They delivered everything and we installed it only to start smelling mold a few weeks later. I called them immediately and they said oh whoops sorry we delivered the wrong infill to you. So not only did they deliver the wrong stuff but we paid way extra for it. Kiera/Kyra (however you spell her name) is the manager and went out of her way to be unhelpful. They offered no refund, said that we could suck up the infill that smelled like mold with a vacuum and we were welcome come get the correct infill. Kyra supposedly is there to handle issues like this and ensure customer satisfaction and completely blew us off ignoring phone calls and emails. I would absolutely never ever ever go through this company again for artificial turf. I think there are better looking turf options and local places that will actually provide decent customer service. Only saving grace about this place is Richard - he is an absolute gem :)

The contracts are sent view email or text. The installation process is why I'm leaving a 3 star review. While the crew was friendly and the area looks nicely done and professionally installed, the crew left a mess of a worksite. Most notably there were multiple long (6"ish) nails left around the play area after the team left for the day. The compactor they used left an oil spot on my concrete and they left a random piece of scrap turf without checking if we wanted the extra material. It was long and large and just another thing I have to deal with in my trash. As the day was wrapping up, I watched a member of the crew make my yard significantly messier with the most half-a** attempt at clean up blowing I've personally witness. It was done with an impressive lack of care that said "don't even bother me, I don't care either way." So I didn't. But I was wondering why they would be blowing the remnants of artificial turf, tiny little bits of chewed up plastic - all over my natural grass, patio and garden. I had to clean up after them, and luckily that's when I found the long nails before a child found them. (They weren't hidden at all, again, a shocking lack of attention to detail when it came to cleaning up the job site.) We're now a couple month in but the turf is functioning as expected.

The improper wiring caused damage to our brand new hot tub. We had a third party inspect his work, which discovered additional electrical code violations and safety concerns. Unfortunately his response when we first told him about the bad wiring was to bring over his electrician and try to undo the mistakes without telling us, then claim that everything was fine all along. Well, we have multiple sources of evidence showing what the problem was and how he tried to hide it. Cannot recommend this company based on the outright dishonesty we experienced. One of the trees that he overcharged us for starting dying of root rot within 3 months, due to his team digging the smallest possible hole for the root ball. We dug it up and found the tree roots choking in a pool of old water due to a lack of drainage. A complaint with evidence has been submitted to the Contractors State License Board.

Life Turf Landscaping replaced my grass with artificial turf a few years ago. At the time, they…read moretold me I should turn off the irrigation on that side of the yard, but they never clearly explained why. A few years later, I started noticing sunken areas in the turf that have now become a safety hazard because of how deep the holes are. Based on what has happened, it appears that irrigation pipes may have been punctured during the turf installation. Every time the irrigation was turned on, water seemed to wash out part of the base underneath the turf, creating large holes and unstable areas. They came out once and repaired the issue, but a few months later the holes came back. Unfortunately, no one clearly explained why this was happening or offered a permanent solution. I have tried multiple times to get them to come back and address the problem, especially since I believe this should fall under the warranty. I reached out by phone, email, and text, and they have not responded. I even offered to pay them to fix it, but still received no response. Very disappointing experience. The original installation has led to ongoing issues, and the lack of communication and follow-up has been extremely frustrating.

We had a very good experience working with Northview Landscaping. Our project was large, involving…read morea new paver driveway, new public sidewalk, new turf install, new concrete and paver pathways, new wooden gates and a re-install of a paver patio. The project took a long time with several interruptions due to weather and permitting with the city. For a while it seemed like the sidewalk repair might not happen, but Juan and Freddie were able to work it out with the city and the new sidewalk looks great. Our new paver driveway looks amazing and has given us way more space. The new retaining wall curves around the corner to the street, which was a detail in the design that I really wanted, and they were able to deliver. So far after a few heavy rainstorms everything seems to be draining properly. The plants and landscaping are starting to fill in and I'm hoping that the plants thrive over the summer after some pretty nasty weather the last couple months. Perhaps the best part of the project has turned out to be the backyard where we replaced the grass lawn with turf and had the paver patio re-installed. It looks really nice and the dogs love it. I love that I don't have to spend hours weeding it and worrying about foxtails in dog feet or noses. There is still one step left before completion, since we ended up having to replace our sewer pipe to the street which left a small section of the paver driveway. Overall Northview did great work on a big job with some complicated permitting requirements. They were always respectful, polite and communicative.
