As first-time camper owners, we attended the show open to the idea of purchasing, though not necessarily intending to do so. When we came across the trailer we ultimately bought, we fell in love with it. Initially, the purchasing experience was very positive. We were treated well, and several essential items were included in the deal. The only negative during the purchase process was our interaction with the finance representative, Chadwell, who was extremely pushy and condescending during the discussion of extended warranties. When we declined all warranty options, he told us, "you're making a huge mistake." Bullying is not an effective or appropriate way to build trust with customers. Unfortunately, things deteriorated significantly after the sale. We were told the camper could be ready within a week, but after leaving the show, communication was extremely poor. We received no communication from the dealership for nearly six weeks. Emails went unanswered due to being provided with an incorrect email address, and the person who sent the initial welcome email was not actually a salesperson. When I eventually called to explain the situation, I was told someone would call me back the same day, but it took two additional weeks to hear from anyone. When we finally scheduled our three-hour orientation, we were already en route to the dealership when, just 40 minutes before our appointment, we received a call from Eric, the General Manager, informing us that our camper "wasn't ready." This was two months after our purchase, despite being told at the show that it could be ready within a week. Understandably, we were very upset. Eric promised to "make it up to us" by including additional items and assured us the camper would be "standing tall and pristine" when we arrived--an expectation I had from the beginning, regardless of the delays. He also said he would personally meet us at our orientation, but he never showed. The orientation itself, along with our interactions with the technician, the warranty representative, and Jeremy, were all very pleasant. Eric did follow through on including additional items to compensate for our experience; however, no amount of free items can make up for poor communication and lack of follow-through. I would have preferred significantly better customer service over any extras. I wish our experience were an exception, but we personally know several others who have also purchased campers from Kunes and had similarly poor experiences. Based on our experience and those of others, I would not expect a smooth purchasing or delivery process when buying from Kunes RV of Elkhorn.

They are trained to be overly aggressive, to try to upsell overpriced add-ons and to take advantage of first time buyers who are unfamiliar with the RV life. Before you buy I suggest you watch the many youtube videos about Camping World sales tactics. One of the best is put out by Cheyenne Camping Center. By the way, we bought from Cheyenne in Walcott Iowa after walking out of a Camping World. I'm so glad we did. We saved thousands. Cheyenne is located right across from IOWA 80 the World's largest truck stop. It's a great place to visit, to rest, to shop and to dine. If you go to Cheyenne to look at RVs, be sure to ask for Kurt Schreiner. Also Cheyenne puts out a great RV orientation youtube video by Dave, one of their many top notch service people

But it also had a 4x6 rot of water damage under the slide out, they knew being first time buyers we wouldn't get on our hands and knees to check this - they then accidentally slipped up and told us the internal order stating that they'd seen this damage prior to selling to us but disregarded it then sold it to us without mention it. Illegal. Also the insurance they provide you through Assurant will not take care of the damages and is charging us $4k + and NOT EVEN COVERING THE PAYMENTS WE'VE MADE for the past several months they've had it in the shop. Assurant is also considered one of the worst insurance companies you can possibly ever get! So that was fun to find out. OH and the service manager in Charleston SC where we are located has been caught lying to us several times. (I've documented everything and recorded every phone call) He actually forgot our camper was with them from December to February and let it sit in the freeze without winterizing it. We are heartbroken as we of course cannot afford any of this and will definitely make it known in any way possible that this company is CORRUPT and full of liars. In my opinion, you're better off going to a mom and pops Rv shop, any other local place or just buying from somebody personally near you. Avoid this place at all costs.

I purchased a Sunnybrook Raven 3300CK from Campers Inn RV of Davenport in August 2025. The sales…read moreprocess was handled through Christopher Albert, Sales Professional at Campers Inn RV of Richfield, WI. Unfortunately, my experience following the purchase has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Within the second week of ownership, I began experiencing multiple issues with the camper. Although a new water heater tank had been installed prior to purchase, I notified Chris on August 29, 2025, that the stove pilot light was not working, the propane tanks were not functioning, and the air conditioning and regulator were also problematic. He indicated that he was waiting to hear back from Davenport and would help resolve the concerns. On September 8, 2025, Chris relayed information that was inaccurate regarding the stove's operation, stating it required manual ignition with a long lighter. After reviewing the official operational video for this model, it was clear that I had been misinformed about how the stove and oven functions. My son also informed him that the stove's ignite switch was not operating correctly. Shortly after, the newly installed water heater tank failed, requiring replacement of the motherboard at a cost of approximately $500. Communication between myself, Farhood Bait, Service Manager at Campers Inn Davenport, and Christopher Albert became increasingly unproductive. Chris repeatedly told me he was attempting to resolve the issue, while Farhood stated that once the camper was released to Chris, Davenport was no longer responsible for the water heater. During this time, my son had to go without hot water for an entire month. On August 29, Chris also informed me that he still had not heard back from Davenport. He stated that Davenport had invested nearly $5,000 into the camper before and after my purchase, and that my service contract should cover the repairs. I explained that I had already paid over $1,892 for the initial inspection and orientation, in addition to ongoing monthly payments for the service contract and did not feel it was reasonable to file a claim on issues that arose immediately after purchase--especially with a "new" water heater tank that had just been installed. Despite Chris servicing the propane tanks, regulator, and A/C, the propane system still does not function for the water heater. On October 17, 2025, I requested the purchase receipt for the water heater. Despite multiple attempts, I was only provided the installation service record, which listed the replacement and installation cost as $1,727.87. When I spoke with the service manager, they refused to take responsibility or stand behind their work, leaving us no choice but to seek service elsewhere. Eventually, both parties stopped responding. Overall, the service experience has been unacceptable. Since the day of purchase, the camper has spent more time being discussed or repaired than enjoyed. As a first-time camper owner, at this point, I deeply regret the purchase. We have been highly dissatisfied with our experience with Campers Inn RV of Davenport and Campers Inn RV of Richfield, WI. Based on our ongoing issues, lack of accountability, and poor service, I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from Campers Inn RV of Davenport or Campers Inn RV of Richfield--don't.
