Finally, two years ago I gave in and bought a new Salem Forest River from Scenic. Sales department was great but there service department leaves a lot to be desired. Called last week on this new trailer because in 2 weeks time, the ac unit quit working, the stereo system died and we had a LP gas smell. Took two days to get on site even though we were staying at trailer. Service man confirmed ac needs to be replaced, could not attempt to fix stereo system, and found a stove valve open, but did not check further. Later that day, gas smell returned and we found out that the heater gas valve is bad which should have been checked during visit, but they were in too big of a hurry to replace another ac unit in our campground to do a thorough check.. Obviously no warranty at this point in time. I am now purchasing the ac unit direct for $480 when they quoted me $800 for exact unit. Wanted additional $200 to install when it takes about 20 minutes ( 4 bolts to remove and replace). Never again will I purchase or have any service done by this company. And the upshot is, an RV manufacturer warranty is only as good as the DEALER you buy it from. I cannot stress this enough. For those wanting more details on our experience...read on. But in summary, Roskopfs backs their product like no other, even years after purchase. My family and I purchased our first RV in 2019 from Roskopf's, acting on the many recommendations that I received. Roskopf's advertises themselves as the value leader, and I believe that sums up our experience with them perfectly. Working with both Corey and Gary Roskopf was a comfortable no pressure experience. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and forthcoming. I left the dealership feeling strongly that I made the right decision to buy with them given their reputation, built over several decades, for backing the products they sell. As far as price is concerned, I've been known to hop on a plane to another state to purchase an vehicle to save $$. Fortunately Roskopf's price was very competitive. That said if places like camping world was several thousands cheaper, in hindsight I would still choose Roskopfs. Because I know when something goes wrong it'll end up costing more in the long run because you'll end up being out of pocket for the repairs and/or missing a trip (and likely deposit $$) due to long repair lead times. Since 2019 we've driven our RV across the country twice and up and down Wisconsin dozens of times visiting state parks. There have been manufacturing related issues from poor seals to under manufactured frame components. Each time, Brian and his service team was there to save the day. And with the all the miles driven and family memories cultivated, these issues never once kept us from our travels and/or put a dent in our pocketbook. And the upgrades I've had their team install were very reasonable. I've learned that recently Roskopfs was purchased by Campers Inn. My business will remain here with Brian and Gary staying on along with their mentality that customer is at the very center of their business. Call me a fanboy, but through hard work and good business practices Brian and Gary have earned my loyalty.

Made a appointment to have pump looked at/replaced. when i arrived they asked if i was waiting or dropping off. said was not discussed so he checked the schedule and said they could do it now!!! 1.5 hours later all done. pump had a crack in it. No idea how or when it happened. replaces with abetter one. But a big shout out to the service dept. on fast turn around. have never been to a place with such fast service. This is why i will continue to bring back camper for service here. most places have a drop off day then they look at it week later and your lucky if you get your camper back in a month. keep up the good work guys.

Was under the understanding that when they left, everything would be working and functional. We had to pay extra for the sewer hook ups. The trailer was 5-6" out of level and the washer leaked. 2 weeks later the hot water heater doesn't work and they are charging me $400 more for fixing that. Service is horrible. You can't ever seem to get ahold of anyone. And now that they bought out Quiet Woods they just use the disclaimer that they are trying to just make things right with the customers from the "old store" but have no obligations to them. I wouldn't buy a camper or RV from here ever again. And I certainly will never use their service centers again. I guess there's no grace period after you buy the camper. If something breaks one day in, you're screwed!!
