After interviewing three designers, we chose Ian and I'm happy to report that our plans were approved within 48 hours of sending them to the board. One neighbor, who used to serve on that committee, said "these are the most detailed plans I've ever seen". Ian's attention to detail had to have been a major factor in their decision-making process. What we liked about Ian was: he was able to easily and quickly share examples of other designs he had created; he told us that his fee would include revisions, he wouldn't nickel-and-dime us; and he has established relationships with many/all contractors that we'll need to complete the work. I'll update this review as we go through the process...we're only at the approval stage now. We need to have a good portion of the backyard demo'd before the work can begin. But so far, so good. Ian has delivered what was advertised.

I had to write a review about our experience with Roberto and his team. We did a full backyard…read moreremodel and could not be happier with the level of professionalism that Roberto brought to every stage of our project. It started with a 3D design which was helpful for us to envision what was possible. We then talked through the quote and made adjustments to fit our budget and meet our needs. Our project included cement work, pea gravel installation, sod installation, plantings and mulch, new irrigation, custom planters and trellis, removal and replacement of fence, and a retaining wall. We found Roberto to give honest and clear advice through all of our questions and he always responded quickly and gave us updates which was very helpful in helping us plan. With any unexpected things that came up during the work, we were so happy with the way Roberto addressed concerns and made sure that we were happy with the final results. He was knowledgeable about the plants we added and made sure to explain ongoing maintenance. We LOVE our new backyard and I am certain we will come back to Valley View for any future projects. Highly recommend!

Right from the start, his communication was clear. He understood what we wanted and offered valuable suggestions on how to improve the design we had imagined. One VERY important consideration for us was that he was prompt responding to our original inquiry and each subsequent time we contacted him with additional questions. This was not the case with several other contractors we contacted. He and his crew were consistently on time, efficient in their work and extremely hard workers. His price was slightly better than the closest other estimate we received and he held to the agreed price without any additional charges even though he went above and beyond what was specified. Without hesitation we highly recommend Valley View Landscape for any landscaping project you might have. The value Roberto brought to our project is greatly appreciated. We'll be calling him next year for phase 2 of our project!

We were very happy with the results and have enjoyed our outdoor living space tremendously. Three weeks ago, we returned from a weekend trip to find a water pipe had leaked under the paver deck. In addition, I suggested we walk the property. Adrian quickly noticed a couple other areas that needed attention and those issues were also repaired. Adrian and his worker, Manual, were professional and focused on the work. I recommend System Pavers for the original project and the warranty follow up work.
