The instructors were all helpful and I loved seeing my dog's progress. We were diligent about attending and practicing. When both my grandfather and mother fell ill and died within 3 months of each other during the holiday season of 2024, I could no longer make the sessions with my dog. Truly they were forgotten during this time of extreme hardship. A couple months later when I could breathe again, I remembered our sessions and went to reserve a class but couldn't because my package had expired. I called and was told that nothing could be done, as this was the policy. These are privately-owned franchise locations, and the owners have the ability to create and revise policies to help their customers - it is their choice to take a customer's money in upfront packages and then refuse to extend any goodwill or flexibility. The classes I attended were rarely full. It would not have hurt their business in any way to allow me to utilize the classes I had already purchased. Looking at other reviews, they have a pattern of treating customers this way. If they had let me use the classes that I bought, I surely would've kept coming and even bought more sessions. But it's not worth it to me to support a business that treats its customers like this.

We have been going to classes since she was just over 6th months old, we were biweekly/weekly for the first year and a half and now we pop in every few months for practice. We did a few private classes to troubleshoot issues and those were very productive and I felt the staff went above and beyond helping my dog overcome her fear of the teeter. The staff is incredible, they are all welcoming, kind and so knowledgeable. They have great suggestions in fixing behaviors and ate always willing to help with different training techniques. I would still go weekly if I could, and I fully plan to take all of my future puppies/dogs here for training and socializing.

I make the drive from St Pete to Orlando because this is the only place I completely trust with my dogs. In July of 2024 I decided to make the training investement with both. I knew the mad skills and talents that Lexi & Tai have with dogs and both of mine needed the professional assistance. I enrolled them both together. Archie, is an incredibly stubborn 6 year old husky and Pongo is my overly excited, talking 10 month old Husky. They blend well together but they are not everyone's cup of tea! I trusted these two and their team and they did wonders with compassion, patience and professionalism! My dogs are the core of my world, so as most dog owners I worry how others treat my dogs when away. Lexi would touch in almost everyday, she communicated reports with honesty on progress & she let me know when a post of their training was hitting the social so I could feel better being apart. Recently, when I had to evacuate from St Pete during both of these recent hurricanes to Orlando, the team took them right in and explained to me the precautions and procedures they would be taking with them. This team even stayed overnight during the storms! Talk about going the extra mile. Lexi is amazing at communication and I still ask her questions about training because it's an everyday practice here with my two! Tai radiates love when he talks to the dogs. After 8 weeks with Paul Wade is a totally different dog, and we are completely different dog parents. We are able to have friends and children at our house now and going on walks is actually enjoyable. We never have any anxiety concerning our dog because Paul has given us a solution and plan for pretty much anything we could run into. He was able to observe their behavior and talk to us about different plans. Not only did he we feel confident in what he was talking about but we felt his compassion and devotion towards our babies. This is definitely not just a job for him but a passion. We opted to board and train both of them. Lily is our 3 year old. She WAS completely out of control. Lily had become quite aggressive and many times we couldn't even walk past her without her growling and jumping at us. I had been bitten by Lily a few times just putting her harness on her (drew blood once). Outside walking her had become more than a chore. She would jump on anyone that came near us and then started barking and showing aggression towards outsiders as well. Lily was in full control of our home and lives. I was at my end. Putter is our 2 year old. I was not planning on getting any training for Putter until my husband suggested it. Putter's issues WERE his walking me and showing aggression towards any other animals. Keep in mind Putter is only 10lbs. but had no fear towards a 100lb. dog. I had thought as long as I held on to him he would be fine. All in all both were out of control. On the day Paul came to pick them up all I could do was cry and almost backed out (Thank God I didn't). Paul was amazing with keeping us updated on their progress. Over the course of the 2 week training he would text us to let us know how they were and we received many pictures and videos. We always seemed to have questions (I have to admit now some were pretty silly). Paul without hesitation answered all of them. Lily and Putter are home and for the first time in a LONG time we are enjoying them. The first couple of days we were a little nervous trying to maintain what they had learned but again Paul never let us down. They tried to revert back to their old ways but Paul trained us as well! What we also really love is Paul is not done with us. Not only is this a lifetime commitment for us but him as well. Lily has showed no signs of aggression and has stopped jumping on everyone. Putter no longer walks me and shows no aggression towards other animals. We are all so much calmer and happier now. They sit, stay, heel, place whenever asked. They are receiving positive attention now and are loving it. I can't thank Orlando Dog Wizard enough for helping us make our home happy again.

I recently…read moreadopted my beautiful pitbull Pepper and I wanted to keep her active, healthy, and socialized with other dogs. That's when I found Natural Instincts on a Google search and decided to give it a shot. I signed up for the agility classes. For 99$ you can attend agility class either Saturday or Sunday morning for 6 sessions. The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. A lot of obedience classes and dog day cares unfortunately discriminate against pitbulls but at Natural Instincts they are extremely bully friendly. Oh and they always have someone with a professional camera taking amazing pics of you & your dog. It's definitely nice having all these wonderful pictures of my dog (it's not like my camera isn't already full of pics of her). I have one week left from this 6 week package but I'll definitely purchase a new 6 week pass next class.

Today, I went to have my puppy's nails trimmed after calling to confirm there was someone there to trim them. Once I arrived, I was told a mask is manditory, which I have abandoned and have none with me, but no one told me this when I called. And, there were no customers in the store. Then I was instructed to wait outside until her nails were done but there were no chairs to sit in to wait. While I was walking to the door to wait outside, my puppy escaped from her collar and ran to me, probably thinking I was leaving her. The staff restraining her became frantic and hollered at me to catch her. This only aggitated my puppy more and they had to drag her off with two leashes. I drive out of my way to support this business but they are too busy with other distractions to care professionally for their customers and dogs. If they require masks that no one else in the area requires, then they should alert customers in advance, manage situations, and provide a comfortable waiting area or masks for those without.

Often times my mom would say my dog looks like Betty Boop with the way the groomer trims his ears. This however, was not the case here at the Winter Park Pet Villa. My dog actually looked cute after his haircut! The groomer knew what he was doing, and not only did I get my dog back with shorter hair, but the style suited my dog. The groomer knew how to cut my dog's hair to fit his breed. The groomer was very nice and accommodating to what I wanted. There are 8 time slots available each day. The order the dogs are dropped off between 8-10 will determine what order the dogs are groomed. Depending on the number in line, the groomer can give an estimate time your dog will be ready for pickup. I definitely recommend this place, and I will be returning.
