Since The decoy seminar, I have worked very closely with Tai and Lexi when it comes to obedience and bite work with dogs. Throughout the months, I got to see in person and through their social media pages that they are meant for this profession. They are able to work with all breeds and size of the dog does not matter. I have seen clients walk out the front door with smiles on their faces with their dogs are also really well behaved because of the work that Lexi, Tai, and also their trainer Max does daily. They had previously been boarded at another…read morefacility but they were fully booked and Woof Tang, while quite a drive, was highly rated and had the cameras for their rooms that we love to have. First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.

My dog wasn't understanding cues from other dogs that they were tired and not interested in playing. So rather than help her understand the cues and work with her they just stuck her in a crate. This created more anxiety because she didn't understand that this was not punishment. I would continually get calls saying she got in a scuffle and was the dog always blamed. Yet when watching the webcam I saw instances of favoritism, not enough training for the staff and too large of a dog to people ratio. Every time I went to pick my dog up she was anxious and the front desk staff had nothing nice to say about her. I was finally told after her last visit that she is dismissed from the center because she is poorly behaved. The manager never met with me face to face but only called me. My dog has earned her AKC canine good citizen award and is working on her community level award. If she is experiencing anxiety due to the sounds and smells that is not her fault.

We use their doggie day care 1-3x week and have also used for minor grooming like baths and nail trims. We also get our pet food from them along with a number of toys and treats. She doesn't carry anything she wouldn't give to her own pups, and many toys have tested in DDC. My dog loves it so much that he sits by the garage door every morning hoping its a DDC day!

Whisker Park took him in without an appointment, right before closing, and handled the whole thing with genuine warmth and empathy. The facility is immaculate and clearly designed with cats in mind. The staff -- especially Mimi and Beth -- went above and beyond to make Caspian feel at home, even accommodating his somewhat particular eating schedule without any fuss. We also took advantage of their grooming services: Caspian got a full groom and dematting, and he's been moving so much more comfortably since. He seemed completely at ease, which tells me everything. We're already planning to bring him back for his next grooming. We are in love with Rocky's Retreat!…read more We dropped off our girl Margot for the week while we went on a cruise. We were bit worried about being able to have access to updates but the team was able to send via email so we were never out of the loop! This was our first time boarding Margot and we were concerned about how anxious she might get. She was adopted from a hoarding situation and is still getting used to the world. I shouldn't have even bothered to worry because the team went above and beyond to work at her pace and make sure she felt comfortable. We received daily updates of how she was doing and even saw her make new friends. When we picked her up she didn't even seem like she wanted to go--in fact when we took her outside later and home she tried to run back to the car (we think she's ready for another week of puppy camp as we call it). Another thing we love about Rocky's is they are inclusive of dogs with additional needs. It's hard to find places that truly care for your pets like you do, and safe to say we lucked out with this one. Can't wait for the next time!
