Such a great new restaurant in Sandy! I've already been there twice and both times the food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding.

People have been way too negative of this place. My wife and I went on our date night here and it was excellent. We shared the Bianca pizza and the short rib. Both of which had excellent flavor. The service was by far my favorite part. Our server, Giuseppe, clearly knows Italian food extremely well and was well-spoken. The only thing I will agree with is it does get a bit pricey. However, it's meant to be a high end Italian restaurant and the prices reflected that. I'd recommend it for any date night/double date. read more

I wanted to share my terrible Valentine's Day experience. We made a dinner reservation nearly two months ago. After finding a babysitter and getting dressed up and excited for a romantic evening, we show up and are immediately informed that they are ONLY offering a prix fixe menu for $95/person. This was very disappointing and frustrating for multiple reasons. First, this menu was never mentioned when we made the reservation or at any time leading up to our reservation. I was even on their website last night looking at the menu and saw zero mention anywhere on there about this valentines change. Next, I have an autoimmune disease that limits the types of foods I can eat, I was able to find some options on the normal menu but the prix fixe menu did not accommodate for this, so I'm not going to pay for food I can't eat. I asked the hostess about it and she said it was the managers decision to spring this surprise menu on everyone with reservations. I understand that they think they're some swanky new dinner spot, but this is an awful first impression and we will likely head downtown for all of our Italian meals going forward. read more

My spouse and I were up for trying out this newer Italian restaurant in Sandy so we took a chance and tried it recently. I will keep this short and sweet. The food was terrible, I had the ravioli which didn't look anything like on the photo and was swimming in oil. I'm sure I've never seen a mushroom filled ravioli quite prepared that way. I ordered a curry and coconut soup with chicken, it didn't even have a hint of curry or coconut. I would describe it as a bowl of puréed tasteless mush. The chicken was not in the soup but served on the side as a grilled slice. My drink which the waiter recommended, I sent back it was so terrible. My husband's Italian pasta was also overdone with too many strange ingredients added. Any ambience of the disco type decor could be appreciated by some younger patrons was destroyed by the loud music in the background. We asked for the volume to be turned down a little so we could hear each other talk and were told no, that wouldn't be done. 2 stars for the bread that was fairly good and the lemon butter. If you are a foodie and enjoy a romantic dinner out with delicious food, I would suggest to stay away from this restaurant. Lisa P read more

My husband and I were looking forward toScelto based on other reviews. We started with a Caesar salad which was fine. We shared the Gnocchi and pizza with arugula and figs. The gnocchi were so mushy and really uneatable . The pizza was weird with the figs. And I am not a fan of burnt crust on a pizza. The wait staff were great! I doubt we will return. read more

Restaurant ambience, and service was great. We tried a bit of everything. Tried the peaches/prosciutto pizza and while the dough was amazing, am not sure the other ingredients combined well. Lasagna was really good, but small portions. Lamb parpadelle was good, pasta is made in house so it is fresh but i don't believe it goes well with lamb. Their bread basket was very good. However, i believe their prices are a bit a high. Glad i tried it but it's not a place I'll be coming back any time soon. read more

A beautiful setting, our service was fantastic and the food was delicious ‼ we had arancini for appetizer, my friend had the scallops and risotto, I had the carbonara, all done so well and a chocolate flourless cake for dessert over the top, but so worth it. This restaurant feels like it was curated by a gallerist and I AM HERE for it. The staff is unnnnn-real at how attentive and accommodating they are..trust their suggestions and decoding of their impressive wine menu. Food was a solid 10... I've seen a few reviews about $$ and all I can say is ya get what ya pay for. We ordered the caprese, kids pizza (ohhh my gawd) papparelle, and the real star of the evening.... This is a mixed review. We had dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Bread appetizer, beet salad and salmon were delicious. Ahi tuna appetizer was only fair. We loved the tiramisu! So much so that we ordered the tiramisu later as to go orders on our way to a movie. Well, our to go order was misplaced, they said they would quickly make it. After waiting 20 minutes, we asked for a refund which was slow. Missed the first part of the movie and had no tiramisu. . I love to support local businesses but they have business glitches to work out. Not sure when or if we'll be back. read more

Not impressed. The food was mediocre and on the bland side. Everyone in our party of 8 was underwhelmed and agreed that the quality did not match the high prices. I called a week in advance to make the reservation and the only time available was 5pm. Although the dining room was mostly empty, we were seated by the kitchen. By the time we left, there were still plenty of open tables. Disappointed we couldn't get a later seating. Service was good but rushed. Nice ambiance. Definitely not worth the money. The first time we went there, we got pizza and a salad Caesar salad, and both were awesome. they put a lot of different cheeses on the pizza. The second time we went there the pizza was partially cooked. It's like it didn't get cooked all the way and it wasn't very good. All the dishes were plated very well and were full of amazing flavors. Corby, is he the owner? I don't know. But he treated us like VIP's. Zenur, our waiter, was great as well. Came here when I was craving some Italian food. Ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the short rib for my entree. Amazing food! The calamari was breaded perfectly and the sauce changed the whole dish. On the day I went, the waiter said that they were doing mashed potatoes and broccolini instead of the regular carrot mascarpone. The dish was so delicious because the meat was super tender and the sauce balanced out the dish very well. For desert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the sugar was perfect and the custard was very sweet and satisfying. Service was incredible because our waiter gave us a list of all the popular dishes and how they tasted. The mood was very neutral because I visited the restaurant at 8 pm but not too many people were in the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant was very clean and organized well because the tables and bathrooms were very clean and nothing was wrong. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is craving Italian food in the Sandy area. read more

Their service and the atmosphere is great. Im not one to complain about portion sizes but when you pay 40.00-50.00 per plate and your veal comes out and the portion size is maybe 2oz? or the filet mignon is maybe 3oz that just doesnt work! Portion sizes are really small and over priced. read more

Very nice atmosphere, which makes the fact that the overpriced food is just ok all the more disappointing. Absolutely nothing authentically Italian about this place. All noodles were overcooked tasteless mush. The ribs were good, but certainly not the best in the valley. Ambiance was beautiful. Very comfortable seating. Server was very nice and we were greeted warmly by hostess. The Pinot Grigio was only ok but served nicely chilled in a chiller. My 100 layer lasagna was described by the server as very creamy. Instead it look like a couple layers of pasta with a bolagnese sauce. There was no ricotta or bechamel. It was a very strange lasagna and definitely not worthy of the title of 100 layers. The outside edges of the lasagna was dry and hard to cut. I just wasn't good at all. No bread of any type was served or offered. My little granddaughter's children's pizza came after we were done eating and so were the same with the other pizzas ordered. They offered several free desserts to make up but it is bad form to leave a little girl with nothing to eat for a very long time while everyone else was eating. How about offering some bread or something!!! I have no idea why the pizzas took so long, but really they should have not charged for the pizzas since they took so long and everyone was done eating by the time they came out. My Tiramisu was not good. It had cream cheese in it which made it tangy and ruined the Tiramisu. The other diners had Shrimp with Pasta which they liked, and also the Tomato soup and they enjoyed it. Also the chicken parm was enjoyed very much and did look good. The complimentary flourless chocolate cake was served cold and was just ok. We wanted to love this place, and they are new, so maybe they are working out some details, but we won't be back because the issues of the late pizzas left us not wanting to come back for more.
