12/20/2018 - No Stars Jamie - how wonderful for you to reach out after 8 months - well done! Just to be clear your statement today is not close to factually accurate and is, in fact, garbage. It does however clearly reveal your "It's Not Our Fault - Blame Others" business practices and a lack of customer care. Impressive! I am also impressed that you called me, a customer, a litigious liar - class move - you should be proud. Name calling isn't just for middle school anymore. I had concerns about the vehicle the day I picked it up and that was clear - it did not seem right and the lines on the front of the car were off - not close to spec. Additionally, Paulie Castronovo stated that the gap between the trunk and front bumper "would get better over time". Not been my experience with Rubber and Steel. And I doubt Porsche sold these cars new with "It will get better over time" line. So, I took the car home with concerns. I took the car to my place of business and let my landlord to take a look at the vehicle. He is on the board of the Milwaukee Concours d'Elegance and is an Assistant Chief Judge. I did not prompt him with my concerns. He looked at it for a minute and immediacy told me (1) Some underlying structural damage has not been repaired properly and (2) the car is not close to Porsche spec. I called and brought the car back to your shop the following week assuming you would make it right. You nor anyone on your staff would own up to the challenges and to this day you still have an attitude that the car was properly repaired. It was not. I was met at your place of business with a company wide (and anyone I asked on the side said "I work for Jamie") "we don't see the issue - so your story was the only one available from your business. You and your staff looked at me like my concerns were bizarre. You simply said the car is to spec and that's all you've ever said. How can you fix a problem you don't recognize? So I left with a car in poor state of repair very dissatisfied. So a week or so later I took the car to International Auto (IA) in West Allis to have them give me an estimate to correct your poor workmanship. I was told by the Technician at IA that the problem is due to underlying structural damage that was not properly repaired. The woman who needed to provide a quote was at lunch and the Technician was not sure they would work on it. They are trained on the newer models, but not one from 1995. So I left International Autos and took Lincoln West toward my office. I come upon Goff's auto body so I stopped in to see what they had to say. Between International Autos and Goff's shop the trunk popped up about ¼" or so right by the driver side by the windshield due to the fact that Paulie's solution was to seat the hood latch as low as possible making the trunk almost impossible to shut. I did not say the car is fine - the car does not belong to Sam and if he's happy or dissatisfied with the work is irrelevant. He did not recommend I take the car elsewhere. I did invite you, Dan, Paulie or anyone at your business to meet me at Goff's to review the problems before repairs were done. I gave you substantial time to respond - no one at your shop took me up on the offer. What did you learn as I was told you were shown the issues by Goff's.(Goffs shared with me that you personally went there at a later date) The "Deal" you referred to from Jan 8th was substantially amended from the verbal agreement I had with Dan and the document he forwarded. Anyone still reading? Does it make sense to sign off on any possible future recourse with approximately $20k work of work recently completed? Jamie's Customs wanted me to sign a release of any liability outright - in other words I am on my own should additional workmanship problems arise- paint failure, et al. . Ask yourself - would you sign off on any possibility of help should other issues arise? I could not - Dan and I had a verbal deal - you (I believe) and or Dan or others changed it from our verbal deal to a written deal that was not agreed to on the phone. The Lawyer from your insurance firm stopped replying to my Attorney's dialogue in hopes we could put this to bed. Again - here you did nothing. I don't want to sue, but your lack of concern or help is giving me this option of last resort. At present you must make me whole financially due to your poor workmanship - with a Check. This was something your firm could not fix because you could not recognize an obvious problem. Additionally, you were given a second chance to make the repairs and did nothing beyond sinking the hood latch to an impossibly low position. And the Side Rockers are a disaster. I have video and have not touched them as I may bring the car for the Judge to get a good look at your poor workmanship. Enjoy the holidays; understand you can still make this right by writing a check and putting this to bed. I will not sign any release or agreement. Happy Holidays! read more

My boyfriend and I were out casually checking out motorcycles on a Saturday afternoon...last day of January:) Anyway...stopped in at Road, Track and Trail...HUGE mistake. No one said hi...tons of salesmen walking around. One finally spoke to us and had little knowledge of their stock. So...we went across the street. Wonderful experience! Todd greeted us at the door and invited us to take our time and look around. Jamie causally approached us and let us know to holler if we needed anything. No pressure at all yet they were available for questions. Long story short...we bought a bike. The finance woman was awesome and helped us to work out a better deal than originally quoted. I've read some pretty nasty reviews for these guys, but it's not the experience I've had by any stretch. I bought my 2009 Triumph from Rick and Jamies. The communication lines were always open, and when it came time to order a couple extra parts, Jokey was great in helping me do it all remotely. They're friendly, funny, and great business people to deal with. Their show room had enough bikes to make sure any rider found what they were looking for. Friendly midwest people selling solid motorcycles. They've got the formula down. Recenly purchased a Victory Motorcycle from Bob at Jamie's Customs. I could not be happier with the ease of this purchase. The bike runs as described, Bob was very friendly, upfront, and knowledgeable. On the morning that I was supposed to come and pick the bike up, he noticed something that I hadn't. Without me mentioning anything, he went ahead and changed the plugs and gas. I know it may not be a big deal, but it is something that he didn't have to do. While looking at Harley dealerships around the state, my girlfriend told me about this place. They had a decent inventory of used bikes, but nothing that we completely fell in love with. We went back a few times to look at new inventory as they came through and found the perfect Low Rider for us ! if attitude from service employees and dissatisfaction are what you want your money to go towards, this is the place. Ask for Mike. Did I mention ridicule from other employees? I should have. This all stems from me taking them a motorcycle tire on a rim and asking to have a new innertube and liner installed. The previous tube had a very slow leak, so I decided to pay to have it done, typically I would do it, but laziness bit me in the tail. Once I got wheel back on motorcycle, the tire didn't spin true to the rim. It had a "lump" on one side. I took it back and was pleasant about the issue, but Mike was quick to show his vast knowledge and informed me the tire must be junk..."a bead seats man". He reluctantly took it in the repair shop where he claimed to have reseated the bead, but things still looked janky...but it must be the tire. He then stormed off with his K-nowledge. As I exited the premises, there was some chuckling amongst other employees and slight ridicule. I took wheel home, deflated and popped bead to find inner tube was pinched right where the lump was, between bead and rim. FAIL. I reseated tube inside tire, reset bead and now tire spins true. I recently purchased a 2017 Ski Doo Grand Touring 600 ACE. The sled has only ~ 3500 miles for a steal of a bargain $5999 + taxes. Bob my salesman was super friendly and helpful; even drove it onto trailer when loading it. My registration stickers and paperwork from DNR has been taking a long time, so I voiced my concerns to Bob. He told me the time frame it would take but I didn't believe him. Anyways; Bob called the Waukesha DNR inquiring where my registration was. He immediately communicated to me my paperwork is in process and should be mailed in a day or so. This has put my mind at ease. Days after bringing home my snowmobile I realized my rear bumper is dented. It was pictured on the website but I never payed attention to it. Even at Jamies and when loading it; I was oblivious to it.. I have since contacted Bob and after Christmas he is allowing me swap it out for a undented one. Now that's customer service!! I highly recommend Jamies Customs. Great sales staff, products, and service. PS: Save yourself time and money coming here instead of place across the street. Bought a Jeep from them and had a lot of unnecessary repairs. Jeep wasn't inspected and sold to me to deal with. Jamie the owner offered to buy my Jeep back for full cost with no stipulations. Purchased a BMW K1200RS from the sales guy Todd. He swore to me everything worked perfectly. When I was at the shop, I was playing with the navigation and checking the handles and Todd comes running over saying, "Whoooa, don't wanna drain the battery hahaha". I didn't realize until later that he was acting like a lil bitch because he had removed the nav and plugged it into a wall because the power cable wiring does not function. The nav cut out on me about 15 minutes after leaving this dump. Aside from that, the heated grips don't work and the ABS brakes occasionally do not activate. Todd acted like he was my best friend but he is just a sad pathetic loser trying to make another sale. Do not shop here for a bike! They knew nothing about the bike and have very limited knowledge on motorcycles, riding, specifications, etc. Complete half ass joint employed with really dumb people, I'm sorry to say. I mean they had to rerun the checkout about 6 times before it came out of the printer correctly. This place is a joke and have no integrity for the products they are selling or the customers they are servicing. DO NOT GO TO JAMIE"S CUSTOMS & POWERSPORTS unless you want to get ripped off somehow. I had the service department install a new battery. You wouldn't think this would be that hard, but apparently it is. Not only did they do a sloppy job hooking it back up, but they forgot to hook up electronic components that they removed from the old battery. read more

went there for a dyno tune. they couldnt do it right. bike runs worse than when i brought in. got the bike back the bars,tank and rear fender were all greasey. the throttle was loose and rattling around. will never return or recomend to anyone. read more
