recommend this place.

Limericks deli is a hidden gem in Ennis. My go to sandwich is the Heaton. Don't miss out on this place if you're in Ennis.

So, four generations of Pollocks walk into a Perogie bar…read more... For my birthday my family asked where I wanted to go, and for the first time I had a solid answer. Thank the algorithm for suggesting this place. I was born in America, so was my dad, and his dad, but before that my "-Ski" elders immigrated from central Poland to Pennsylvania. I remember Nanny's cooking, and this is it! We rolled in 10 strong and ordered almost everything in the menu and passed plates around. Tried all the soups - Behold the Best Beet Borscht in NTX, the Pickle soup is great too, haluski bacon noodles delicious side, and the big Kijowski sausage sandwich was over a foot long. Ashley, Damien, & Tim didn't expect a heard of hungry pollocks, and they all bent over backwards to get everything together for us. Will be making this hour- plus drive again, still some things on the menu we missed. Oh, and I almost forgot the giant PEROGIS!! from traditional potato varieties with cheese, jalapeños, and other Texas twists, all the way to Italian meat and cabbage stuffed delights, every variant was delicious. we plowed through probably two dozen, ok so I did tap out and had to bring several home for second dinner. If you want a good food adventure, or have any Polish heritage and don't know the food of your ancestors, it is so worth the trip to Granny Dee's.

My girlfriend took the trays to her house and when I wanted to try it the next day, her family had eaten it....all. Three days later, I happen to going through Ennis on a weekend trip and stopped in to actually try it this time. Having some Polish blood running through the veins, I was pretty excited to see and try many things on the menu that I grew up with. So I proceeded to order like 3-4 different plates (I was with my girlfriend again, but I knew what my mission was.... Pirogies- really good. We had the cabbage and mushroom; tater and cheese and Piccadillo (a little Tex mex version with ground beef, potato and jalepeno). Honestly, the picadillo was my favorite, all were good though. The sauerkraut and ribs were tasty, they take all of the fun out of it by taking the meat off the bones, but better for service. We had the sausage plate which was really good and finally the potato pancakes with apple sauce. Everything was great. Did not know it at the time, but Granny Dee was our sever!! Sweet woman, great service and we have followed similar paths in our movings over the years. The place over all is in an old building, very nice, clean and comfortable. I recommend the place for a little taste of home. May not be like my mom's, but better than me having to make it. I will be stopping again in my travels.
