To spare the whole story- we are from out of town, bought our RV at an affiliate and started having issues as we drove through Neenah, Wis. I remembered there was another Quietwoods branch there, and we pulled in for help. THAT STAFF IS AMAZING. Everyone was sooo incredibly kind, and they fixed us up, even drove with us briefly to help identify issues, and got us on the road again. Did I mention this was right at closing time on a Friday? Well it was. And the staff went above and beyond for us and left late. Honestly after our experience we remarked how we would even drive all the way back here to buy our next RV. If you are new to RV'ing, as experienced ones will attest, you will be back at some point for service. Doesn't matter what class or brand you buy.....it will happen. And the upshot is, an RV manufacturer warranty is only as good as the DEALER you buy it from. I cannot stress this enough. For those wanting more details on our experience...read on. But in summary, Roskopfs backs their product like no other, even years after purchase. My family and I purchased our first RV in 2019 from Roskopf's, acting on the many recommendations that I received. Roskopf's advertises themselves as the value leader, and I believe that sums up our experience with them perfectly. Working with both Corey and Gary Roskopf was a comfortable no pressure experience. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and forthcoming. I left the dealership feeling strongly that I made the right decision to buy with them given their reputation, built over several decades, for backing the products they sell. As far as price is concerned, I've been known to hop on a plane to another state to purchase an vehicle to save $$. Fortunately Roskopf's price was very competitive. That said if places like camping world was several thousands cheaper, in hindsight I would still choose Roskopfs. Because I know when something goes wrong it'll end up costing more in the long run because you'll end up being out of pocket for the repairs and/or missing a trip (and likely deposit $$) due to long repair lead times. Since 2019 we've driven our RV across the country twice and up and down Wisconsin dozens of times visiting state parks. There have been manufacturing related issues from poor seals to under manufactured frame components. Each time, Brian and his service team was there to save the day. And with the all the miles driven and family memories cultivated, these issues never once kept us from our travels and/or put a dent in our pocketbook. And the upgrades I've had their team install were very reasonable. I've learned that recently Roskopfs was purchased by Campers Inn. My business will remain here with Brian and Gary staying on along with their mentality that customer is at the very center of their business. Call me a fanboy, but through hard work and good business practices Brian and Gary have earned my loyalty.

Steve and Frank arrived at our sight and were very pleasant and friendly. I showed them my concerns which included a couple leaks and some interior problems. They got to work on the problems without any complaints and resolved what they could-won't know if one of them is resolved until rains again--but we are confident that it is taken care of. Just have to order couple parts and we're good. Hopefully we won't have to call for service again, but if we do, we feel confident that we will be taken care of by the service department As for our salesman, if it wasn't that I really liked this unit, the sale would have went elsewhere. We called and talked to Kurt, the service manager. We told him what we needed and that we had camping reservations the next day. He said they were very busy. I got that, but then he told us WE DON'T WORK ON THAT BRAND/TYPE OF TRAILER. And, WE ONLY WORK ON WHAT WE SELL!! Game changer, perhaps they should name the place for the brand of trailer that they sell. Very few places are that brand specific these days. They eliminate a huge segment ofIP the camping family.

We paid approximately $14,000 for an Assurant warranty that was represented to us as essentially bumper-to-bumper, only to find out that our leaking roof and leaking brake caliper aren't covered. A Camping World service employee even told us, "I wish they wouldn't sell the warranty the way they do, it doesn't cover any of that." Then we were charged $125 by service only to be told they couldn't reproduce the roof leak and don't have technicians to perform the chassis repair. We've escalated this to Camping World corporate and followed up multiple times without a meaningful response. We actually tried to undo the purchase shortly after buying the motorhome because the experience was already so bad, but our trade had already been sold. Based on our experience, I would not purchase another RV or extended warranty from Camping World.

Finally, two years ago I gave in and bought a new Salem Forest River from Scenic. Sales department was great but there service department leaves a lot to be desired. Called last week on this new trailer because in 2 weeks time, the ac unit quit working, the stereo system died and we had a LP gas smell. Took two days to get on site even though we were staying at trailer. Service man confirmed ac needs to be replaced, could not attempt to fix stereo system, and found a stove valve open, but did not check further. Later that day, gas smell returned and we found out that the heater gas valve is bad which should have been checked during visit, but they were in too big of a hurry to replace another ac unit in our campground to do a thorough check.. Obviously no warranty at this point in time. I am now purchasing the ac unit direct for $480 when they quoted me $800 for exact unit. Wanted additional $200 to install when it takes about 20 minutes ( 4 bolts to remove and replace). Never again will I purchase or have any service done by this company. In talking to him he was extremely knowledge about the trailer. Answered my questions about the trailer and also questions about my tow vehicle. As his store is about 200 miles from my location after our phone conversation, I feel very comfortable making the trip up to him and can hopefully buy the unit we discussed. I have bought 10 plus trailers from 1 dealer over the years but that company (finnigans Rv) no longer sells trailers. They had been reliable and I was extremely happy with their service.
