photo of my puppy taken 6 weeks ago and the photo I showed the groomer and said I wanted her to look the same as in photo.

I showed the groomer a photo of my doodle puppy. I explicitly stated that I did not want her shaved and cut like the dogs that were being groomed at the time. I said I like her "scruffy" look and did not want her hair cut short. I stated I wanted the hair around her private parts and her eyes clipped, but I wanted her to look like she did in the picture taken six weeks ago. I am distraught that they "shaved" my puppy...even around the eyes. The top of her head looks like a poodle "puff". She doesn't even look like the same dog. To top it all off, the manager was argumentative and continually interrupted me. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said the owner was unavailable. I do NOT recommend this place. Apparently, they do not listen to their customers, and they are put out when the customers complain about the finished result.

My husband and I have been going to Plush Paws for years and there has never been a mistake! Our pretty girl always comes back looking and smelling beautiful and so so happy, you can tell she enjoys her time there. I definitely recommend this company to everyone with furry babies!

The whole team was so kind and helpful! Gabi is such a wonderful groomer and was so patient with Blue's first grooming appointment, he will definitely be back to see his new friend!

What a fabulous job they did on my 10 yr old Maine Coon cat today. He came home smelling so clean and I can tell he feels so much better with just how happy he is. My wife said all of the staff was so friendly and very quick too, less than two hours in and out. It's so hard to find a cat groomer and a good one at that - so I am very pleased to say that this will be our go-to from now on. Thank you!!

Had a wonderful experience today! We moved from lake Mary to downtown Orlando and we debated going back to our old groomer (woof gang lake Mary) but that can be a 30-45 minutes drive so we had to find a new groomer. After reading the reviews I chose Plush Paws. I was very pleased! Cora is 56 pound Samoyed(double coat). I asked for a bath with shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brushing, nail trim and grinding, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, Teeth brushing, and for them to trim up her paws. I had read a few bad reviews on here so I was a little nervous. They still had the best reviews in my opinion so I gave it a shot. I was very thorough explaining exactly what I wanted. Even emailed them pictures of her after getting groomed at our previous groomer. They were very nice about all my high-maintenance-ness! haha I think communication is key and didn't want any miscommunications when it came to my little princess cora. Again thank you so much! We will be back next month!

Gabi did such a great job with Riley's grooming! I am an anxious pet parent and I project that onto my dog but Gabi was patient and reassuring. Riley smelled amazing and looked soooo cute after her appointment!

Sainty loves every one here & I just love his haircuts. The only place that doesn't poodle my doodle. Appointments are convenient to book online & if there's ever a schedule change needed, communication is great. I have a busy life style so I appreciate the open communication more than anything. Never had an issue, 10/10 recommend!

My dog, Kakashi, after a mini groom with Tina at Plush Paws

Ive been going to Plush Paws for almost 5 years now, ever since my dog was a puppy and I can't recommend them enough!! Tina is amazing with my dog and he always looks SO good after a groom with her. When Tina isn't available, I've had other groomers at this establishment groom my dog and again, always super happy with the outcome. I can confidently trust all of the staff! And they are always so happy to see my little fluff ball :) I'll be coming here for as long as I live in Central Florida.

My Chow Mushu always has fin at their daycare and it's nice to see updates online. Staff is always friendly. his baths are great too. Never had any problems.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!! If I could leave 0 stars for this salon, I would. I truly can't believe how unprofessional the groomers are, and more importantly, the owner of the salon. I brought my 8 year old dog in on October 7th for a full groom. A few days later I noticed there were tons of red bumps on her belly, that she had a bunch of bloody scabs in both of her ears, and she was rubbing her butt on the carpet so much that it became raw and inflamed. I called the salon on the 11th, didn't get an answer, so I left a voicemail explaining my concerns and asking if the groomer noticed any bumps on her belly or scabs in her ears during the groom, not placing any blame or trying to get someone in trouble, just genuinely trying to figure out the timeline. I left my name and number and never received a call back. I called again on October 14th, and I did speak with the woman who groomed my dog. I asked if she noticed any bumps on her belly or scabs in her ears, she said she did not. I asked her what products she used on her or if the blade was possibly dull, just trying to figure out why she was having this reaction. I told her I could send her pictures of what I saw so she could try to help me figure out what may have caused it. First she said, "oh well she's just a puppy and sometimes puppies react badly to their first groom." Again, my dog is 8 years old and has been groomed a countless amount of times, so that's not an option. She then apologized that it was a very busy day and she may not have properly sanitized her blades, and for that she was sorry. Then she offered to give my dog a medical bath free of charge. I thought about it for a bit, and I felt very uncomfortable bringing my dog back into a salon where a groomer admitted to not properly sanitizing. This was a huge red flag to me. On October 16th, I brought my dog to the vet as her skin was only getting worse. They ran some labs on her and determined that the bumps on her belly were a skin infection. The bloody scabs in her ears were most likely from an allergic reaction. They also had to express her anal glands as they had not been properly expressed, which is a service that is typically included in a full groom. I paid $78 including a tip to get my 12 pound dog groomed, then spent $288 at the vet between the visit, labs, expression, and medication my dog must now be on for 3 weeks. I was very upset and disappointed about all of this, so on October 17th, I went into the salon with pictures and the itemized bill from my vet, and asked to please speak with the owner or a manager. I felt at this point, I needed to inform her of the situation. I was told there was no manager and the owner was not in. One of the groomers asked what was wrong so I explained a little bit about what was happening. I was very calm and again expressed that I would like to speak to the salon owner and not a groomer, as I did not want any confrontation. The groomer who groomed my dog ended up speaking to me (which I find very unprofessional as I had already expressed I wanted to speak with the owner). She, of course, denied everything she said, and took no ownership for her actions. She took my name and number down for the salon owner to call me. I never received a call. On October 20th, I called the salon once again, asking to speak to the owner, and was told she was not in again. I told the woman I spoke to that I had come in on Tuesday and left my name and number and was still waiting for a call, she took my name and number to give to the owner and said she would be calling me, but yet again, she has not reached out. I find it so incredibly unprofessional and disappointing to not reach out to a client who expressed they are unhappy and was truly worried about the service they paid for. I feel the groomers negligence and lack of professional is what caused my poor baby to have such a bad reaction. I have tried and tried to hustle have a conversation and have been completely pushed aside. My dog has been suffering and the owner has NEVER reached out. Do not spend your $$ here!!

Rosco loves this little pet salon! They do his manis/pedis (mail clipping and grind) amazing and give him a good teeth brushing! He always gets a little scared at the groomers, but they do a great job of making him feel comfortable. They also sell super cute toys - like his pupachino!

The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. I enrolled them both together. Archie, is an incredibly stubborn 6 year old husky and Pongo is my overly excited, talking 10 month old Husky. They blend well together but they are not everyone's cup of tea! I trusted these two and their team and they did wonders with compassion, patience and professionalism! My dogs are the core of my world, so as most dog owners I worry how others treat my dogs when away. Lexi would touch in almost everyday, she communicated reports with honesty on progress & she let me know when a post of their training was hitting the social so I could feel better being apart. Recently, when I had to evacuate from St Pete during both of these recent hurricanes to Orlando, the team took them right in and explained to me the precautions and procedures they would be taking with them. This team even stayed overnight during the storms! Talk about going the extra mile. Lexi is amazing at communication and I still ask her questions about training because it's an everyday practice here with my two! Tai radiates love when he talks to the dogs. The staff is very professional, clean, organized and educates you on the different packages/pricing & knows your dog! Also they take great photography of the dogs! (photo of the work added!) Bottom line, if you found this facility and you If you love your dog(s) you struck gold!! I have been bringing them since they opened their doors and I will be loyal to this team forever. I scheduled an initial Zoom meeting in October 2020 but had to reschedule due to being exposed to COVID and needing to quarantine and get tested. She was very understanding, and we rescheduled for December, and then she messaged me the day of our appointment that she had a minor emergency and needed to reschedule. Of course, this is understandable. We had our Zoom meeting the first week of December, and it went well! She said she would email me some documents THAT NIGHT on what I could get started on working with my dog, and then we could have an in-person appointment in January! She also said to contact her whenever with any questions- which turned out to be an empty statement, if you were the kind of person looking for a response when you contact someone. Unfortunately, I had to bother her several times as I never received the documents, and I finally did- a full month later, in January. I understand that she was on vacation, but still, an entire month of waiting for some PDFs? Due to an incident with our dogs, I had to ask if she would be willing to work with two dogs instead of one and wanted to make certain our appointment would still stand. I called her office, tried to text her, and received no response until she texted me that she had an open "phone call appointment" for a week later. I tried to explain the situation over text, and said that if she wasn't willing to work with both, I would totally understand, and we could look for a new trainer for both dogs. I received a response of "If that's what you think is best." I was taken aback by this and reiterated that if she was willing, I would really like to keep working with her. She then said she could, and I asked again for the PDFs she never sent, and I received them that night. We set an appointment for the last week of January, and I was looking forward to it because our home situation had become very complicated with our dogs being in a tiff. I had been working on the commands in the PDF and was seeing an improvement in my dog. We waited for about a month for our appointment. At 6 am the day before our appointment, I get an automated email from her site saying our session has been cancelled, and I need to reschedule. I texted her, asking if this was a mistake and that I was confused, and if something had happened. I received no response, so I messaged her via the site, asking if she was no longer available for our session. She replied with "Yes, I'm no longer available" with no further explanation. I asked if she had a different time that day, because her next appointment on the site was weeks later, and we waited a month for our appointment. I said if not, we really couldn't wait all over again, and I would like to ask for a refund. I received no response. Today, I got an automated email from the site saying I will have my refund in up to 10 days. I feel as if I wasted both my time waiting for an appointment and my money on our initial session. Sure, she could be a great trainer, if you actually can get ahold of her, and she seemed nice enough when we met over Zoom, but unfortunately, I wouldn't waste your time or money.

After 8 weeks with Paul Wade is a totally different dog, and we are completely different dog parents. We are able to have friends and children at our house now and going on walks is actually enjoyable. We never have any anxiety concerning our dog because Paul has given us a solution and plan for pretty much anything we could run into. Paul has the perfect personality for what he does and makes you and your dog feel confident from the start. Believe me if you're on the fence, this is worth the money. Make sure if you invest the money you also invest the time. Do the homework and keep up with it. You and your dog will be so happy you did!

Where do I start? From the minute I talked to Paul on the phone I knew he was the one for us! A…read morecouple of days later he came to our home and met our Lily and Putter. He was able to observe their behavior and talk to us about different plans. Not only did he we feel confident in what he was talking about but we felt his compassion and devotion towards our babies. This is definitely not just a job for him but a passion. We opted to board and train both of them. Lily is our 3 year old. She WAS completely out of control. Lily had become quite aggressive and many times we couldn't even walk past her without her growling and jumping at us. I had been bitten by Lily a few times just putting her harness on her (drew blood once). Outside walking her had become more than a chore. She would jump on anyone that came near us and then started barking and showing aggression towards outsiders as well. Lily was in full control of our home and lives. I was at my end. Putter is our 2 year old. I was not planning on getting any training for Putter until my husband suggested it. Putter's issues WERE his walking me and showing aggression towards any other animals. Keep in mind Putter is only 10lbs. but had no fear towards a 100lb. dog. I had thought as long as I held on to him he would be fine. All in all both were out of control. On the day Paul came to pick them up all I could do was cry and almost backed out (Thank God I didn't). Paul was amazing with keeping us updated on their progress. Over the course of the 2 week training he would text us to let us know how they were and we received many pictures and videos. We always seemed to have questions (I have to admit now some were pretty silly). Paul without hesitation answered all of them. Lily and Putter are home and for the first time in a LONG time we are enjoying them. The first couple of days we were a little nervous trying to maintain what they had learned but again Paul never let us down. They tried to revert back to their old ways but Paul trained us as well! What we also really love is Paul is not done with us. Not only is this a lifetime commitment for us but him as well. Lily has showed no signs of aggression and has stopped jumping on everyone. Putter no longer walks me and shows no aggression towards other animals. We are all so much calmer and happier now. They sit, stay, heel, place whenever asked. They are receiving positive attention now and are loving it. I can't thank Orlando Dog Wizard enough for helping us make our home happy again.
