I went to the self wash (after hours because my dog is reactive with other dogs).

This is the only store in the area that sells Primal and they carry a nice selection of the fresh frozen food. The employees know the products and are very helpful. Used to live in Washington and every natural pet store I found living there for 12 years have all put this store down to one star. First time I went in, a young women with blonde hair, no glasses helped me out. She was really nice and told me if my dogs didn't eat the NWN raw food I could exchange it. They ate the bag after not eating for a day. So next time I buy another bag and a bag of small batch. Who I'm assuming was the owner and a much older employee were both stand offish and not very welcoming. I got a look when I asked for treats with healthy grain. They did say I could exchange either bag if my dogs didn't eat it. Third time is the charm and last time I'll be shopping here. I went to exchange the NWN as they didn't touch it. The young women did not want to return the bag, and told me it would be just go to waste. I told her what she wanted me to do about that, maybe they should change their store policies as I was told twice I could exchange or return. She said yes if only the dogs refused to it. I told her again, they didn't touch a single nugget. Refused to eat the food. Not sure what the difference between saying they didn't eat the food, verse refused to eat it. Guilt tripping a customer returning food is such bad taste like Hahahah I had to sit in my car have a good wtf laugh and write this review. Onto the next natural store. Lucky for me healthy pet is closer. Let's hope they are nicer to their customers and don't try to guilt them returning product they said they could return or exchange.

The vet said extremely likely came from the grooming. What was supposed to be a $95 bath and groom has now cost me $237. -------------- I had requested the 15 step grooming package listed $95 for my size dog on their website (which did not include haircut). When the groomer arrived, she asked what kind of haircut I wanted for my dog. I told her that I ordered the 15 step grooming package and just wanted to paws, sanitary cut, and trimmed around the eyes (what was included in the package). Flash forward, I get a text saying my dog is done and it's $130. I walked out to the van and asked why there was an extra charge and she told me it was booked as a groom and a haircut. I told her that that's not what I sent them and the price is listed as $95 on their website for what I requested. She told me she didn't know what was on their website. She also told me, "we nickel and dime for everything." Probably not something you should say to a customer who's complaining that you're charging them above the listed price of what was requested. The groom itself was decent minus the bowl cut my dog now seems to have. Wouldn't book with them again.

At a previous appointment, we had specifically discussed making arrangements to avoid putting him in the dryer. Despite that, I was told during this visit that he was placed in and dryer and made that same distress sound. I was also asked to come in three hours earlier than my scheduled time and he would be ready in 2-3 hours. When I hadn't heard anything, I called and was then told he would not be ready until much later. No one contacted me to let me know there was a delay or that there has been an issue. What was most disappointing was how my concern was handled by the owner, Andrea when I arrived. Instead of acknowledging the communication breakdown or my concern for my dog, I felt dismissed and argued with rather than listen to. Instead of acknowledging my concerns about a blind senior dog in distress, I was made to feel like I was the problem for speaking up. To make matters worse, the owner told me not to bring Oscar back, calling me argumentative. Pet owners should be able to advocate for their dog's safety and comfort without being dismissed or penalized for it. Oscar appears to be okay, and I am grateful for that. But this experience was stressful, unprofessional, and not appropriate for a dog with known special needs. Oscar has been going to Annie's for a long time. Very disappointing, stressful and my dog did not get groomed in the 4 hours he was there.
