I had to write a review about our experience with Roberto and his team. We did a full backyard remodel and could not be happier with the level of professionalism that Roberto brought to every stage of our project. It started with a 3D design which was helpful for us to envision what was possible. We then talked through the quote and made adjustments to fit our budget and meet our needs. Our project included cement work, pea gravel installation, sod installation, plantings and mulch, new irrigation, custom planters and trellis, removal and replacement of fence, and a retaining wall. We found Roberto to give honest and clear advice through all of our questions and he always responded quickly and gave us updates which was very helpful in helping us plan. With any unexpected things that came up during the work, we were so happy with the way Roberto addressed concerns and made sure that we were happy with the final results. He was knowledgeable about the plants we added and made sure to explain ongoing maintenance. We LOVE our new backyard and I am certain we will come back to Valley View for any future projects. After receiving estimates from five landscapers we decided to hire Roberto for phase 1 of our backyard project that included a lawn, irrigation, drainage and paths. We're glad we did! Right from the start, his communication was clear. He understood what we wanted and offered valuable suggestions on how to improve the design we had imagined. One VERY important consideration for us was that he was prompt responding to our original inquiry and each subsequent time we contacted him with additional questions. This was not the case with several other contractors we contacted. He and his crew were consistently on time, efficient in their work and extremely hard workers. His price was slightly better than the closest other estimate we received and he held to the agreed price without any additional charges even though he went above and beyond what was specified.
