Step one would be to go to a review of another dealer I wanted to go to (Wayland Automotive Services, Wayland, MA.)so you can read it FIRST, that way you will know how I got here to Action Automotive!! They were double icky. Chris @ Action is worth the visit. So if you read what I wrote, here is my visit worked out with Chris at Action Automotive. is the rating because that is the most amount of stars that I can choose! We (Rebecca & I) live near Albany NY and wanted a good used vehicle to use as primary transportation year round. Action Automotive was 130 miles each way. Our motorcycles are not good in the snow, neither is her dream car we also bought used (another story) 2008 Vette (triple black rag top) And our Ram is our Mule( 2016 reg. cab,1500, 2wd). Action had a PT Cruiser we were interested in (2008 Base model wagon). It's job would be all short errands, rain and snow also. I was suppose to have been hit in the left rear corner 4 times - that turned out wrong! Chris described the damage over the phone, and if I got there and it was not at described I would turn around and head back home. I drove to his place of business with our Ram, and our 16 foot steel deck trailer. It was not as described, it was actually much better than I thought. I got there a bit late, missed a turn or two but he waited for me. He new I was coming as he fed me the directions I needed. As a result he was stuck at work waiting, He had paper work ready, we talked a bit handed over the money loaded it up (I did not want to keep him there so I skipped a road test - just the 15 feet or so onto the trailer and headed home. Was given a warranty also, but we had a conversation about the 260 mile round trip if it needed any thing. I told him I would most likely fix it myself (I'm an auto tech since 1968 (yeah I'm old - but a hand shake kind of guy-and Chris seemed like one also. Once home I went thru it, called him, made a few repairs that I wanted to do, and needed a repair that was needed, We talked over emails about it, and it was handled via mail. The wife and I LOVE this little car, it just fits like a glove! maybe that is why Chrysler sold 1.3 million of them, in just 10 years of production. If you are near Action Automotive, in Berlin CT make them a stop for service and/or a car-truck, If you do not live close (I don't) they are still worth a stop. actual rating 10 out of 10 Jerry & Rebecca Horn, just north of Albany NY

Guess what, the car hadn't even been touched! When expressing my issue with the service Brian told me we are just going "round and round", and "I'm welcome to take my vehicle elsewhere". I get that "short staffed" is the excuse nowadays, but simply communicate that up front. And when called on the poor service, work to fix it, not tell someone to take a hike. Bought the vehicle here and had collision repair done here also, but this experience is one for the books. If you happen to stumble upon this review before you decide to go here for service, sales or collision repair, heed Brian's advice and take your business elsewhere! I know I will.

After a Thursday evening test drive we returned Saturday morning completely prepared to purchase a vehicle. With paperwork underway, Mike filled the gas tank and brought the vehicle around. En route, he noticed a potential transmission issue and all but refused to let us take it from their lot until their mechanic could look at it. Neither my wife nor I noticed any issues when we test drove the car days prior. For speaking up and doing right by us when he could have kept silent and secured a sure sale, an overly positive review is fitting. Granted, we too felt the "buy it or not, we don't care" attitude as others have made note. We didn't feel pressured to buy, but then again we didn't necessarily feel they wanted our business. The prices on the vehicles we tested were fair. We scoured craigslist, auto trader, kelleybluebook and cars.com before visiting Prestige and their prices were, indeed, lower than elsewhere considering year, mileage, condition, etc. In our experience, in complete contrast to other reviews, these folks do not only care about money. As of the writing of this review, I do not know if our potential purchase had major or minuscule transmission issues. I do know that Mike was looking out for our best interests by not making potential problems our problems. Don't infer their inventory may be mechanically unsound given our experience.
