We needed a small area (~350 SF) converted to an artificial grass surface for a child's play area. Purchase Green wasn't the least expensive but the product they offered felt softer and higher quality (hopefully) than the other vendors that provided quotes. I got an onsite quote, and also stopped by their office and the staff was very helpful. The sales process was pretty standard and the contacts were friendly. The contracts are sent view email or text. The installation process is why I'm leaving a 3 star review. While the crew was friendly and the area looks nicely done and professionally installed, the crew left a mess of a worksite. Most notably there were multiple long (6"ish) nails left around the play area after the team left for the day. The compactor they used left an oil spot on my concrete and they left a random piece of scrap turf without checking if we wanted the extra material. It was long and large and just another thing I have to deal with in my trash. As the day was wrapping up, I watched a member of the crew make my yard significantly messier with the most half-a** attempt at clean up blowing I've personally witness. It was done with an impressive lack of care that said "don't even bother me, I don't care either way." So I didn't. But I was wondering why they would be blowing the remnants of artificial turf, tiny little bits of chewed up plastic - all over my natural grass, patio and garden. I had to clean up after them, and luckily that's when I found the long nails before a child found them. (They weren't hidden at all, again, a shocking lack of attention to detail when it came to cleaning up the job site.) We're now a couple month in but the turf is functioning as expected. read more

Great experience from quote to installation of our backyard turf. Would absolutely recommend their service to anyone. They worked very fast and the whole team was wonderful. read more

These guys were great! From initial contact and grass selection to proposal and installation, they were professional, friendly, respectful and cleaned up when the job was completed, on time and on budget. WE LOVE our new lawn, as does our 17 month old Yellow Lab, who runs, rolls around on it, and just thinks it's all for him (probably is!). Highly recommend. We had numerous surfaces in this location and all failed at some point (natural grass, natural stone, ground cover, etc) read more

I had the best experience with Purchase Greens this week, for a nice job in front of a small house. They are so helpful, and the best thing is that they communicate very quickly. The person that answered the phone was Haley G, the manager and dispatcher, and she is a delight - very sharp, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a very real pleasure to work with them on this project, and I highly recommend them! read more

I can't thank Kyra from Purchase Green enough! Shopping for turf is not easy, but Kyra was just amazingly helpful. She had an answer for all my questions. She was able to beat a quote from a different company just to earn my business. Thank you Kyra for helping me with making a selection, and taking those extra steps in doing so!! Future turf purchaser, if you want to make your turf purchase simple, call and ask for Kyra! read more

I couldn't be more please with Purchase Green. I worked with the team out of Concord for my home in Lafayette. Our home is on a steep hill in a forested area, and they were able to help me with the design and drainage. I was also able to find a turf that had a more rustic look which fit the area better than a bright green lawn would have. Diego guided my throughout the process, and Jessica was spot on with scheduling and billing. Kudos to Steve's hard working crew! read more

We initially used Purchase Green a few months ago for part of our yard and hired the company again to change the grading, add a retaining wall and install artificial grass in another area of our yard. The project was not a simple one, but similar to last time the Purchase Green team had good advice and finished the project as we had envisioned it. Steve and his team are knowledgeable, professional and care about delivering the desired outcome even when it takes extra steps. Would hire Purchase Green / Steve and his crew again and recommend them. read more

Purchase Green did a fabulous job on my back yard! Aaron was very professional and efficient in proving a bid and scheduling the work. I thought this project would take a month or so and they got it done in 9 days! They made it easy to pick out the pavers and the turf type and my yard looks incredible! I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with this company. Marcos especially did a great job at providing me with several options through out the process and gave me his professional opinion throughout the process so I felt very taken care of and felt I was able to make educated decisions because Marco was proving so much information. I absolutely love this company and plan to use them for my front yard next! read more

Absolutely amazing job. I have a small backyard that was absolutely hideous, and they transformed it in under a day. The crew was on time, very friendly, and provided helpful design ideas. Harry, the sales manager, was fantastic! Their price was quite reasonable, not the very lowest, but some competitors quoted me more than double! I would definitely recommend them. I needed an odd size artificial turf for my dogs for potty on the patio. I didn't need $300 worth! I needed a 3 foot strip. I talked to Robert and he set me up with a remnant that could be picked up in Petaluma. I picked it up today exactly as I was told it would be ready. Trevor had my turf all rolled up, placed it in my car for me and when I got it home, it was perfect! Exactly what I needed at a great price. Robert and Trevor are so friendly and professional! I recommend Purchase Green to everyone! Very pleased! read more

I researched several companies to provide and install artificial grass in my back yard. Purchase Green had the best quality types of artificial grass where I found a lovely type that was lush and just the right shade of green. Drake Chain came to my home to discuss the project. He was polite, friendly and listened carefully to my requests. He gave me a bid for the work that was reasonable and fair compared to the bid another company offered. Diego Rodriquez came out before the work started to examine the site, take measurements and plan the layout of the artificial grass. Diego was also polite, friendly and explained how the work would take place. The men who installed the artificial grass were efficient, careful, polite and consulted with me when needed ; and carefully cleaned up after the work was done. The office staff were also very nice, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I am happy with the beautiful artificial grass which has transformed my back yard into a lovely oasis. Thank you Purchase Green. read more

In December 2022, I hired Purchase Green to do the frontage of a Victorian in Petaluma, CA. I, myself was unable to visit the work site, due to ttemporary disability - but I was very picky about getting the best artificial turf for the job - best colour, texture, etc. for this particular placement, best to compliment the paint colours used on the house, etc. Purchase Green worked with me very patiently, giving my assistant a variety of samples to bring to me - and these samples were large enough to provide meaningful comparisons, when set beside each other. Their agents patiently answered all my questions over the 'phone. They were willing & able to work with photos of the frontage area, on which I had drawn my "vision" for turf placement, and semi-circular, benderboard defined areas for turfless soil at the base of shrubs in the frontage area. Their bid was reasonable, their work was both quick & competent, they allowed my assistant to be present & take photos. They cleaned-up after themselves, and assisted me in registering for the warranty of the turf & their work. I recommend then highly! I would hire them again for another propert - and, probably will in 2023. [And, as you can probably tell, I am a somewhat obsessive-compulsive perfectionistic & difficult customer - so, be impressed that I really am satisfied with the work of Purchase Green.] read more

Had a great experience buying my artificial grass at Purchase Green. I installed the grass myself so i had tons of questions. Sharon was a huge help at every stage in the process. I had a putting green installed in my backyard. Aaron Singh provided the bid and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all questions and was very responsive to text and emails. The bid was significantly cheaper than the other two bids I got. The putting green turned out great. My only constructive input is that the installers did not complete the job on time , didn't show up when they said they would, left for a few hours during the install and left a bit of a mess on the sidewalk. They did not clean up as well as I would have expected. I give the end product a five star and Aaron a five star. I give the installers a 3 star, due to missing time commitments, leaving a bit of a mess and lack of proactive communication. With that said, I'd recommend Purchase Greens. Thanks read more

Asked nicely if they could repsond to my questions and re-measure due to differences. They never responded to me at all. BEWARE read more

Absolutely amazing and fantastic service! I would give 10 stars if I could! I had an unfortunate experience with another contractor installing my artificial grass and the installation needed to be done again. I chose Purchase Green and could not be happier with the result. The entire experience was a pleasure, starting with Brooke at the Concord Office. Brooke is bright, professional, and friendly. She made sure she sent the very best personnel to my job---and that meant Steve, the "grass whisperer." Steve and his talented, experienced, and conscientious crew did a meticulous job installing artificial grass in my front and back yards. The finished product is stunning and seamless! I can't say enough great things about Purchase Green, Steve, and their crew. Search no further. It took a lot to make me happy since I had to pay to have my lawn done twice! Bought 900 square feet of artificial grass which I installed myself ( still in process ) . Was told to get 1 50 lb box of nails to install which should cover 1000 square feet. The nails only covered 300 square feet. I live over an hour away and when I called to let them know I was shorted on nails, they suggested I pay $80 additional dollars to ship more nails or drive an hour there and back to pick them up. That is not good customer service. Especially when I was told I will ONLY need 1 box ( when I needed 3 boxes ). Put a really bad taste in my mouth after that. Absolutely could not be HAPPIER with my experience with this company, I found them at the Marin home and garden show and signed up for a quote appointment. Harry came out and taught me a lot about the what the project would entail, explained the process and took measurements. Gave me some ideas that exceeded my own and provided cost SAVINGS tips at the same time. The timeline I set up was agreed upon and everything was done in full, within the time frame. I even met up with Harry one more time so I could walk on the grass I picked. The day of installation came and the crew showed up as promised and gave me two great ideas that would enhance the job even more.
