It's a pretty small store the selection is small it they seem to have some cute home decor from San Francisco and maybe local artist. The main reason for my 3 stars is price. It just seems incredibly unreasonable. There were felt coasters for $30, little felt rings to put on your wine glass for $28, reusable bag for shopping that was $68, tiny vase for a tiny succulent was $28 but you could buy a whole basket of succulents with a basket for that price. And a very small candle for $35. I'm not rich but I'm not poor and I would find it very hard for me to come back to those prices. I felt that the items weren't that more unique to hold those prices.

Did I learn how to make candles on my own? No. It was more of an introduction to the world of candle making. Give it a try and dip your wick into it. FYI: You get a 15% store wide discount on the day of the workshop. Scents open up more fully in your candle after a few days. The variety was endless, the artful presentation of the seed packets is worth framing and the lone employee was generous with her time explaining things and even gifted us with a few seed potatoes that were just past their prime but will grow nicely.. I like what I saw and I will always seek out the knowledge of another person who is willing to share that with me. A few times the match was not perfect (Small amount of paint purchased), and they decided to match a new batch at no cost. Fast forward now to 2025 where I purchased a few gallons for painting inside and out. I brought samples and they looked to be okay in the lighted area, but I never know until I paint a wall and it completely dries to be honest. This time the match was quite off to the point where I'd either have to paint the entire house or quite simply just get a re match to something that's closer. I had used maybe an eighth of the gallon purchased for the first room, so not much waste at all. When I brought it back with photos showing how off it was, I was greeted with a wonderful individual who basically smirked and said "That's a bummer". A bummer indeed, but one would think they would do something at that point. Nope, he merely turned his back to me to work on a new batch of paint for another customer. I asked if he could replace the match that clearly did not work, he told me "Company rules dictate we don't take paint back". He proceeded to tell me that other customers were waiting and needed his attention and that I'll have to paint my entire house as he couldn't get close to the match. So spend hundreds of dollars to fix a terrible match in hopes they get it right this time...I just took my business elsewhere and will never recommend Friedman's again to anyone for paint purposes, just truly sad customer service and willing to stand by a product. Ended up going to another paint store (Larger chain paint store) that matched it much closer to the original and stated they will re match for free if there are any issues. Lesson learned.
