I desperately needed design ideas for my small mess of a dog run backyard. I had no real grass, lots of dirt, weeds, and just a patch of vegetation here and there. I found Mike on Yelp!, and reached out. I am thoroughly impressed at the way this business is run! The owner is not only gifted at his business, he is extremely professional. He did a walk through, asked what I wanted, and gave suggestions. Then he took measurements. By the next morning, I had a formal plan drawn up, with detailed items in an electronic contract app that made this process seamless. The estimate was in print viewable from my mobile phone, and I was able to pay my down payment right from my mobile. How convenient! The employees were friendly, always on time and respectful of my property. I absolutely love my new backyard, and my grand dog does too! I cannot thank Mike and his crew enough for making this amazement happen. Thanks Mike and crew! read more

Buyer Beware: - Poor/Dishonest communication. Simple scheduling was difficult and hard for Mike. Mike claimed that rain in the weather forecast would make it hard to begin work. Zero rain was forecasted upon verification. - Poor business integrity. Mike would not return the $1,000 deposit after canceling and rescheduling himself. - Poor client respect. Despite making it clear how important start/finish was for my tennants Mike continously canceled rescheduled at his discretion. - Poor business practice/integrity Dishonest, Poor communication with priority placed on Mike and his business rather than the client's. Mike never disclosed anything verbally or in writing about deposits being non-refundable and refuses to return to me with zero services rendered -$1,000 paid and not returned. read more

I needed a retaining wall in my back yard as well as the dirt levelled off behind it. My yard is not easy to work around with limited access, so they ended up needing to build a second wall (added cost) to hold the excess dirt back. I was skeptical of the second wall at first, but in the end it looks really nice and I think makes my yard flow better than what I had imagined in my head. I did exceed my budget, but I don't feel like I got a bad value for the money. I really appreciate the fact that Mike and his crew kept the work site clean. I feel like that is becoming rare nowadays. read more

Mike and his assistant built a low rock retaining wall along the sidewalk in front of our house. We could not be happier with both the result and the overall experience. Mike is so on the ball! Professional, communicative, responsive, and respectful, listened to what we wanted and executed perfectly. The job was completed on schedule and on budget, with no extra expense or added fees. Mike and his crew met our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend this company. We will in fact be having them come back to do another job for us. read more

We had Mike come over and repair some previous work another landscaper had done. Had I known the quality of his work was better, I would've hired him initially. I recommend his service and would hire him for another project. read more

Mike and his team do great work, and they give excellent suggestions, when needed. They did a lot of work for me, which included yard cleanup (removal of dead bushes, stumps), drip line installations, good-neighbor fence installation around entire property, entryway steps, concrete patio, removing concrete to lay artificial turf, and pergola install. They do it all, and most important, Mike is a great guy that I know I can trust! read more

First, Mike and his team are really great to team with. We had an idea to put a shed and greenhouse in the backyard, so we ordered them. Once they arrived in boxes, it was like now what? So we started reaching out to local landscapers (gotta support the small local businesses). We met with Mike and we through out some ideas of what we wanted to do. He helped us plan out what would work best to meet our needs. His team was there right on time. They had everything started and Mike noticed that our yard was very uneven, so he suggested that we used the dirt from cleaning the areas for the pads to level out our yard. The shed was assembled and centered on the pad. Before pour the pad, Mike installed a water faucet in the greenhouse, so we didn't need to drag a hose from the front. He also placed a drain in the center to catch water runoff, and then they assembled the greenhouse. Amazing work by a really good local business. His prices are very fair and upfront. Yes we will use Mike in the future when we redo our yard. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Mike is a consummate professional at his craft. His workmanship and attention to detail corrected a plethora of irrigation mistakes created by another landscaper's deceptive choice of installing previously used components, lack of water management knowledge, and fundamental ground plumbing was evident. Mike's knowledge of irrigation systems improved the system while making all necessary corrections; his efforts restored my faith in quality work at a fair price! read more

Mike Tran and his team did an awesome job at a fair price putting 150 feet 4 feet deep of French drainage. I live next to Rockville park, so there was a lot of rock they went through. All rain gutter down spouts connected to drainage. They really kicked butt on this job. Very hard workers. Eric read more

I was looking for a landscaping contractor to transform my small non-functional space to a functional oasis. Michael came by and listened to how I would like to use the space. During our conversations he came up with a design that I am extremely satisfied with. I wanted low to no maintenance with a grassy area to enjoy on sunny days and space to entertain. The pavers and artificial grass were per his recommendation. I mentioned that I wanted to eventually get a dog and with his knowledge, he was able to provide the best materials when it came to the artificial grass. Mike and his crew arrived on time and completed the work professionally. His expertise surpassed my expectations. read more
