I rarely feel good spending this kind of money unless it comes out better than I imagine and it did!! Pics speak for themselves. They took all the sorry mulch out and replaced with underlying gopher wire, nice decorative rocks, and built a paver patio for us. They cleaned up meticulously at the end. I needed some landscaping in my yard with a walkway lined with medium sized rocks and then some additional smaller rocks. Originally there was a brown plastic border that was lining the path but over time it was coming out of the ground and looked bad. The finished project is such an improvement! Julio responded to my Yelp request almost immediately and then got me an estimate just as quickly after seeing the scope of the project. His bid was just slightly lower than my other bid but I had already decided to go with his company based on his professionalism. Julio also does landscape maintenance which is handy. Julio and his crew just finished a large backyard landscape project. They removed a large tree stump and many roots from our lawn. They also removed a retaining wall planter area and put in a new one. Then they put in a new turf lawn. They arrived on time, worked hard from start to finish and cleaned everything up everyday before finishing, including spraying to remove all the mud from our driveway and side yard from the rain. They also finished the job 2 days earlier than estimate, in spite of off and on rain! Julio was always pleasant and accommodating to all of our requests. We cannot sing enough high praises for Julio + his team! If you're on the fence about who to call for your project (big or small), look no further. We had a huge undertaking in renovating our entire backyard (our house sits on a 1/3 acre). Our project included demo, concrete, full hard- and softscaping, irrigation -- the works! First off, Julio is honest, punctual and all around amazing to work with. He was the only contractor that didn't try and throw out some crazy number (we knew roughly what the project would cost so we wouldn't bite for the outrageous quotes) and he never tried to haggle with us. We trusted him from day one and that was ultimately what led us to to working with him. He and his crew always showed up on time, cleaned up when they left for the day and kept in constant communication with us -- where to place each plant/tree, what product we wanted to use, asking for confirmation on how things were to be done, and making recommendations where needed. I've used E & S for two projects to date. I met Julio Reyes, the owner of E & S, while he was painting one of my neighbor's homes. I asked if he'd like to give me an estimate on my home and I got one that evening which was very competitive with two others I had gotten. He and his crew came in and in three days painted my entire two story home while at the same time identifying and replacing a number of rotted boards he ran into. They did an overall excellent job and on the basis of that I began discussing with him a major renovation project involving significant areas of paver stones and decorative stone borders for our rear yard. Again he gave me a reasonable estimate and again went out of his way to not only complete the job on time and within budget but also delivered me an "extra" by using some excess materials we had as a result of my changing part of the main project half way through. He used it to improve our front yard and left both my wife and I extremely pleased with the total project. I would recommend him as a five star business without any hesitation.
