Today, I went to have my puppy's nails trimmed after calling to confirm there was someone there to trim them. Once I arrived, I was told a mask is manditory, which I have abandoned and have none with me, but no one told me this when I called. And, there were no customers in the store. Then I was instructed to wait outside until her nails were done but there were no chairs to sit in to wait. While I was walking to the door to wait outside, my puppy escaped from her collar and ran to me, probably thinking I was leaving her. The staff restraining her became frantic and hollered at me to catch her. This only aggitated my puppy more and they had to drag her off with two leashes. I drive out of my way to support this business but they are too busy with other distractions to care professionally for their customers and dogs. If they require masks that no one else in the area requires, then they should alert customers in advance, manage situations, and provide a comfortable waiting area or masks for those without.

Boy were we wrong! We were greeted immediately upon entering. We gravitated towards the dog and cat supplies since we have dogs and a cat and were SO amazed at the variety of food and treats that they have! Some of the treat items were very unusual and interesting. We even found a dog doormat that we've been looking for in our area but hadn't had any luck. The clerk was so friendly and knowledgeable and also knew her regular customers by name. Totally different experience than going into a chain pet store. They have baby chicks for sale which was posted on a sign outside and what drew us in. They have items for horses, rabbits, chinchillas, reptiles, birds, toy horses, some people snacks, and so much more! This is definitely a "superstore" and a place that we won't hesitate to visit again the next time we're in Orlando. If you have any pets, you should definitely give this place a try!

I had to board my three dogs for the Thanksgiving weekend. This was a location I found that I…read morethought would best be suitable for them. I knew the price was going to be expensive especially since it was happening the week of Thanksgiving. However, I did get a nice discount by showing them my teacher ID which saved me $100 on my total, so that was nice. The staff here seemed pretty nice. I had no issue with check in or dealing with the staff. They seemed knowledgable and friendly. The facility has cameras all over where you can tune in for free via their webcams and see what your dogs are up to when they are at play time. When we dropped them off on Thursday I saw them on the webcam outside hanging out with other dogs. I felt pretty good when I saw my dogs having fun with the other doggies. Unfortunately, this was the last time I ever saw them on the webcams. I was on a cruise from Friday till Monday. I bought the internet package on my cruise specifically so I could check in on my dogs to see how they were doing. I did not have a schedule for when my dogs would be outside for play time to check in on them. Therefore, it was all chance and luck. Well, either I was very unlucky or something fishy was going on. On Friday morning, I logged in at 6 AM and did not see my dogs outside, but did see other dogs outside with one of the handlers. Later on in the day, I checked in again around 10 AM and 11 AM--still did not see my dogs. I continued this process for the next several days at random times, (6, 7, 10, 11, 1, 3, 4, & 5 PM) and I still never saw any of my dogs on any of the webcams. I thought it was really strange though that I kept seeing the same batches of dogs other than my own. On Monday, I came to pick up my dogs. They looked and acted fine, but I still wonder to this day why I never had the chance to see them on webcam. It just left a weird feeling in my gut. On top of that, I only received one report card about how my dog did while I was gone. The responses to how my dog did felt very AI-generated and not personable. So at the end of the day I have no idea what happened with my dogs' stay at Pet Paradise. Hopefully they were treated well and got plenty of time to run around outside and socialize with other dogs because I never witnessed it besides day one.

Having a Shih tzu, sometime groomers can cut them too look a certain gender. I had never know my Macy was getting a boys cut! Zachis highly recommendable. You can tell he has a lot of experience. He's a very kind soul who made Macy feel comfortable at the groomers. If you have a rescue who can sometimes be shy, Zach can really help to make their experience as trauma free as possible. Because he's been doing it for so long, he often finds things I would have never thought to look for. For example, Macy's ears needed cleaning and I had never really thought I could do it. Apparently, her type of breed is known for ear infections, and sure enough she had what looked to be like one. Zach pointed it out (Making me feel like a bad dog mom but I am eternally grateful he showed me) and gave me tips on how to clean her ears myself so I could make sure it doesn't get too bad. (He was not diagnosing her, as he is not a vet, rather he was just stating how Shih Tzus need their ears cleaned regularly.) Four corners is really affordable too. They never try to overprice for your dog and really give you what you pay for. If you're looking for a new groomer I really suggest you check them out. And don't forget to ask for Zach! Oh and by the way, I hear he's an excellent cat groomer as well. I don't have a cat, so I cannot give advice on the quality, but if it's anywhere close to his dog grooming skills your feline will come out looking fabulous!

I brought both of my dogs in for grooming recently, after a fairly traumatic incident with a previous grooming experience (at a different groomer) I was quite nervous for how my youngest dog would react to the groomer. Katie, the groomer at Woof Gangs was fantastic. From the moment we walked in she quickly came up with a plan that would prevent my dog from having a break down, and got her back to me fully groomed within 35 minutes. Our other dog, is a large poodle and has a ton of complicated hair. Katie took great care of him and spent the time to ensure she was able to get his fur in great shape for the summer. Our dog has never had a better hair cut in the time we've had him than our last appointment. I would be remiss to leave out the staff behind the counter, everyone who I've interacted with at this location was fantastic. Even after a slight miscommunication on my part, the grooming went off without a hitch! Not looking for grooming? Woof Gangs has so many other fantastic items for you pet such as food, dog treats, CBD treats for calming, custom birthday goodies for your pup, and some high end refrigerated dog food. I like to get the treats for our dogs here because they have high quality treats without extra fillers and garbage.

Unfortunately, this had happened twice before at the same location, which is why I kept changing groomers. I left the store but called back just 10 minutes later because I was worried they would do it again. After being put on hold, the manager, Sam, told me Bailey had ALREADY BEEN SHAVED! When I questioned how this could happen after our conversation, I was told, "Your dog needed it." When I said I would share my experience on social media, the owner yelled at me, called me a "shitty owner" twice, and told me to come get my half-shaved dog. I told them I would report the incident to corporate, and the manager mocked me, saying it was a franchise. I later contacted the owner and asked her to review the security cameras and phone recordings. She said she would, but I never heard back. My question is: If a paying customer can be yelled at, insulted, and accused of neglecting their dog simply for questioning a service they explicitly refused, how can we trust how our pets are treated behind closed doors? Everyone in Lake Nona knows Bailey and my family. She is not just a pet; she is an essential part of our family, and we take excellent care of her. This experience was a major red flag regarding the professionalism and behavior of the management. After being treated this way and seeing my instructions ignored, I would not feel comfortable leaving Bailey, my friends' pets, or any pet in their care. Please think twice before trusting this location with your beloved pets.
