Very disappointed, left my car for It's maintenance warranty check up. after i got out at work and went to the location at 4:25 pm the entire place was locked up and i had no way to get my keys to the car. also my car was left unlocked and one license plate cover is missing. the website and the representative explained that the dealership was open til 5pm. This past Saturday the day before New Year's Eve, I needed to have my 2015 Crosstrek serviced with an oil change, tire rotation, and battery replaced because I was giving my car to my daughter. I did not have an appointment and drove up at 7:30AM. I was greeted by Lisa Morrone in Service and she said she would do everything possible to help me have my car ready for my daughter. i just purchased my second Subaru Forester from Schaller. My new salesperson this time was Josh Marks. Josh took the time to go over the contract and listened to my concerns about what I wanted and what he could do for me. We reached a detente where we were both satisfied. Everything that I asked for was written down and signed by Josh's manager which I have a copy of. The day I brought the car was the day I walked into the dealership but I had already contacted Schaller telling them that I wanted the car asap and within 3 hours my car was ready. Before I left the dealership, Josh sat with me and went over the basic inside design which was much different than my older Subaru. He didn't rush me and was very patient with me. Plus he gave me chocolate cookies when I was really hungry. LOL I had to leave with Dealer plates because the title wasn't ready yet. Josh told that to write down all my questions and when I came back we would again go over any other concerns I had because I had time to drive with it for 3 weeks or so. Josh sat with me for nearly an hour and I went away feeling very grateful that Josh was assigned to me when I went to buy my new (used) car. I highly recommend Josh Marks. I have purchased and serviced cars here previously and had a great experience but clearly something has changed over the past few years. We have visited twice in the past 6 months for service for my Subaru. Last time, they charged us to replace both batteries on the key fobs for my car and they DID NOT do that. My car continued to say "access key battery low" for both sets of keys. We live 45 minutes away so it's not an easy trip for us to just stop by. We also experienced an issue with a warranty-related minor repair to a malfunctioning interior mirror, and instead of handling it professionally, the staff member at the time kept calling me constantly (while I was at work!) to update me, then re update me, on whether the issue would be covered under warranty. Today when I went in for my scheduled service, I waited over 33 minutes to get checked in by a service advisor. The first female service advisor I spoke with continuously addressed other customers who arrived after me, and apologized by saying, "I should get paid more." It was really off putting and very rude--if I hadn't driven almost an hour to get there, I would have walked out and gotten my service elsewhere. When another service advisor stepped in to help she explained she had been on her lunch break--understandable, everyone needs a break, but why are they scheduling appointments for times when staff are unavailable? Schaller, we gave you a second chance and you lost a customer today. We prefer a dealership that is organized, professional and treats us with respect. We'll be getting service, and shopping for our next new vehicle, elsewhere. read more

Classic Sleazy car salesmen. Don't buy a car from this dealer or their branch in New Britain. Classic bait and switch - I called about availability of a specific car I wanted to test drive. Because there was only a stock photo I asked the guy who answered the phone some questions about the car. He put me on hold and when he return he said "yes, I just checked the car, it has...(what I asked about)" I called back shortly after to make the test drive appointment for the same day. I called again when I was running late. They confirmed the car I was coming to drive and said "no problem. We'll have it waiting for you outside". When I got there the general sales manager greets me and took me inside. Introduced me to the guy who would take me for a ride. We get to a table to sign me in and suddenly the manager realizes "oh! That car JUST sold. They're signing the paperwork now." I could read him and immediately knew what was up. Blah blah blah... long story short. LIES. I asked to see the car. Suddenly he needs clarity on the car I made an appointment to see - after speaking with THREE people about that car. I tell him AGAIN. And he remembers that car has a blown transmission. Then, he wants to show me other cars. NO. I wouldn't buy a car from this dealer if it was $1. The car with the blown transmission is still on their website - FIVE days later. I bought my car here in 2017, so ive been bringing it back here for every oil change. I will no longer bring my business here again. The last time i brought my car for an oil change here i waited over 2 hours for it to be done, for something that should take about 30-45 mins. Because of this, when it was time for my next oil change i brought my car to another garage to get the oil changed. It took these mechanics around an hour to get the drain plug out because Schaller screwed it in so ridiculously tight. The mechanics ended up having to go through great lengths to remove the plug. As a result i ended up having to get a new drain plug for it because they had to ruin the plug in order to get it out. read more

Paid $700 on 1/9/2021 for 60,000 mile service that was not done! This service department scams people! They charge you for service that they do not do - SUPER UNSAFE!!!!!!!!!! They park your car and tell you service was completed when you drive away - They charged me $700 for 60k service, when I got my car back I noticed that fluids were not topped off - Looking under the car, the plugs required to check/change the diff fluid were corroded, they had never been removed - they still had the gaskets from the factory installed. Looking at my tires I realized that I had not given the service shop my lug key - There was still grime on the lug nuts and it was clear that they had not been removed for tire rotation, break bleeding, inspection of rotors/breaks/calipers etc. Looking around the engine bay, nothing had disturbed the grime that has accumulated over the winter - These guys are legitimately unsafe - They prey on people not checking their work - This service department is unacceptable and should be investigated. I doubt I am the only person they have done this to - These types of things endanger drivers and this negligence could have led to me getting injured or my car failing pre-maturely. A short ride home I smelled oil, but just figured oil was spilled. Got on the highway the next day, engine smoking had to get off the highway and this is when I discovered the cap was not on. Not sure if I had oil to drive further I called service. no reply. Came home to huge oil stain on my driveway. Long story short, resolved issue with my husband checking oil, etc. Called 2 more times to complain/ seek assistance. Had to leave messages. NO RETURN CALL. I have been a long time Schaller customer but that will no longer be the case after this last transaction. I traded in my vehicle to the Schaller Subaru in Berlin back in August 2022 and realized I left my Louis Vuitton sunglasses in the vehicle. I contacted the dealership and was told they'd look into it. After a month of no communication whatsoever, I decided to stop by and speak to the sales manager, Dave Williams. He looked upset that I was even at the store and again stated he would get back to me after speaking to his boss. We are now on the last day in October and I have yet to hear back. After getting the runaround for so long I decided to reach out to the general manager, Vince Giordano, in an attempt to rectify this situation. While I did receive a prompt response from him, he told me that if I "can't find them anywhere else" that I would have to just "consider them lost". What a slap in the face! I won't find them anywhere else because I physically SAW them in the vehicle at the dealership but forgot to take them out and someone at this establishment stole them. Their waiting room is stocked with waters, snacks and hot coffee and tea, all FREE while you wait for your car. I recently was approached by their new in house Allstate Insurance professionals. After hearing the ease of enrolling AND bundling my homeowners, it was a big fat YES! Especially since they got me lower prices! When it was time to update my car, I went to Schaller Mitsubishi and bought a beautiful Eclipse Cross! My car payments are lower than my previous car and the financing was zero percent! The warranty for my Eclipse is 10 year/100,000 miles! The sales people are extremely knowledgeable and are prepared, ready for accommodating you. There are 3 divisions of the Schaller Auto Group, whichever one you choose, you will be treated like the most important person in the room! read more

Ad hoc operation When my new Subaru arrived at Schaller in Berlin, I was told it would be ready for pickup 3 days later. The first impression is the inspection, and the prep work was amateur at best. It's not clear what they did for 3 days. There was dried wax on the mirrors and hood, and even on the interior leather. The windows were clouded with swirl marks. The chrome wheels had generous amounts of sticky adhesive residue. The salesman seemed not at all concerned, as these were minor details easily overlooked. Then I had to sit through the video presentations for added services offered, which I clearly stated I had no interest in. But "it's mandatory", my salesman informed. Next was a tutorial on the vehicle's features and operation. Since I had already done my homework online before even walking in the door, this was another waste of time; not to mention my salesman provided inaccurate information since he was confused about the trim level I purchased. As you can imagine, when it comes to having my car serviced, I drive well out of my way to another dealership, since the management here is clearly asleep at the wheel or just focused on sales. read more

Wow. Just left Schaller Subaru's Service Dept. My car was brought in for a recall, completed by 1:00pm. I picked it up at 4:30pm. They had it since 8:00am, and somehow managed during that time to get dirt, pen, and what looks like ash all over my interior. When I dropped it off, everyone was admiring how clean and conditioned it was. Too bad I didn't pick it up that way. There appears to be a pen mark and a giant green splotch on my drivers side leather seat. When I dropped it off, I told them it was a light sand interior, which is why I have the car double matted and towels down. Clearly I'm a little neurotic about keeping my car clean-- so why on earth would they be so careless? Never in my life have I had such an experience. Thank goodness my husband details cars and had the right products to get it out. Earlier they called me to let me know I had a few minor service issues I should get fixed, but I promised them on my way out I will never let them near my car again. My car is pristine condition-- I never drive it. It's my "fun" car, I wash it, I drive it on weekends, and I admire it from afar. I knew something was off when she said my air filter was dirty. I get regular oil and filter changes (every 6,000 miles, full synthetic) and I never drive this car!! It was just done 2,000 miles ago. I bought a used car here in 2015 and when a newer version of the same make/model turned up on their lot, I reached out for a test drive. Same Internet sales manager, Business manager and salesman Jerry Czuprynski are still there which I think bodes well for the dealership. Jerry remembered me, had the car ready for a test drive and off we went. After a mile or 2 I realized I didn't like it as much as my current car. While driving up north for the holidays the confusing Subaru TPMS flashing light came on. Is it a slow leak, is it a defective sensor? Since we got a flat over Thanksgiving, we decided to play it safe and bring the car in. First thing in the morning I gave them a call, and they said "just bring it in" no appointment needed. I showed up a bit after 9am, dropped the car off, and went in to the lobby to have a cup of coffee (fresh ground machine! with Hot Chocolate too!) and a granola bar. 20 minutes later, the mechanic told me the pressure was too high in the tires (combination of them being a bit overfilled when it was cold and the car was empty, it was now warm and the car was fully loaded) they had put them to the manufacturers specification and handed me the keys. I asked if I owed anything, and the guy looked at me weird "for air?" So yeah, peace of mind on a long car ride AND free coffee and a granola bar? 5 stars in my book. read more

I have been a customer for years. Unfortunately I will never go to Shaler again. Their customer service has been reduced to text messaging only. It is impossible to speak to someone no matter how hard you try. Not everything can be described in a text message. On top of it I had taken my car to another dealer and knew exactly what needed to be repaired. The technician who was texting me back insisted that even if I knew what needed to be fixed I had to pay $150 diagnostic fee. After being totally setup I sought out help to Firestone in Cromwell. They listened and were able to fix my problem for under $50 if. Customer service is extremely important to me in being able to communicate directly with a person is where I feel this dealership is falling short. With that being said this review is not about the product per say but its about a dealership, Schaller Subaru. Recently I have purchased my third vehicle from Schaller. This purchase is my first new car and my previous 2 were used cars. Everything from start to finish was very smooth and couldn't have been more perfect. I also want to say that I have referred many people to this dealership and all of them were extremely satisfied. Steven Matters has assisted me in all of my vehicle purchases from Schaller Subaru. He takes the word salesperson and brings it to a whole new level. For all of my vehicle purchases he has taken the time to listen to my needs and concerns and fit me with a vehicle that was just perfect for me. When I took delivery of my newest car (2018 Crosstrek) he even took the time to pair my iPhone. He is dedicated and honest. I would highly recommend him for your next vehicle purchase. Lisa the finance manager is amazing. I honestly don't know how she does what she does but she has worked miracles for me. For my first purchase at Schaller I was trading in an older car (not a Subaru) that had very high miles and was starting to become unreliable. I was driving 100 miles a day and I still owed money on my car. She was able to roll my negative equity into my new loan so I could have a reliable car to drive. I didn't even know that was a thing but it definitely put me into an Outback that was super reliable and safe. I still own this vehicle and feel comfortable with my teenage daughter driving it. I could shop at any dealership in fact I have a Subaru dealer that's closer to me than Schaller but I would prefer to drive the extra miles to visit my Schaller family. Steven and Lisa are amazing they do whatever it takes to assure that your entire experience is perfect. I had a sensor go bad on my Legacy so I had my car towed to Schaller. While it was there I had them look at a "clunking" on the passenger side. A few hours later I get a call from the service manager telling me that the clunking was a bad ball joint, but because of rust they might need to replace the half-shaft and wanted me to pre-approve the replacement. I agreed over the phone. Of course they needed to replace the axle shaft, and this has been the source of woe, and the reason I will never step foot in Schaller again... After getting the car back I noticed a transmission leak that I didn't have before. I wasn't 100% positive it was because of the repair at Schaller so I held off bringing it back. It was two months before I was under the car and saw that I had transmission fluid leaking for the seal on the transmission where it meets the axle shaft. I took the car back strongly suggesting that it was because of the axle replacement. They told me that it couldn't be because of the earlier repair and made me pay to fix the leak. Two weeks later I notice that it's still leaking... the car goes back. Two weeks after that? Still leaking. Schaller replaced a part that arguably didn't need to be replaced and now they can't properly fix a leak that they caused. I give up. Of course this isn't my only Schaller horror story. At the same time my drama was going on, I helped a friend buy a new Subaru and we went to Schaller. Like another reviewer, they ran her credit 5 or 6 times. They changed the sales receipt AFTER they gave her a copy. After she signed off on a 1.9% loan the finance department would only offer her a 2.4% loan (until a lot of arguing and they discounted the car the difference in interest). I don't think anyone there is in the market to screw anyone, but I feel as though there's just a lot of miscommunication and a bit of ineptitude. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. This is the first time ever being treated rudely and disrespectfully at any car dealership. We had contacted this dealership and requested three cars to look at. We received an e-mail stating that the cars would be sanitized, placed on hold, and ready to go on our arrival. I then called the dealership and asked to speak to the man who had communicated with us via e-mail. He did not pick up the phone so I left a voice message asking him to call me. It should have been a warning when he never called back. Upon arrival, none of the cars were ready and the salesman that came out had no idea what we were talking about. When we asked to speak to the man who communicated to us in an email the salesman actually said to us..."He never comes out and talks to anybody." Say what? He then said they were having problems with the computer and that may have been why they had none of the cars ready. However, we did see other cars that had hold signs on them waiting out front. At this point, we asked to talk to the manager to explain our frustration. We had just driven 45 minutes for an expected appointment. The manager refused to come out of his office. We could see him sitting at his desk and when we asked again why the manager was unwilling to talk to us as requested he finally appeared, only to lie right to our face and say that no one told him we wanted to see him. Mind you, we had just watched the salesman go into his office and tell him we wanted to speak to him! The manager then turned his back on us as we were explaining why he just lost a car sale. I just purchased a 2020 vehicle from Schaller Subaru less than 2 months ago. I was told by my mechanic (who is the one who suggested I go to this dealership) that both my back tires were bad and that the washer fluid container was completely broken. I brought my car in this past week to be looked at. I was there for 2 hours before I got any kind of an update and I had an appointment. I had to wait there because I live an hour away and had no ride home. The person who was assigned to me finally gave me an update at first saying that they would not cover any of the repairs that the car needed. She then informed me that she spent 29 minutes on the phone with my insurance company. She did not call the right insurance company and argued with me when I told her she had the wrong insurance company. I asked, but did not get an answer as to why she would call the insurance company in the first place. In the end, the repairs will be getting done. I spent 3 hours there with no work being done and have to schedule another appointment once the parts come in only to sit there again for another 3 hours to have the repairs done. This is how long she is telling me the repairs will take. Rude and unprofessional. I will be glad when the repairs are done. I definitely will not be going back. read more

My fiancé got her Outback from here and we had a good experience with the buying process, and we got a heck of a deal. I have been here twice for service with my Legacy. Once for rear sway bar swap which they wanted to charge me $115 for 20mins of labor and no parts (I supplied my own Subaru original parts) I was able to negotiate it down to $75. The second time was for an oil leak caused the lovely folks at Valvoline on E. Main Street in New Britain who forgot to put a new o'ring on the oil drain plug resulting in a brand new synthetic oil change within a 2k mile interval costing me $75.92. Yayyy I have to say both times service was quick despite other reviews. The second service visit I just walked in with no appointment on a Saturday morning and was out of there within an hour. The service staff was super polite, and even invited me back to the shop area to show me the issue with my car. I liked that. Now, if only the girls at the cashier counter shared the same politeness. Good Lord... they seem always to be in a bad mood. If they are chatty is usually because they are annoyingly giggling among themselves. Kind of makes it my least favorite place to visit at this dealer, even though they are cute. The waiting area is nice with comfortable chairs and free bottles of water. If you are waiting for your car bring a book. Really... they only have the very, very basic TV and half were infomercial channels. Only thing good watching today was the HSN, and I almost bought a new set of copper cookware by the time I left. I had to pinch myself and say NO, STUPID!!! I would definitely come here again and bring both of our Vehicles for service. read more

No appointments, for a month? I also had a recall a few months back.... No appointments for about 6 weeks? When the recall happened... I was nervous and started calling around to other dealers.... I've had multiple services with no issues; however, today the "mechanic" failed to close my hood after my oil change, which I did not notice until I got home. When I contacted Wilfred via Schaller's text system, he told me that the latches wear out and it's probably old so I need to get it checked! Instead of admitted their failure and apologizing, the scum bags attempted to turn it into more business. My husband and I just bought a 2013 Outback from Schaller. We had a wonderful experience - a complete 180 from the awful time had at Bertera Subaru (you'll find my scathing Yelp review of that terrible experience on their page). We worked with Mario, who was incredibly nice, informative, honest, and, best of all, NOT pushy. We explained our dissatisfaction with Bertera to him and he let us know that Schaller does not believe in high-pressure sales or being aggressive; that they're more laid back. They certainly were! He showed us the Outback (which was within our budget) straight out the gate. Took his time showing us features and answering all of our questions. The test drive went well. Husband said he enjoyed driving it even more than the Forester (which we test drove at Bertera). Mario didn't want us to limit ourselves to just the Outback (we explained we were looking for something good in snow and got good gas mileage). The other cars he suggested were actually lower than our anticipated price range, which confirmed for me that he wasn't trying to get us in the most expensive car that he could. But we liked the size of the Outback compared to the other models and decided pretty quickly to go for it! Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience buying cars, and definitely didn't feel comfortable with "haggling." Husband politely asked if the price presented was the price we were expected to pay...if there was any way it could be knocked down a bit. Mario told us that we would be receiving a $500 discount on the car! They made the entire process as smooth as possible. The financial consultant (Lisa) and in-house insurance rep (Graham) that we worked with were also incredibly helpful. Schaller utilizes Allstate as their partner insurance. Graham quoted us for a policy with them, but when it was apparent that my husband's current premium with Progressive would be cheaper, he honestly said as much. We went into Schaller last Saturday, and picked up the car the following Monday. Again, Mario went through everything with us. Even took the time to help my husband set up the Blu Tooth feature. We truly enjoyed our experience at Schaller. This dealership proves that you don't have to be aggressive or unscrupulous to sell cars. Today marks the 6th Subaru my family purchased and/or leased from Schaller Subaru and probably the 10th or 11th vehicle from the Schaller Auto Group overall. And there's a reason we keep coming back. Today, I was in the market for an Impreza. I'd gone online and seen some great lease deals, which I expected since they're coming up on the release of the 2017 and are likely to be clearing the lot. I didn't have an appointment when we went in (and it was really busy) but after looking around the lot, I found a few and we went in to see if we could find a sales person who had time. I test drove a 5 door, and liked it. The Impreza has some great standard equipment. Then came the money part. I printed off both lease deals I'd seen online just in case. When the price came back about $150 higher per month, I pulled the print outs from my bag and asked the sales guy about it. He brought them to a manger who came back and explained that they were typos and he apologized. But, since he knew that was what had brought us in, he offered to help us out a little bit and allowed us a premium for around the same price. Although it was a long day there, they made sure we were comfortable and happy with the outcome. They even squeezed us in to deliver the car today so I could drive home and not have to wait until Monday. I've had cars serviced there before and never experienced an issue, so I'm surprised by the issues stated in the other reviews. We've been going to Schaller Subaru since they opened in Middletown in 2009 - and I recommend them to anyone in the market! No pushy salespeople and they do a nice job of bundling relationships. They've kept us coming back. And I couldn't be happier with my new Impreza! read more

Services requested: Oil change, flush AC drain, check for slow leak in one tire Time I came in: 10:00 am, waited in the waiting area Time where I became impatient in the waiting area for said services: 11:40 am Reason for 1:40 wait time: couldn't retrieve synthetic oil because of bare bones staff. Total paid for service: $62 ($10 discount) **was also talked down to for putting too much air in my tires after being in the waiting room for an hour and 40 minutes (no apology). When I first got a car there, all was well. The guy I met with was good, deal was nice, and overall good experience. Now that I own the car and have a warranty, I'm looking to get my oil changed and brakes fixed. It is unbelievable how long this wait time is. This is an updated review. Getting a car here was a great experience despite a bump in the end. Daniel S. was a knowledgeable and very helpful salesperson and was great at keeping up with questions and communicating. This goes for any contracts you signed for anything you buy: when you go to sign, be sure nothing extra that you don't want is on the final contract. With all the paperwork that needs to be done things can get missed you don't want to be stuck after you signed a contract trying to get changes made because it can't happen. We didn't do this and signed away, a week later, when looking through the paperwork, I realized that a $200 service that wewwe hadohad not discussed was on the final paperwork. It wasn't smart of us to not have gone through each item in the contract before signing but it would have been good business practice for the numbers person to be sure the contract aligned with what we had agreed to verbally. I called to address this and was told that nothing could be done. I wrote this review and gave a low number of stars. The next day I received a phone call from the manager who apologized and listened to what I had to say and, while the contract could not be changed, did offer to help make the situation better. I was impressed that he reached out and truly wanted to fix the situation, as you can see from his responses in the review section. Another lesson learned....before negatively reviewing online, try asking to speak to a manager and maybe you will get a helpful or reasonable response. He did not even ask to have me update the review but exceptional service like this deserves it. I would absolutely buy again from here. read more

I have been using the service department since 2017 with no problems. Today I was given a verbal quote for brake replacement and I agreed. When I went to pay was charged an additional $150.00. Do not trust these people and get everything in writing before you agree to any service. They were good, must be a new dishonest service manager that has ruined it. Excellent Service!!! Jose is the man! I've been having an intermittent issue with my electric parking brake since it was replaced as part of a recall. Everytime I've come to Schaller in the past year, Jose has been there to help me. He pays close attention to the discrepancies I have to report, promptly puts me in a courtesy car, gives me updates every morning that my car was in the shop at 8:30am sharp, and makes sure my car is in great condition when I get it back. My elderly mother received a recall on her 2017 Subaru Forrester. She made an appointment just to have them take care of the recall. Her Appt was at 9:40 and she got there around 9:40 and they took the vehicle in. she was taken to the waiting area to await the completion. At 10:51, and hour after she had been there Wilfredo Cruz asked her if she wan her air filter changed. She said no, she was only there for the recall. She waited some more. At 11:53 she went to the service area to ask how much longer it was going to take and she noticed it sitting in the driveway. Another gentleman came and gave her the paperwork and she asked how long the car was finished for. He told her it was done an hour ago. They called her home phone, they escorted her to the waiting room why would they call her phone. she asked to speak to a service manager and the guy was sitting right there. When she repeated the story to him his answer was "i'll take care of it". She asked if that was it and he said, "I told you I would take care of it!" She then asked who was abI've him then because she would like to speak to them. He told her there wasn't anyone above him. How rude of him to act that way to a customer when it was their fault for making her wait an extra hour after it was done. This is the second time this has happened to her. We will never buy a car from there again. We will definitely looking for another place to service her vehicle. read more

If you want to deal with crooks and liars bring your car to Schaller Subaru service. 2.5+mo ago I brought my 2019 with 37k in for diagnosis (still there!) In the end the warranty claim was denied simply for having a tune. A tune done by the best around due to buying a used car with a few aftermarket parts During pandemic when limited vehicles avail. It would've been stupid not to have tuned it to make sure it's operating properly. At purchase I verified the vehicle still had the factory warranty. According to THEIR owners manual a modification or aftermarket part does NOT void the warranty unless proven to have caused the failure in question. Subaru tore down my car on their dime and couldn't determine failure was linked to anything aftermarket or the tune directly. Now they are denying the claim (on a well known issue where even stock ones are having same issue and have for many years) simply for the tunes existence, which is ILLEGAL per federal law. Why did they pay to tear it down in the first place?! Now they expect me to pick up the vehicle and the engine separate as it's all apart!! No one else wants to even touch this car apart either. Through the entire process communication was pretty much non existent; even when I tried to reach out about once a week I had a hard time getting a response and I have not even as much as signed a repair order even though I offered when I dropped off the car. I asked to be called when vehicle was diagnosed, silence. Asked to be called when torn down, silence. Asked to be called when Subaru sent an adjuster, silence. I asked for a call from the service manager, silence. The advisor I am dealing with has never really had any information for me. I asked to be switched to someone else for answers, didn't happen. I only just got an estimate Friday for repair which is inflated and she refuses to give me what labor guide they use bc she knows it's inflated. Also was quoted not even $400 more to put a brand new short block in vs a used engine that has almost 20k MORE miles than my car! I found a used engine for less miles than mine for less than they quoted me. I could be wrong but also thought when a car is under warranty you cannot put a used engine with more miles on it. Another way to deny any claim in the future. Also noticed another repair order was opened on Friday after I asked for the estimate to be put on my repair order and along with that it also states things I agreed to yet I never did nor do they have anything that says I did!! Not sure what kind of operation they run over there but it sure is shady. Might work on someone that doesn't know any better, but I do!!!!! Terrible dealer. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I had a very good experience buying my Subaru Outback from Schaller. However, after the purchase they dropped the ball. I live out of state and paid their convenience fee to have my car registered for me, and then their third party provider decided to take his/her sweet time getting in done. You have 7 days in Mass to complete the registration and have your car inspected, and their provider took 11. Essentially I could have had my car towed for 4 days during the process. My biggest concern is that after paying for the service I had to manage the convenience charge. After numerous calls, the business manager seemed to have gotten through to the third party, but not after my 5 calls with voicemails to him and sales managers imploring them to call me back and get the job done. They claimed it wasn't their "fault" but when you contract a third party on behalf of your customer, it is your fault. I felt like I had to push them to get it done. Other than this awesome hassle, the experience up front was good, and we were happy with our sales person and their staff. I would contract a new third party for out of state registrations. Replace your provider or have a good talk with them about this experience. read more

Mark the manager at Profile Subaru in Conway is a wonderful guy. I own a taxi company in Conway so far have bought six Subarus and wouldn't hesitate to buy more. It is so nice when someone backs up their product when they really didn't have to. We were well over the mileage and warranty was long gone and yet he was there to help us out . I can't say enough about Subarus and Mark in particular at this dealership. Not to mention how great these cars are in the snow we can go anywhere anytime with Subarus. read more
