Food and service outstanding, great pastrami sandwich made to order, service polite and prompt, highly recommended

Stopped here to meet some family who live locally for lunch and was recommended by others. Yummy little sandwich shop right smack in little downtown. The parking is limited but once you get inside there's a menu full of delicious sandwiches that come in a few different varieties. Just walk up to the counter and order when you're ready, fill up your own cup, and find an open table (if you're dining in). I ordered the Reuben and lovedddd it! The potato salad was creamy and appeasing, and the jalapeño coleslaw definite had a kick of spice to it yet still enjoyable. The sandwiches are quite large so my mom and grandma shared one and filled up. I will absolutely return when I'm back in the area! read more

Ruben was good with both Pastrami and corned beef but the Swiss cheese slice was disappointingly thin. I did not like the potato salad and the cold slaw was not fresh seemed like it was in refrigerator for a number of days. read more

The Italian Sandwich is delish! I want to go back here everyday for lunch, and I would if i worked closer. Limerick's Sandwich Junction is right off the main street through downtown Ennis. There is street parking and parking lots also close by. There are a lot of other places to visit before or after your lunch. Staff was working hard to get sandwiches out quick. I also had the macaroni salad with my sandwich and it was delish as well. Really clean dining room with lots of seating. read more

Had the best sandwich i have had in a long time today. Possibly ever. I ordered the "Heaton" after a recommendation, from one of the staff and it was superb. The fresh ingredients, texture and flavor combinations all balanced perfectly and for just a sandwich this will be a highly recommended meal going forward. Give it a try. My only knock was that the employees took a little coaxing to get recommendations/conversation out of, but they were all actively working so it's certainly not worth knocking a star. read more

This place is exactly as it has been reviewed. REALLY GOOD SANDWICHES!!!! I had the Debris sandwich and had low expectations for my favorite hometown hero. As a person who grew up on New Orleans Debris, trust me when I say....I didn't even finish the sandwich before I started this review. The remoulade, pickle, and shredded lettuce perfectly balance the pot roast. I can't say enough great things. My husband had the Italian combo. Wow! My family and I have lived in ennis our whole lives and this is by far the best sandwich shop I've seen in the county. Today I got a New Orleans style sandwich (I change my order kind of often) and this is by far my favorite one yet! This mustard is so yummy and they aren't shy with it! Decided to try this based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Had the turkey ciabatta with the baked potato salad and it was all yummy! Everything was so fresh and juicy in this sandwich that it was literally dripping! I'm not a fan of having a lot of "crunchy stuff" in my potato salad and this was perfect! Finally a good sandwich shop that's not miles away. I ordered the Heaton sandwich and my girlfriend ordered the Italian Sub with a side of Mustard Potato Salad. The Heaton was great. The bread was toasted, the meat and vegetables were fresh, and the sauces were amazing. The sandwich had a kick that wasn't too much and complimented the freshness of the vegetables very well. The Italian sub was very good. The meat was also fresh and the sandwich had the perfect amount of basil mayo and oil & vinegar dressing! The mustard potato salad was very good. Also each sandwich came with a pickle spear and good amount of potato chips! The service was fantastic. Nice staff that made sure our order was just right. Limerick's is a must do when in Ennis. Our absolute favorite spot for sandwiches. I have ordered the muffuletta, the hot ham and turkey and the Italian sub and all were delicious. The sandwiches are quite large - they do not skimp on anything here. The real deal! We usually call in our order and 10 minutes later it is ready for pick up. So easy! You can also eat in and there is plenty of seating. The sandwiches come with a bag of chips and a delicious pickle. Customer service is top notch and your order is always served with a smile. I wish I had taken a photo of the sandwich. I stopped in on a lunch break and by the time I had the chance to open it, that was all I had to eat. The sandwich was 75% lettuce. I ended up taking off half the bun and putting what little meat there was on the other half. I was really disappointed as my sandwich was nothing like the others I had read about in the reviews. I've been wanting to try this since we moved to Ennis. Based on reviews, I expected the best sandwich I have ever had. It was not good. My husband and I both ordered Turkey ciabatta. A side of potato salad and a side of macaroni salad. I'm pretty sure both salads were store bought. The sandwich had the worst flavor. I am not sure if it was the olive mix or the dressing on it. The bread was not a ciabatta that I've ever seen. I had to scrape off all the toppings just to eat it. And I have been sick since eating it. Yuck. read more

I was driving down to Houston from Dallas for a wedding and decided to stop here because it was highly rated. Let me tell you, it deserves all 5 stars and then some. I ordered one of the specialty subs and a s'mores cookie and both were amazing, but everything on the menu looked great! I had originally ordered my sub to go so I could get back on the road but it ended up being a little messy so I went back in to eat it and they gave me a drink cup and said, "you gotta have a drink to wash it down" without me even asking for a drink. I am from Dallas so I love the Great Outdoors and have been eating there since I was a child.
