From meeting for a quote to completion of the project , System Pavers did a Great job with a great quality and great customer service! Robin Everhart our designer, Ryan Travalini our project manager, Ben and his crew all executed what we wanted, turned our space from mixed of concrete, dirt and mulch into whole area paved and designed into what we dreamed of. They also accommodated some changes along the way without any issues. On the very first day, Robin designed our backyard per our vision, listened to what we wanted and took our budget into account. He was very nice and was able to revise the design multiple times to what works for us functionally and aesthetically. Ben and his crew was amazing and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Ryan our project manager was present everyday to ensure the team had what they needed and anything we wanted was addressed. He was easily reached and pleasant to interact with, checking in with us every step of the way through text and call. It has been about 2 months when our outdoor space was done and to this day, he's very responsive to our text for questions and made sure we are 100% satisfied with our pavers. We ran into system pavers at the alameda county fairgrounds this summer. Roger came over a few days later and we talked about our plan to redo our old patio and driveway. The cost was reasonable and fair for the scope of work and we liked the design Roger gave us. Our project manager, Adrian, was really the star of the show for us. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very much a "we'll take care of it don't you worry" kind of person. Followed through on everything he promised and suggested different changes to save money or time. The work crew was top notch as well, worked quickly and efficiently and all the workers were friendly. We ended up doing pavers over most of the back yard, and replacing concrete around our pool with turf. Both turned out amazing, with several friends mistaking the turf for real grass. We've spent more time on our new grass patio with friends in the month since it's been finished than the last 15 years. Materials quality was excellent, workmanship was top notch and organization was very good. We had our entire backyard done this spring which included grading, adding pavers, a sitting wall and turf. We are very happy with the project as it was exactly what we were hoping for, both foe entertaining and as a place for our kids to play. We initially met with Kelly Kasper who showed us pricing and what was available and he handed things off to Ryan Travalini who was our project manager throughout. Ryan was always available and responsive to our concerns and we were very happy with how everything turned out. Our one complaint was that things took a little longer than expected but Ryan did inform us along the way of the delays and actually had things sped up when we told him we needed our yard back . We really appreciated his reaching out to us to approve the paver pattern in some of the trickier areas before proceeding with the install. Just don't. Run as far from this company as you can when it comes to deck builds. We have worked with System Pavers on 3 projects, one was pavers and turf, 11 years ago, excellent experience. We then hired them about 2.5 years ago for a $60k yard lighting project. Went ok, they outsource everything so it just depends on who they get to do your project. The outsourced lighting guy was excellent but the System Pavers salesperson promised us much more than they delivered. We were told they would lay new wires, hide them and run them through conduit buried deep enough but they did not. They cut corners whenever and wherever they could. The day that we signed that contract we also signed a contract for them to build 2 decks for a little over $100k, that was May 2024. We never heard from them. About a year after I reached out and one of the "bros" gave me some lame excuse that "he was just going to call me" and that it would be just a little longer. 6 months later still nothing and about the same lie. Finally they broke ground March 2026. Well tomorrow is Sept and these decks are still not done. The "team"- a few guys that they outsourced from Sacramento- came about 2-4 days/ week for about 4 - 6 hours/ day from end of March until mid June. At that time they left bc they thought that they were done. They left our yard a mess- nails everywhere, in our pool, all over the ground. They trampled our landscaping and killed about 4 other plants and our grass, not near the decks but where the team decided to drop and leave their gear or where they broke our sprinklers. The lights on the stairs were not aligned or in the middle of the stairs. Numerous corners did not line up, wires were popping, they put so much paint and caulk that boards were lifting and separating. The boards had writing on them, things were scratched and left like that. They painted under the deck so poorly that they did acknowledge this and suggested that we put panels up to hide it (at our cost). Our deck whistles. They painted the posts so horribly they had to cover them in plaster, which, I will give them, they at least paid for bc it was due to their incompetence. We are in touch with the Project Manager, his supervisor and the Regional Manager and none of them care. They gaslight us over and over that the deck looks great. When we asked for a new contractor they told me that this fool is their best. The deck sags in some areas, the stairs are not straight. It's like they never measured, all of the stairs are different heights. The railing is spaced oddly with measurements up to a foot in difference. They just gaslight and mansplain or ignore us whenever we bring issues to them. In the past 11 weeks since mid June their crappy "team" has been here about 8 - 9 days to fix issues and ended up making even more. They are on their 3rd time trying to fix the lights on the stairs to align them in straight row. They will go out of their way to try to hide the issues and the Project Manager leaves it up to us to tell him what is wrong. We never expected a 2.5 year project that has no end in sight. We never thought that a March deck project would mess up our entire summer. Also, the team is extremely rude and combative, they talk poorly about System Pavers yet were hired by them. Do not use this company to build your decks unless it is a very low deck that does not require stairs. Still waiting to hear from anyone at System Pavers....... read more

We love our paver stone driveway so much I told my husband I want to have a party just so we can hang out on it! Seriously, it's so beautiful! The team was quick and professional, and were great to deal with. One of the best parts is that they stand behind their work. They finished the driveway last October, before the rainy season. We noticed this spring, after some particularly hard rains, that there was an area of the driveway that was pooling with some water. We texted Ryan Travalini, our project manager, and he came right out. He scheduled a time for his foreman Ben to come out, set up a drainage system in the affected area, and get the pavers put back in place. It continues to be worth every penny! read more

System Pavers just completed our patio demolition and pavers this week. Our concrete in the backyard was in pretty bad shape and needed replacing. We'd been shopping around for a while, but always put off by the high cost. We booked an estimate and consultation with their sales team. The salesman we had, David, was excellent and very thorough. He did not upsell us on products or features we didn't need. He was very respectful of wanting to stay within a reasonable budget and still wanting a beautiful outdoor space. When we ultimately booked the job, we told him we had a tight timeframe to work in and they were able to accommodate. Our project manager was Adrian and he was responsive, kind, and very thorough as well. The job only took four days to complete, include full demolition and haul away plus the whole new job. If this review were based solely on the final product, warranty, and financing options, I would give System Pavers 4 stars. I'd deduct a star due to the imperfections/flaws we were forced to accept on the material and compromises we had to make on the build. Unfortunately, the seven-month process, drop in communication, and repeated unmet promises bring my rating down to 1 star. Throughout the project, we encountered many instances where they set expectations and deadlines that were not fulfilled. From the permitting process to construction, timelines and commitments frequently changed, making the experience much more frustrating than it needed to be. There were many excuses and apologies throughout the process along with a lot of gaslighting and deception. We were misled endlessly. Every time I called out an excuse, it was replaced with a new one. The lack of oversight, executing things by trial and error and flippancy was shocking. The game of telephone from us, to the PM, to the crew fell apart almost daily. The mistakes were endless and it was hard to get updates and the correct information. To be fair, the paver portion of this project went smoothly. The permit, demo, retaining wall construction, and communication from the PM were the primary sources of the issues. I was repeatedly told that I was paying a premium for premium service, but that didn't happen. For all the mistakes, unnecessary delays and problems we encountered they didn't do anything to redeem themselves. This project was unnecessarily difficult. The project is complete, and I'm glad it's over. Overall a terrible experience. I would not recommend for complex jobs. read more

This is my second experience with System Pavers. My original project was completed, as expected, many years ago. We were very happy with the results and have enjoyed our outdoor living space tremendously. Three weeks ago, we returned from a weekend trip to find a water pipe had leaked under the paver deck. I called System Pavers and they sent Adrian to our location to determine if the issue was covered by the warranty. Adrian quickly coordinated the work to repair the leak and reset the pavers. In addition, I suggested we walk the property. Adrian quickly noticed a couple other areas that needed attention and those issues were also repaired. Adrian and his worker, Manual, were professional and focused on the work. I recommend System Pavers for the original project and the warranty follow up work. We had our pavers and light package installed 3 years ago and we have been so happy with system pavers. The electricity went out about 2 weeks ago an I had been unable to reset the "Brilliance smart socket" lighting app. I called System Pavers and was immediately contacted by Ryan Travalini the project manager. He came to our home and we tried to figure it out, when we couldn't, he immediately said no problem the smart socket needs to be replaced, I can go get another one and install it for you later today, its covered under your warranty. Now, here's a very honest review. 5 stars for workmanship: care and thought was taken each step of the way. The workers were super respectful and did their best always to help us be able to get in and out easily during the work, kept the area tidy and made sure to confirm with us if there were any questions that arose . 1,000,000 stars for Adrian O'Donoghue, our project manager. Adrian visited the project almost daily and was readily available by text or phone call. This was such a peace of mind. His communication was amazing and his willingness to make sure any blips were addresses was impeccable. Now, outside of his control was the fact the designer/sales manager told us our front step would be "taken care and wrapped into the deal" but we were then told it would be another $3800 upon the project starting. This whole experience would have felt so much better if the bottom line had been the bottom line. Granted, I appreciated all his help in implementing our ideas into a design but this left us uneasy. So, would I work with them again, yes. All of the aforementioned made it a wonderful experience. However, this latter issue was disheartening and I am a person of my word so I must fully review the great and the "do better next time." The consultation is free, the design process is included, just make sure you are guaranteed there won't be any hidden costs/surprises. Full transparency is good for all and thus the spirit of my review. 25 year guarantee. I will give this review 5 stars because Adrian deserves it. System Pavers, you are very lucky to have him. My experience with System Pavers started off extremely frustrating. Our first project manager provided little to no oversight at the beginning of our backyard project. Everything moved painfully slow, communication and support were almost nonexistent, and several quality issues came up. The turf was poorly stitched together, some of the pavers were uneven, and we were even told we needed to pay for services that we had already paid for. At that point, I was very disappointed and frustrated with the company overall. Things completely changed when Oscar Maciel became our new project manager. He was a total 180 from the previous experience and truly took ownership of the project. Oscar showed up every day to ensure everything was going according to plan, listened carefully whenever I raised concerns, and addressed issues immediately. His professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail were exactly what we had been missing. Oscar is a far better representation of what a project manager at System Pavers should be. Fast forward about a year later, we noticed some slight shifting in our pavers. I reached back out to Oscar and the System Pavers team, and they handled the issue the same week. I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer service and sense of urgency Oscar demonstrated, even long after the project was completed. We have used System Pavers twice now. Once for the initial paver install and secondly to add artificial grass in the rest of our yard. While the pavers look nice, our grass has since melted. When we went to utilize the warranty that is on the turf, we were told that they had edited their warranty since we had purchased the turf and that they would no longer cover the issue that they would have prior. They quoted us $3,800 to repair this small section, which was more than our entire turf addition. I find it fraudulent that they feel they can edit a warranty after I have purchased the unit, and suddenly they no longer cover damage that they never warned us about when our original contract that we still have has no mention of not covering heat damage. They failed to provide us with proper information around turf in the heat, which would have swayed our decision away from the turf addition. read more
