I do not recommend this place. I tried their self service dog wash. Their tubs are too flimsy for…read morelarge dogs. And their shampoo's are so watered down that it just squirts out like tapwater. If you do go, you need to bring your own shampoo. On top of that, the "shampoo" smelled like something that's used commercially to mop floors. I've never smelled that smell before and a shampoo. God only knows what I was washing my dog with. When I asked the guy why the shampoos were so watery, he said that "they were running low so they added some water so that they would go farther until their next shipment arrived." Despite my better judgment, I also brought my Shih Tzu there for full grooming because she needed a haircut. When I dropped her off for her APPOINTMENT, the person that was going to groom her told me it would take a couple of hours meaning she would be ready by 11am, having a 9a appointment. At 11:15am I called the store to see if my dog was ready. The Store manager answered the phone and informed me that she would be ready around 2 PM because "they had a lot of walk-ins and other dogs that needed to be groomed too". I said well that's why I made an appointment and that the lady that was grooming my dog said that she would only take about two hours and would be ready at 11 AM. This person on the phone continued to argue with me about "you don't know how dog grooming businesses work," among other abrasive comments. I had gone out to run errands during these two hours and was nearby which is why I called. I decided to go ahead and go over there and pick up my dog - in whatever condition she was in. I figured if she was going to be another 3 hours, she was probably still in a cage waiting for her bath. When I arrived, they brought up my dog, who appeared to have already had her bath and haircut, Which made me extra confused - if she was already finished why did they tell me that she wouldn't be ready until 2 PM? When it was time to pay, one of the employees had to go back and ask what the charge would be for the grooming service. He came back flustered and said it would be $90! For a 15 pound Shih Tzu! I asked why it was so high, and he just said that's the price he was told. I asked to see a price sheet and he acted like he didn't know if one existed. Then he pulled out a price sheet that was laminated on a chain right there by the cash register and told me how these were "old prices from years ago" when he first started even though it was on a chain and laminated and right there dangling from the cash register. The price sheet for a Shih Tzu said $65 and up. I would certainly like to know why I was charged $90! Of course, there was no explanation. I cannot emphasize enough how much I do not recommend this place - self-serve or full groom. Save yourself a headache and possibly injury to your pet and go someplace else!

This facility advertises that they accept dogs with special needs, so I paid for their required 5-HOUR EVALUATION ($30) before boarding. After the evaluation, they told me my dog passed and was approved for boarding. A few days later, I dropped him off for an overnight stay. About an hour after I left--and while I was already on my way out of town--the OWNER called and told me I had to come back immediately and pick him up. The reasons she gave were things their staff should have EASILY NOTICED during the 5-hour evaluation!! Nothing she mentioned was new or unexpected. THEIR FAILURE TO DO THIER JOB BECAME MY EMERGENCY. The entire situation was a complete waste of time and money. Even worse was the owner's attitude. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and took zero responsibility for her staff's mistakes. If you have a dog with special needs, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Poor communication, poor staff training, and very poor customer service.

The dogs had a great time socializing and chasing balls (a funny game of ball tag with their muzzles on as greyhounds have thin skin and can get nicked and bleed easily so muzzling is the norm at meet ups). He has friends. (We sign in on occasion and watch him playing through their live-stream site.) And Jessica does an excellent job grooming our adorable mixed breed pup! Well, This time we left him for weekend boarding. Barklandia is still top dog in our book! They accommodated his special diet without any reservations, and he played the entire weekend. How can we tell? He's exhausted. After his initial excitement of being home, he went straight to his bed. Yogi only does this when he's exhausted. We requested an exit bath, so of course he got one. Because he's been going to Barklandia for daycare, we had no concerns about leaving him for the weekend. It's obvious the entire staff loves dogs. They have proven to be honest and trustworthy! Usually groomers keep my dog for hours and hours on end despite the fact he's a small, single coat, short hair dog that I know super easy and quick to groom. At woof gang he's done in 30-45 minutes which is awesome and they give me a heads up when they're close to finishing. It's great to not have to block out a whole day just to get my 10 pound dog groomed. The bakery is amazing too, they always have a huge assortment of reasonably priced treats and toys that my dog loves! So he always gets a little something special for the ride home after he's groomed. Great local business that I'm glad to have in the neighborhood. He didn't react at all, which shocked me because he usually barks or growls at people he doesn't know. Instead, he completely surprised me and licked her face.
