I needed a retaining wall in my back yard as well as the dirt levelled off behind it. My yard is not easy to work around with limited access, so they ended up needing to build a second wall (added cost) to hold the excess dirt back. I was skeptical of the second wall at first, but in the end it looks really nice and I think makes my yard flow better than what I had imagined in my head. I did exceed my budget, but I don't feel like I got a bad value for the money. I really appreciate the fact that Mike and his crew kept the work site clean. First, Mike and his team are really great to team with. We had an idea to put a shed and greenhouse in the backyard, so we ordered them. Once they arrived in boxes, it was like now what? So we started reaching out to local landscapers (gotta support the small local businesses). We met with Mike and we through out some ideas of what we wanted to do. He helped us plan out what would work best to meet our needs. His team was there right on time. They had everything started and Mike noticed that our yard was very uneven, so he suggested that we used the dirt from cleaning the areas for the pads to level out our yard. The shed was assembled and centered on the pad. Before pour the pad, Mike installed a water faucet in the greenhouse, so we didn't need to drag a hose from the front. He also placed a drain in the center to catch water runoff, and then they assembled the greenhouse. Amazing work by a really good local business. His prices are very fair and upfront.
