This place is TRASH and proof that not all dealerships are built equally. I have been a customer of Honda for almost a decade now, I even learned to drive on a Honda as a kid, and my experience at Schaller Honda is making me seriously consider terminating my relationship with this company as a whole. The first time I came to this dealership was in Sep. of 2023 for a simple oil change. The representative brought back paperwork stating that I needed hundreds of dollars of maintenance that I already completed at another location. After questioning this, the answer I got was apparently their systems do not connect. So, instead of asking if the maintenance had been done already they were just going to charge me to do it all over. The second time I came to this dealership was today (Nov. of 2023) for a sunroof that would not fully open. Instead of telling me it was a simple reset issue, they charged me $188.24 in diagnostic fees to press a few buttons in the car and reset the sunroof. Kevin Peart is a P.O.S. They then LIED and told me my car would not start because my battery, the one I have had no issues with and just drove to the dealership on after the car sat all night, was completely dead all of a sudden! After calling them out on this, they said the battery was not dead but was so bad that they would have to jumpstart my car for me to make it home. Of course, they then offered to sell me a new battery complete with installation fees. After questioning this, they then showed me the paperwork from the machine that shows that my battery is by no means new but is still working fine. Guess who just finished running errands around town on his "completely dead" battery? DO NOT LIE; if you want to say something will need to be replaced soon, do so. However, do not lie to customers. I used to work on my cars myself, I only started using the dealership for convenience. I can change my own oil, reset my own sunroof, and switch out my own battery. Y'all give mechanics a bad name; such a shameful way to run a business. I do NOT intend on going back here and I will make sure to tell my family and friends as well.

Damage caused by Schaller Honda when the employee smashed up my car. They have done nothing to help us!

I should have researched dealerships, because I'm reading a lot of reviews that match my experience today. Instead of treating me like the potential buyer I was, and trying to show a reasonable level of customer service, he immediately indicated that he wasn't going to spend "3 hours" with me if I wasn't ready to buy. That they "need to keep the miles low" on the car I was interested in (i.e.-you're not getting a test drive). He referenced the $50k+ price multiple times, suggesting I hadn't even looked at the MSRP or considered what I can afford. He walked away "for a few minutes" while I looked around the car. I stood there waiting for him to return. He was super busy chatting with his colleague, walking through the showroom to step outside and check the weather, then staring at his computer in his office. After 10-15 minutes, I left. No card, no attempt to get contact information. I guess I should have lied when I set expectations early that I wasn't buying that day. I was also courteous enough to show up in the middle of a weekday afternoon (the place was empty), but Jim didn't want to put forth any effort that might not pan out, at the risk (now, a certainty) that he doesn't get a sale. I would have returned and sought another salesperson, but reviews indicates he's not the only problem there. There are plenty of other Acura dealers. Research them and I think you'll end up going elsewhere.

First I…read morebought a used car from Chris over the phone on Nov. 287th of 2025, Yes a while ago but better late than never! Step one would be to go to a review of another dealer I wanted to go to (Wayland Automotive Services, Wayland, MA.)so you can read it FIRST, that way you will know how I got here to Action Automotive!! They were double icky. Chris @ Action is worth the visit. So if you read what I wrote, here is my visit worked out with Chris at Action Automotive. is the rating because that is the most amount of stars that I can choose! We (Rebecca & I) live near Albany NY and wanted a good used vehicle to use as primary transportation year round. Action Automotive was 130 miles each way. Our motorcycles are not good in the snow, neither is her dream car we also bought used (another story) 2008 Vette (triple black rag top) And our Ram is our Mule( 2016 reg. cab,1500, 2wd). Action had a PT Cruiser we were interested in (2008 Base model wagon). It's job would be all short errands, rain and snow also. I was suppose to have been hit in the left rear corner 4 times - that turned out wrong! Chris described the damage over the phone, and if I got there and it was not at described I would turn around and head back home. I drove to his place of business with our Ram, and our 16 foot steel deck trailer. It was not as described, it was actually much better than I thought. I got there a bit late, missed a turn or two but he waited for me. He new I was coming as he fed me the directions I needed. As a result he was stuck at work waiting, He had paper work ready, we talked a bit handed over the money loaded it up (I did not want to keep him there so I skipped a road test - just the 15 feet or so onto the trailer and headed home. Was given a warranty also, but we had a conversation about the 260 mile round trip if it needed any thing. I told him I would most likely fix it myself (I'm an auto tech since 1968 (yeah I'm old - but a hand shake kind of guy-and Chris seemed like one also. Once home I went thru it, called him, made a few repairs that I wanted to do, and needed a repair that was needed, We talked over emails about it, and it was handled via mail. The wife and I LOVE this little car, it just fits like a glove! maybe that is why Chrysler sold 1.3 million of them, in just 10 years of production. If you are near Action Automotive, in Berlin CT make them a stop for service and/or a car-truck, If you do not live close (I don't) they are still worth a stop. actual rating 10 out of 10 Jerry & Rebecca Horn, just north of Albany NY

The technician Lucas hopped in my truck with me and went around for a ride to listen to the noises. They corrected it, brand new parts under warranty. I will have to say the rest of this review is true, their sales dept continues to not be helpful. Even when I came in because the info screen went totally black, the sales guy didn't seem to care and only asked why I bought the truck at another dealer? I know he's not in the service dept, but he didn't even listen to my concerns, only asked if I would come back to buy another new vehicle. This was the Sales Manager too from what he said. Original review: Not knowledgeable at all with trucks. I wasted over two hours there with a sales rep, and I knew way more about the stats of the F150's than he did. I am being honest here, and it may be brutal, however he didn't know simple words such as axle ratio. He was showing me the grid of axle choices and said I should go home and study it. I do use this dealership for my emissions, and have had no problems, they are quick and polite - however I would never buy a new truck from them. I can't speak for other sales reps - only from what I went through. I am happy we went with a different CT Ford dealer, they were extremely knowledgeable about the F150 lineup. Months later I am still getting flyers in the mail, when I was told the offers in my mailbox would stop. Can't stand this company!
