We stopped in for a quick & light lunch so I can't speak to the buffet or any of the chicken dishes I see being plated for takeout. Takeout boxes were being plated from buffet bar. Service was quick and friendly.

It seemed to attract a lot of nearby people on their lunch breaks as well as students. I went in late December so it wasn't too busy and I found parking around the corner. I was seated and browsed through the menu. I ended up ordering: - Warm HK milk tea: I found this overly sweet overwhelming the milk tea - Pork with egg: This was under the HK menu with the char siu, crispy duck, and chicken option. What I got was not what I was expecting (char siu and boiled egg). The plate was more egg drop soup with pork and peas. It also had a sweet flavor. - Dim sum for one: Sui mai was decent. Har gao was off. They must have put something meant for the dessert dumpling into it. Coconut didn't have the mochi consistency I was expecting. It was very soft, not at all sticky or chewy. Staff was really nice. I just didn't enjoy my meal, unfortunately.

Unlike some other hot pot places I've been to, this place only charges for one pot and not for the food you get. I ordered everything that was available and it was all better then the last. I would especially recommend the pork, it was delicious! I had 3 orders of it. As I mentioned before, the food is delicious! While I couldn't get a photo, there was also a sauce bar. You had the option to get a premade one or get your own. I chose to make a teriyaki sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out while waiting for food to arrive. The waiter was so nice, I didn't catch his name but rest assured all of the staff is so nice and kind! They are very informative and know what dishes are good and bad. Now for the part that is hardest to nail down, the restaurant ambiance. I normally don't write about ambiance because to describe an amazing place to someone with just a few words is hard to do, but I felt I had to do it for this one. The restaurant looks very authentic and it is clear that they respect the culture that they represent.

It was not crowded at all, given the time of day. We were immediately seated and able to begin building our plates. The restaurant is large, and enough space for a larger party. There is both booth and table seating. There are two main lines, and then one in the back with desserts. I thought there were a good amount of choices, with a lot of variety so that anyone would be satisfied with their meal. The food was hot, and they were attentive to refilling things as they were emptied. My personal favorites were the various chickens, and the Crab Rangoons. There were some more unique items that were fun to try as well, such as the Seafood Salad and even some sushi offerings. The wait staff was quick and kind. Our drinks were refilled frequently, and they came to check our table multiple times. It is a small operation, as the wait staff was also refilling the buffet trays as they were emptied. Overall, I thought it was an acceptable buffet. It is not the largest I have ever been to, but is satisfactory and provides a lot of choices, For two for lunch, including drinks, it was a little over $30, and I thought the value was there for the price. A lot of the negative reviews of this place come around eating there for dinner, so the experience might be different if visiting at that time. However, I would recommend it for a lunch option if you are in the Green Tree area!

The gentleman asked if he could help and I said, well all the food is cold. Another lady came running over and pointed out the full, hot, and fresh chicken they just put out. Obviously, yes, that will be fine. I pointed out the rest of the buffet that was not. They offered to make anything I wanted. I stated you can't make the entire buffet. The guy followed me back to my seat and apologized. He said he's been in the food industry for a long time and only helps when he can and keeps telling them that in order to keep a buffet business, you need to keep things going and fresh. I didn't pay for the few bites I had but left a more than generous tip and wished they did better next time but not sure I'll go back. People can get seriously ill from unsafe food temperatures

When I entered the restaurant, an employee kindly greeted me and processed my payment for $15 plus a tip. I chose a table on my own. The dining room looked nicely decorated and clean. The buffet area offered dozens of Chinese and American foods (NOT authentic Chinese foods), ice creams, and fountain sodas. I filled up two plates with foods such as a spring roll, crab rangoon, chicken and broccoli, rice and shrimp, stuffed mushroom, a few desserts, tangerine, etcetera. Everything was freshly made and tasted not great but "good."

It was kind of busy - at one point every single table was taken up! Once you pay and come in, you can stay for as long as you'd like. The inside must have been remodeled somewhat recently because it's nicer than you'd think it would be. There's a bunch of different tables and booths and they suggested that we put together three tables so that our party of 12 could sit together. The food itself isn't authentic Chinese food by any means (there's even some things available like macaroni and cheese and Italian chicken) but it's hot and plentiful. There's probably around 10 types of chicken available along with things like fried rice, shrimp, lo mein noodles, and a salad bar and dessert bar. All in all, I think it's reasonably priced for what you get and I would come back next Easter!
